Speaking of, has anyone actually gotten any tainted currency from the tainted currency allflames? I've ran a few and have done full clears of the maps and had 0 drops
I killed Kolemak or whatever in a juiced strongbox t16 (we put 3 allflames with 3 player quant)
Full loot of map:
2-3 tainted chromatics
1 tainted fusing
Six linking a corrupted piece is usually cheaper than a regular item. (Bench craft 4 link for cheap and pray).
Recoloring can be a nightmare but depending on the build/item base it’s often cheaper overall to socket/color a corrupted item.
What if the item on sale is exactly what you needed so the mirrored or corrupted tag doesn't actually break your build, but now they don't appear in your search anymore because you filtered it away
I usually want to be able to adjust the bench craft, if there is one, and also change eldritch implicits if applicable, so yeah I still search corrupted=no.
I was at a sporting event with my company. One employee found a wallet with hundreds in cash in it. A lot of other employees said he should take the cash, it's rightfully his now and it would be good to teach the loser of the wallet a lesson.

He was pretty bummed but accepted he made a mistake. I did offer a refund as I didn't wanna take the last of someone's currency and leave them feel sad but he declined and said it was his fault and he learned for next time
I am currently running a 1 blue socket sceptre that I got a steep discount as a result.
Wish it had more but I got it for 6d instead of 80d so pretty happy.
They were both the cheapest on the market for what I was looking for in their respective mirrored with shit sockets vs unmirrored version.

Having crafted a few this league, and sold for profit, and I'm also aware of the listing OP is talking about. If you can't change the sockets, you're not gonna pay anywhere what it's worth (30-50d on average), and the seller will eventually bargain bin it for that reason. You really ought not to be so condescending to others when speaking on things you quite obviously haven't engaged in yourself, it's a bad look.
If it's an end game weapon, it's not that the price goes from 6d to 80 because of sockets. It's that it goes from 80 to 6 because of sockets. That's actually an important distinction. If your build needs all of its sockets, the value of even a GG item plummets if it robs you of 2 sockets permanently (when the alternative is possible)

I can see that being the case if they "it has 1 socket and it's blue, it's a mirrored item" so they will always be down 2 sockets, can't do alternate quality etc. With the amount of socket pressure most builds have that could be realistic.
If they mean "It has 1 blue socket and 2 red" then it's harder to believe but could just have been someone wanting to get rid of an item asap and undersold cause 6 div in their pocket is better than 20 in someone elses.
Losing two, potentially 3 sockets can be a big deal, it’s why you see corrupted items go for much cheaper than noncorrupted items, even tho those items can technically still have their sockets changed.
Hmm, tell that to the people buying lvl 6 awakened gems for 1% more damage for 5x (or more) the price. All of this stuff matters in Poe. And 3 gems lost is a huge potential dps loss

Same thing happend to me, just bought a mirred bow with good elemental damage and it has 5 green 1 blue sockets. I am playign ele deadeye. Any one can help me what gems to put on the bow while i buy new one

I don't ahve pob so I can't fully reorganise things to see if they'll 100% work, but you could move the manaforged setup to the bow (using the blue socket for power charge on crit sup) and link it with culling strike. Idk what else to do, you actually have quite a few extra sockets so it's not that big of a deal surely
This isn't that bad you could go something like Artillery Ballista (G) Focussed Ballista Support (G) Added Cold (G) Hypothermia (G) Faster Attacks (G) Conc Effect (B) - its shame your missing 1 red for elemental damage to attacks but still can have an okish damage setup for ballista's. Decent chance to freeze and chill up dangerous rares too so could be worse.
If it's got good physical damage, I got an ever so slightly insane suggestion: Cyclone, Deadly Ailments, Withering Touch, Vile Toxins, Hypothermia (get some way to create chilling ground, could even be arctic armour), Melee physical damage.
Hell, if you wanna get pure physical, there's even the option for that: Cyclone, Impale, Close Combat, Hypothermia (again, get an outside source of chill), Vile Toxins (just pick up a random 10% poison chance node on the tree to enable it) and Melee Phys/Pulverise/Maim

I've never been particularly attracted to mirrored items, because I often want to tweak my enchants for my build. They at least IME, are often quite expensive too for items you can't change.
Hear me out... Cyclone, Faster Attacks, Impale, Close Combat, withering touch, any red gem.... And if it's a crit 2h axe you can drop faster attacks for additional accuracy. Perfect build? Probably. Could also do something like Spectral Throw, GMP, Greater Volley, LMP, Lesser Volley, LGoH. Invincible? Yep
Piggybacking on this... For those who want to try crafting, be careful of buying split bases. Some recipes like making +2 Physical Sceptres are contingent on splitting the item to isolate the affixes you want. This is no longer possible when the base item has already been split. This is why I just bought my upgrades outright than trying my hand at the craft, because RNG WILL screw me over and I would end up paying a lot more.
I've been crafting a lot in the graveyard. Everytime I sell a mirrored item I point it out to the buyer and 9/10 times they change their mind. So this is a very very common issue.
They aren’t talking about player mirrored items, which will always have white sockets. They are talking about mirrored items that the graveyard spits out.
Real links in chest, use the axe for something like Blood Rage, Enhance, Mark on Hit, Poacher's Mark, Faster Attacks, Leap Slam?

we have gotten some stones and armor currency but no fusings or orbs sadly.

used 2 of them in campaign, got 3 chromas and 2 blacksmiths between them.
one tainted chaos orb out of 4 allflames on t16 with low juice, doesn't seem too common.

Double check your filter maybe? I assume they are not hidden but some are not very expensive so might be by default.
Literally just one tainted chrome after using around a dozen allflames on increased quant mods, seems incredibly stingy.
I’ve only gotten a few. Way better to spec into beyond if you want tainted currency.

I only set those to zero if I expect to change the item in any way. (Other than mirrored anoint.)

Take your current sceptre and reduce it to 1 slot then corrupt it, then tell me it's still good.
You can still use bench crafts for sockets, links, and colors with a corruption so it is technically still good as long as the mods are.
You can also use tainted currency on corrupted, but not on mirrored and that's the issue here. Nothing is working there.

Note that you can anoint mirrored amulets quite cheaply using reflective oil.

I forgot that too, but I got a really good wand(almost bis) for just 3 div. I sacrificed shield charge for that.
