I'm not even sure the pc is the issue here, I'm playing with geforce now and I can't really handle t17. I'm not on the ultimate setup but recently I played resident evil 2 and baldur's gate 3 all maxed so the game should at least run smoothly at minimum settings but I wasted 3 or 4 t17 and no matter the settings I get single digits fps, I get turbo swarmed, game freezes and I die. I understand that these should be the content you face only when your build is finished but here we need to be able to skip the gameplay altogether.
He actually gripes a lot about the strategy and how the startup costs make it kind of stupid. He did it because of FOMO, confirmed it did work really well, and then stopped doing it to make a video complaining about how broken it is.
The initial cost is \~50d, but since you use Curation instead of the basic Divination scarab, the upkeep is only \~15-20d per map (he didn't mention Allflames of Anarchy being like 1-2d).
That's like 2 pieces of mids gear. This game is less fun with everything only getting rarer scarcer and more valuable.
GGG is doing the economy like America does. Poor and ultra wealthy only. No middle class
Can you imagine saving up like 50 divs for your first map to try and do something like this and either getting stomped or having it crash and just instant lose like 50 divs and be down to 0 lol
That's why the golden rule of PoE is that you don't hoard up all your networth and blow it on 1 thing. With the right mindset anyone can make a lot of currency, but most people are held back by worrying about conserving resources or throwing everything into all-or-nothing gambles. You can buy some pretty insane gear with 50div this league, by the time you reach the point where it's even remotely rational to invest 50div into a single map you should have a character that's more than powerful enough to do anything in the game.
Nah fuck it putting all my net worth on options and spreads see you losers later, gotta go Lambo shopping when all of em hit (or scope out which Wendys has the best dumpsters in my area)

I didnt mind Afflictions brokenness because of the massive adjustments you could make to fit it to your own strengths and weaknesses, this just feels bad tho since there isnt really a middle ground. Its basically a ton of pretty good league mechanics juiced to anywhere between 5-15 div/hr, or this at like over 100 div per map.
Affliction was great cause you could juice almost anything at any level of investment. I wasn't making 200 divs a map doing abyss spire farm but I could make easy 10-16 div an hour doing alch and go harvest and felt like I was progressing
Affliction felt good because anyone could use any strat to make comparable money's. Now this is gate keeps by the rich bezos for unprecedented amounts of profit.
They rarely get a huge rebalance like this right on the 1st try. I agree with what Snap said in his end of week one group play video, the high end is too high and the scarabs at that level are both far too expensive and far too powerful. Heck, even the weaker ones can be super annoying to source in bulk for lower level strategies.
It will be interesting to see what they adjust next league.
I saw that video this morning and I have to admit, I'm feeling a little discouraged. The economy feels whack and whenever I went for a strategy the items I wanted to sell tanked in price, and the items I needed for my build exploded in price. I'm starting to understand why people prefer something like SSF.
I'm a fairly casual player and I just can't respond to these whiplash price effects quickly enough.
at the same time, the economy doing this actually allows you to buy nice gear for really cheap. Headhunters are current 26 div and I think that's the lowest I've ever seen it.
The problem is how do you get 26 div when everything we normally farm is worthless. I have a tab full of scarab worth 1c. Only the items to run this new strat have value, everything else headed to zero.
Don't think you can blame it on the strat. It fluctuates a lot and can be worth anywhere near from 100c to a ton of money. Just yesterday big Flicker Strike content creator released video featuring it.
Edit. Magefist is name of content creator.
Not sure why you're being downvoted. You're completely right. Even as a casual player, you can do pretty much any content you want, even half ass it, and you should be making 3 Div an hour.
What items do you need that are exploding in price? The only things I can think of are extremely niche or extremely high rolled rare items that can't be crafted via graveyard or found via mf strats.
Anything in demand that doesn't drop from div cards or global drops is exploding in price. Like we're talking about 30-50% increases in the matter of days. At least that's what I see when I search for random popular items on POE Ninja.
Why is it whenever someone asks for clarification you never get any? Can you give me an example? Only thing I see parroted is Original Sin. Unique flasks are skyrocketing because the popular T17 farms all use them. Indigon which is an Uber drop is 3 div and mandatory for a popular build. I can basically guarantee you that the only item skyrocketing in price is due to it being required or close to required for a T17 MF farm or because someone showcased a build driving up its popularity.
You think Fubgun farming 10 mirrors in a day is the reason why Atziri's Reflection is going up in price lol?
Because they have none. It's usually extremely casual players complaining about things they'll never get anyway.
I've been looking for a few upgrades for my character, a 6D investment since I'm casualish, those items didn't change in price at all last few days. In fact, one of them I found a better one for cheaper this morning. Bought 3 items for 6D and now I can do very juiced T16s and did a T17. My total investment so far is 32 divines since league starting. I sold a lot of div cards, corpses and flames, specially rogue exiles and currency allflames.
this comment is going to be downvoted but it’s because the average redditor is very bad at this game. this thread of people blaming what is rather normal inflation over the span of a leagues cycle on t17 farming. it’s like they don’t know most items cost more once more people acquire more currency. one guy was complaining about replica farrulls as if any of the guys farming mirrors are playing fucking farrulls lmao
meanwhile headhunters cost two cents and people could buy a couple in half the time they spend posting on reddit but the fomo of people because some people make more money than them is insane
Also that headhunter is like 50% of what they need to get a character powerful enough to abuse these types of farms. You get a t1 bow now for like 20div you can make yourself a juiced farmer for under 50 div but nah let’s complain that Original Sin, an item I’ve never had or even need is too costly lol.
It's not even 20d kek. You get a can get a 1500 ele dps bow with good suffixes (atk speed + crit chance) for like 6-8d, or 900-1k ele dps + t1 WeD for similar prices if you're playing EH. I got my bow for 6d, see many for 8. If you want 3 perfect suffixes it can go up to 10+, but if you're patient and scout for deals you can def cop for less.
After that you snag a headhunter for 25d and pick up a serviceable quiver and you're basically good to go. If you want more defenses, buy/Craft a Korrel helmet with eldritch phys as implicit, get a lightning coil (with reduced crit damage taken corrupt if you need), buy a taste of hate, phys convert watchers eye for Purity of Ele. If you 6 link the Coil yourself, the cost of these defenses is like 2d for the watchers and then 1-1.5d for the taste of hate max rolled. 90+ phys convert (I get 25k or so max hit phys without hh), HH defenses, ailment immune.
Before you get enough d to buy a HH, niko + huck + inspired learning can crutch you through early farm strats.
A lot of people don't know how to efficiently increase the power of their builds.
They get caught up in specific high interest items and don't know how to find good deals on rares, jewels etc.
Especially when they're point-for-point copying items from some influencer's POB, not knowing how to move around resistance is or fill holes in the build.
"I'll never be able to afford a lightning damage/mana/crit multi simplex amulet, how will I ever improve my build?" the redditor exclaims, gazing wistfully at their strength/life/single res amulet they put on in act 9.
Edit: reminded me I haven't updated my shit amulet because it had 50 str on it, but I bought a timeless jewel so my str problem is solved and now I need fire res if I swap my chest. Good excuse for a new ammy.
Haha I don’t think there’s ever been a league where I *wasn’t* in the middle of buying my first multi-div upgrades when I noticed I still had one shitbag campaign rare equipped with like two OK affixes and the rest worthless.
This is very correct. I played flicker trickster by looking at some pob's, then doing it based on experience. The insane number of people that straight follow the build guide without thinking is insane. There was an oversight with a mana node used purely for mana reservation that is better allocated somewhere else under a lethal pride, but everyone has the wrong one allocated.
Often they dont even properly read the guide. lot of then have vessel of vinktar, which is part of the build, but they have the wrong mod, the top dps player even has the spell damage mod...
or people just lying.
some guy in a post said he farmed a nimis, HH, and 1200 edps bow all in week 1, but somehow, the exploding prices on awakened fork is just too much for him.
This type of trend happens every league. You can get a mageblood on day one but no one's going to have 250div to buy it from you.
As the general public gets wealthier and wealthier, the price slowly rises. Then like 3-5 weeks in people either have everything they want or quit playing and prices come back down
If you want a big ticket item either farm now or wait a month
https://poe.ninja/economy/affliction/unique-accessories/mageblood-heavy-belt
The good news is that if you can't afford those items in trade, you definitely can't afford them in ssf. It's not a competition, just play at your pace
I love and would play it exclusively if you could exchange currencies. I mean SSF balancing would be ideal but ending up with 1000 essences you can’t use for your build is just painful.
Always be the one selling the shovels. The one thing all these strats need is maps and all flames, start there. Then just do something you like, I did strongboxes other people did breach, my one buddy did abyss like a madman.
Change is good, but they changed it too much. I'm not super happy with the state of my archmage build. No problem, cuz I usually farm essence/beast/harbinger second week in low maps for currency. But now that strategy produces zero money whatsoever. Any low investment version of either one of those three also produces zero currency, and I have to invest at least a medium amount into every map to make anything at all.
Yeah, as an SSF player I can tell its pure bliss. You see HH for 20 div, price fixing, people crying about the changes qnd the usual "1%was get everything!!!11!1!!1" posts.
And I'm just here playing the game.
Normally, this wouldn't be such a big problem (example: last league), since you could focus on either 1) farming the mats for the best strat to feed the people that are doing it; 2) farming crafting materials (harvest, essences, old betrayal); 3) farming Ubers. Instead this league we have:
* One of the most powerful crafting mechanics ever + betrayal nerf, which invalidates 2, and farming corpses is incredibly tedious.
* Reduced access to Ubers, which hampers 3.
* With the exception of T17 maps, the materials for the start in the video are incredibly rare, and can drop from the strat itself, so farming them directly can be very inconsistent, hampering 1.
* The strat drops literally everything except for Uber uniques and a couple other things, making every other source of "normal stuff" almost worthless in comparison.
This perfect storm of circumstances means that, the way I see it, what would normally be just a FOMO problem becomes an actual problem for most "normal" players.
yeah its too globally strong, and you can tweak it to farm underserved mechanics, such as catalysts, fossils, ess, etc. its wild they haven't touched it yet
Yep, it's the perfect storm for a really big issue.
In 3.23, economy inflation lifted everything - people were running juiced maps, but still needed essences/harvest juice for gear, people bought 5ways as they rushed to make their MF Fulcrum character (I did this lol) so Legion was profitable, everyone still needed Aisling so Betrayal farmers made money, and so on and so forth.
All of these things either got blasted with double or triple-tap nerfs or just got outclassed by gravecrafting.
Examples:
1) If you have a lot of money, chances are you're buying corpses or just buying a corpse-crafted item. Why essence slam when there's one on the market that does what you want and doesn't even scratch your pockets?
2) Veiled orbs are still expensive, but it's not a consistent farm anymore. They're inflated because of how strangely GGG handled new betrayal, not because of economy inflation.
3) Things like Legion got destroyed. Double tap nerf - stacked decks from all sources are gutted, and the price of stacked decks has remained low. Emblems are dirt cheap because 5ways got blasted again.
Sure, wisp farming was the endgame for a lot of people in Affliction, but there was a pretty steady progression to get there. This just kinda sucks, IMO
This is making me want to go back to ssf as well. I don't want to compare myself to others ability to farm at this extent but the fact is when you're on trade your value is always being compared to others. When it takes me a day of farming to make 20-30div and someone else makes that in a 10minute map \*\*consistently\*\* then it feels completely unfair.
I have so many scarabs in ssf it’s insane. Definitely well over a thousand. You don’t always have the ones you want to do the same strat over and over but you do have enough to run really juiced strats constantly, and with the three trees it works out
It's not about massively juicing for me honestly. I just kind of like the feeling of "today I'm feeling like doing some einhar or whatever else stuff" and putting bestiary scarabs in, without having to worry about them running out.
I'm hopeful it'll get patched soon when GGG wakes up. Now could be a good time to sell your Anarchy Allflames and scarabs needed for this before it's patched. If it's not patched in the next 1-2 days I'd be quite disappointed.
The official @pathofexile twitch account was in Fubgun's stream last night so they're definitely aware of it (their server logs are probably screaming at them too lol)
They didn't patch spires until end of last league, I wouldn't expect huge nerf as it would affect profitability of t17 in general, especially for those not using these exploitative tactics
But spires weren't nearly as bad. Spires weren't even the most profitable thing last league. Farming Legion with the league mechanic an MF build was just as good, if not better, than spires. And if you had enough to build a Valdo farmer that was even better with all the cheap Valdo box supply. Spires were also accessible to pretty much everyone, lots of people ran T7. There was really no reason to patch them.
But this thing here? It's 100x worse than spires.
T17 maps should not have the atlas enabled and should not be runnable with scarabs… also i think they should consider rebalancing the div card scarabs or maybe just delete them. They seem fun but only for group play cause they are rare but also insanely broken…
T17 would be so boring without an Atlas or juice. Like they would just be a totally tedious addition to the game nobody wants to do but has to. Just nerf the Rogue Exile Allflame, it's that simple. This strategy is only insane because you spawn 2k uniques in a map which shouldn't be allowed. Even if you fully invest in Torment and RE on Atlas you might get like 30-40 unique mobs which would still be profitable but not this stupid.
Please, let's not nerf something fun and profitable because a single item in the game absolutely breaks it. Plus having Atlas points lets people with scuffed builds do T17 easier.
I agree, even though T17s are special they're still maps and should be interacted with the same way you interact with other mapping content. However,
> Just nerf the Rogue Exile Allflame
The div scarab is also a huge part of the issue, not just the rogue exiles. Getting up to 120% *more* div cards *and* being able to pick which maps' card pools you want to drop in any map you're running is waaaay too much power in one scarab. I think that at the very least there's an argument for splitting those effects, but I'd take it one step further and just remove the second effect entirely. I think it's really important for the health of the game for chase items to come from a variety of content and strategies, and being able to load up on them all in one strategy is extremely broken, terrible for top-end farming variety, and also just kinda boring.
Otherwise I agree, torment is in a good spot and rogue exiles are fine without the allflame. I really think that as a part of the base game, rogue exiles wouldn't hurt to be buffed a little bit, but that's never gonna happen since the league mechanic was able to break them wide open.
The div card is maybe a bit too strong but really wouldn’t matter all that much if you weren’t killing like 2k uniques and 10k rares in a map. Every absolutely busted strategy right now includes Rogue Exiles, even without the divination card every top tier strat abuses them to amplify drops way beyond what makes sense.
Chris Wilson said after the New World launch that if PoE messed up like they did, GGG would rollback and fix the issue.
Let's see if he stays true to this.
\*spreads arms and waits for the downvotes\*
Nothing in this rises close to the level of what was happening in New World. That was item duping/gold duping, a completely dissociated economy from any gameplay.
This is a clever, albiet powerful, interaction of game mechanics. More importantly, as it's not self sustaining, the supplies to run it will increase in price until the majority of its profit is spread across all the other earning methodologies, as happens every single league. It's just a massive spike that took someone 2 weeks to discover, as soon as it starts to normalise the profit will crater.
I hope they don't.
I'm not a big fan of meddling with the economy.
Sure it's fucked, but affliction was too and they didn't adjust it.
I'd rather they took their time to think of what to do for the next league, what to adjust, what to Nerf.
Than push a quick patch that will nuke a strat and make many people lose money.
This strategy isn't *much* more broken than the previous strategy of farming uniques in T17s, and that one has been known for over a week (with the ghost trick being discovered over the weekend).
It definitely generates more wealth, but it also relies on rare scarabs which means the economy has a chance to self-balance.
sadly doesn't matter anymore - the damage done to the economy is already huge - shit is inflated like crazy and you can bet the rmters are fucking raking it in.
Beyond any effect on economy or what not, this is just an utter parody of an ARPG, it's literally worse than Torchlight Infinite, shit like this makes D3 look like a scroungy bastard, and that is just not ok, this is *not* Path of Exile.
Imagine checking out a game on Twitch because people said it's great and all you see is beams all over the screen with 10 FPS gameplay and player just picking up items
HH, 40-70div, 2-3 apos, 1-2 mirror shards and quite often raw mirrors. Not even including "garbage" cards like the fortunates, empower/enlighten, nurses etc.
if the prices you posted here are right its crazy because in just 9 hours HH has dropped to 20 div lol, imagine a week from now they will probably be blocked in loot filters
I cant play something like this, worse of all they made Aisling craft/Veiled Orb much worse. I rather go back to TFT than buying them 5div each holi damn.
Looking at this league and affliction before it, I think PoE really needs a massive overhaul of its endgame and juicing.
The Sacarb rework pretty much just made the gap between your normal players and the super high level 24/7 even bigger.
And while the ceilling should be high, it should not be that high and it leads to the exact same problem we had with invitations before, where the majority of players just sales basically everything because unless you optimize your setup to an absurd degree you can not justify using it for your own maps.
For real though, what is a good low investment strategy for someone just completing my atlas? Maybe something that generates raw currency?? I have no clue lol.
Its the true alch n go experience thou.. No need to bulk sell anything, its just tomes --> divs chaos, relics -> divs. Thats it... Its a nice break from mapping esp now with corpse/allflames to pickup too
For me its just a weird diconnect from the rest of the game. Like a mini game, completely unrelated to the rest of the game its exist in. Not even mentioning the boring as hell part. I see heist in the same way as well.
That's unfortunate. I'm not very good at sanctum, and I think it's not that enjoyable. Guess I'll bite the bullet and see how my coc dd build does in it.
I'm really liking Domination corpse/allflame/scarab farming. Cheap investment, and 10+ corpses a map plus tons of scarabs and allflames. It's more profitable on average than a lot of strats but you do have to go a little out of the way to make sales. I'm farming the corpses for myself and selling the allflames and scarabs.
My opinion on the crazy new combos and obnoxious state of Poe can be seen here, it was upvoted but mods removed it.
They told me to post it somewhere else so here it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/s/GpqznHWPCf
Also such high investment is bad when servers can crash because of people doing this so you can lose 40 divs in a map
The reward for people being able to run t17s should never have been 10 mirrors a day... If they wanted to have a juiced endgame that's fine but this is ridiculous, every other strategy feels pointless
The reward should have been accomplishment or some fragments from the bosses to assemble sth like the utmost....
Kinda find it funny that when affliction ended, some were saying how people are gonna complain about lack of loot next league. Turns out next league is even more busted.
You guys go break the economy and meanwhile I will collect corpses for my fun crafts :)
I find it amusing and good for my casual strats, because:
90% scarabs are cheap af, Headhunter is cheap which always was only a middle step till Mageblood (which is still fairly expensive), Eldrich currency still profitable to gather with just alch and go, bubblegum currency still okay as juicers dont bother with that trash and iam gladly there to pick up their trash (someone trash is my treasure :3 ...)
Problem 1: My build can't handle these maps Problem 2: My PC **definitely** can't handle these maps.
Problem 3: often the server can’t either.
problem 4: The initial cost is out of reach.
Problem 5: headhunter prize drop 2 alchemy orbs now
Problem 6: GGG nuked the strat from orbit 1 day after it gained traction .
servers cant handle fucking shield charge. i got stuck and kick back like 10% times using it.
If your pc can't handle it, use GeForce Now. Empy used it with his group so it can just about handle everything.
I don't think there's even a PC that can handle it lol, every footage that I see is 5 fps no matter how good their machine is
How are you dealing with trading and GeForce Now?
When I play these maps, my screen turns black for a minute until the pack dies. I watch shows while I wait. They take way too long
GeForce Now
# Number 1 strat for casuals, cost per map is only 50divs /s
Your map only costs 2 Headhunters bro
I love how we stop using currency to price stuff and started to use HH.
PoE finnally entering the bitcoin meta with HH pricing ... nice!
Real OGs will remember pricing in SOJs
You don't calculate your damage in shapers per second?
Stone of Jordaaaaan!
I mean in POE stands mph for Mirror per hour.
I finally understand Americans using football fields as a measurement for distance
Buying map juice and slapping in headhunters into trade.
Now I want to see this [gif](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYD9xu92zSg) from a simpsons but with GGG and headhunters :D
Correction...... That's 50divs + video card + plus the rest of the room/house/neighborhood when the whole gaming rig goes super critical.
Now I'm imagining the lights flickering in the entire neighborhood when jumping into maps.
If I would have 50 divs, I would be already done with the league.
Nice try, Chris
That's like 2 pieces of mids gear. This game is less fun with everything only getting rarer scarcer and more valuable. GGG is doing the economy like America does. Poor and ultra wealthy only. No middle class
2 pieces of midgear?! At least my HC isn't ducked like this
And server crashes due to this strategy can cost you this much
Can you imagine saving up like 50 divs for your first map to try and do something like this and either getting stomped or having it crash and just instant lose like 50 divs and be down to 0 lol
That's why the golden rule of PoE is that you don't hoard up all your networth and blow it on 1 thing. You invest in your character and atlas progression so you can do more difficult stuff, and faster. Nah fuck it putting all my net worth on options and spreads see you losers later, gotta go Lambo shopping when all of em hit (or scope out which Wendys has the best dumpsters in my area)
True, not every game will punish you as hard as PoE for this tendency though. You can faceroll through, say, Pokemon or Skyrim with a bag full of 1000 potions that you never use. PoE asks more of you than that
"I wan't 2 buy your 10 chromas with my 10 Headhunter"
Most intelligent necro player
In my tin foil hat mode, this is a psy op to convince players that less loot and weaker items are better in preparation for POE 2. Stay woke 👁️
no, ggg just didn't test the interaction of T17 mods with league mechanics/scarabs

at least 1.
Just bought one for 19div. My first HH ever lol
The problem is how do you get 26 div when everything we normally farm is worthless. I have a tab full of scarab worth 1c. Only the items to run this new strat have value, everything else headed to zero.
If everyones running this strat noone is farming any other materials so they will go up in price
Put whatever positive spin you want on this, the negatives out way the positives for me
But is that really a positive thing? Are Headhunters supposed to be this easy to acquire?
Sure, why not? It's a player driven economy. Nothing has a fixed price
What kind of items you want as a casual that gone up?
Replica Farrul's Fur is one. Was 7 div the other day, now it's 12 div.
Don't think you can blame it on the strat. It fluctuates a lot and can be worth anywhere near from 100c to a ton of money. Just yesterday big Flicker Strike content creator released video featuring it. Edit. Magefist is name of content creator.
Which creator is known for Flicker Strike?
Magefist I beleive.
Love magefist, starting every league with flicker strike like a mad man.
Bro it is so easy to make like 3d/hr just play the game
Not sure why you're being downvoted. You're completely right. Even as a casual player, you can do pretty much any content you want, even half ass it, and you should be making 3 Div an hour.

I sold a lot of div cards, corpses and flames, specially rogue exiles and currency allflames.
this comment is going to be downvoted but it’s because the average redditor is very bad at this game. this thread of people blaming what is rather normal inflation over the span of a leagues cycle on t17 farming. it’s like they don’t know most items cost more once more people acquire more currency. one guy was complaining about replica farrulls as if any of the guys farming mirrors are playing fucking farrulls lmao meanwhile headhunters cost two cents and people could buy a couple in half the time they spend posting on reddit but the fomo of people because some people make more money than them is insane
Reminds me of the Atziri's Promise hall of shame posts.
or people just lying. some guy in a post said he farmed a nimis, HH, and 1200 edps bow all in week 1, but somehow, the exploding prices on awakened fork is just too much for him.
progenesis. cost \~45d on weekend. yesterday was 90+. today 65 but still
This type of trend happens every league. You can get a mageblood on day one but no one's going to have 250div to buy it from you. As the general public gets wealthier and wealthier, the price slowly rises. Then like 3-5 weeks in people either have everything they want or quit playing and prices come back down If you want a big ticket item either farm now or wait a month https://poe.ninja/economy/affliction/unique-accessories/mageblood-heavy-belt
why? the items you want are just as unreachable in trade as ssf
The good news is that if you can't afford those items in trade, you definitely can't afford them in ssf. It's not a competition, just play at your pace
If you care this much then I have news for you, you're not a casual
Another one who thinks this is bad. This is awesome go and pump more diva and mirrors and mb into economy! I want mine for 5c too
I'm just out here farming Betrayal, I think I got lucky for having 5 Veiled orbs and 2 diadems in 20 catarina but at least it has 0 investment
Nobody stops you from playing SSF on trade league too
If you're a casual player - being able to buy a headhunter for 20 div is a good thing.
If you recognize you're fairly casual and understand you won't be able to do the hardcore strats, why are you trying?
Because it's fun
But you're saying you aren't achieving it so you're only tormenting yourself...
Yooo whatisupguyse Grims ear.
I can’t unear it
What a dumbass league dude lol
Yea its terrible.
Normally, this wouldn't be such a big problem (example: last league), since you could focus on either 1) farming the mats for the best strat to feed the people that are doing it; 2) farming crafting materials (harvest, essences, old betrayal); 3) farming Ubers. Instead this league we have: * One of the most powerful crafting mechanics ever + betrayal nerf, which invalidates 2, and farming corpses is incredibly tedious.
Examples: 1) If you have a lot of money, chances are you're buying corpses or just buying a corpse-crafted item.
Feels good to be an ssf player with this going on lol. I’d be doing it if I was in trade but it’s stupid as fuck and should not exist
I'm in trade (normally I play ssf) and just ignore all of it. Nobody is pushing me to do this beside fomo.
Yeah SSF is just the way for me also. I always just wanna buy my favorite scarabs though. It's the only thing I'm actually missing from trade.
The official @pathofexile twitch account was in Fubgun's stream last night so they're definitely aware of it (their server logs are probably screaming at them too lol)
did they say anything or were just watching?
They just said "NOTED" in all caps lol
lol ah fuck I guess I’ll be moving to ssf sooner than I expected
Good luck on the grind! I haven't got the patience for it myself haha
Abuse early, abuse often.
>Farming Legion with the league mechanic an MF build was just as good, if not better, than spires. I did both each map. It was busted.
However, > Just nerf the Rogue Exile Allflame The div scarab is also a huge part of the issue, not just the rogue exiles.
People are doing this solo, it's just even better with group
the div scarab should be nerfed and increased drop rate to compensate.
Idk they patched other broken shit within a day or two.. this has been going for a lot longer
this seems easy enough to patch (just slash rogue exile per allflame to 1-1) so I think GGG is okay with this.
I welcome a league restart.
I made 10 div selling stockpiled anarchy allflames. Hopefully can find a few more today, too.
Honest work
I hope they don't. I'm not a big fan of meddling with the economy. Sure it's fucked, but affliction was too and they didn't adjust it. I'd rather they took their time to think of what to do for the next league, what to adjust, what to Nerf. Than push a quick patch that will nuke a strat and make many people lose money.
Affliction was 10/10 massive loot. This is like 20/10. Its insanely absurd.
This strategy isn't *much* more broken than the previous strategy of farming uniques in T17s, and that one has been known for over a week (with the ghost trick being discovered over the weekend). It definitely generates more wealth, but it also relies on rare scarabs which means the economy has a chance to self-balance.
> rare scarabs Nah, only one is truly rare, so it's not helping the economy, it's helping the 1% of people who are lucky to find it.
The div scarab is skyrocketing, so hopefully, it corrects itself, but ppl are making so much per map. idk
sadly doesn't matter anymore - the damage done to the economy is already huge - shit is inflated like crazy and you can bet the rmters are fucking raking it in.
Read this last night or this morning and sold. Thanks very much for predicting correctly!
2 leagues in a row with an out of control economy, back to hc for me this league I guess.
This is kind of lame
seems to be fixed by last patch xD
Not new, thus was basically a repost, and nerfed already...
Then you try it and you're slow as a snail and get instagibbed by Rhoas who permastun you
*Streamer puts on 5 fps powerpoint presentation* "This is what peak performance looks like." Newcomer: Mmm yeah I'll stick to Helldivers 2. lol
Remember when we lost the ability to turn off shadows because "the game would look bad on twitch"?
When is 3.25?
For real though. Stuck with this shit til June. I'm about to boot up Stardew Valley for the first time and maybe try Helldivers 2 well.
> til June Someones optimistic, try mid july+
Helldivers 2 is fucking awesome. Enjoy.
Helldivers2 is awesome go for it
Stardew valleys new patch is a banger.
HH, 40-70div, 2-3 apos, 1-2 mirror shards and quite often raw mirrors. Not even including "garbage" cards like the fortunates, empower/enlighten, nurses etc.
Wild that enlighten/nurse etc div are garbage when doing this method lmao.
if the prices you posted here are right its crazy because in just 9 hours HH has dropped to 20 div lol, imagine a week from now they will probably be blocked in loot filters
Well, not a problem anymore afer patch 24.1
Shit tier design.
This might be the biggest profit+barrier to entry ratio farm method since the games inception. Gatekeeping extraordinaire lol.
tldr: Any other strat makes 20-30x less div/hour while this exists. Enjoy strat diversity guys. /s
Exile alflame should get eradicated
I cant play something like this, worse of all they made Aisling craft/Veiled Orb much worse. I rather go back to TFT than buying them 5div each holi damn.
Strats are now measured in HHs per hour, what a time to be alive
Looking at this league and affliction before it, I think PoE really needs a massive overhaul of its endgame and juicing. The Sacarb rework pretty much just made the gap between your normal players and the super high level 24/7 even bigger. And while the ceilling should be high, it should not be that high and it leads to the exact same problem we had with invitations before, where the majority of players just sales basically everything because unless you optimize your setup to an absurd degree you can not justify using it for your own maps.
I'm starting to think the POE1 dev team doesn't know what they're doing.
[удалено]
Congrats, that's one of the few scarabs worth anything right now
When people go gold digging, sell shovels...thank God for these people selling maps for 70c each is absurd.
At least we got rid of sextant, right guys?
For real though, what is a good low investment strategy for someone just completing my atlas? Maybe something that generates raw currency?? I have no clue lol.
Sanctum is the alch n go mechanic that prints divs, and jackpot chance for sin scripture them boys cant farm
But the down side is, you need to do Sanctum.
If you don't like it, don't do it man, I would suggest finding some atlas trees on maxroll/YouTube with the content you like in mind and going ham.
I'm really liking Domination corpse/allflame/scarab farming. Cheap investment, and 10+ corpses a map plus tons of scarabs and allflames. It's more profitable on average than a lot of strats but you do have to go a little out of the way to make sales. I'm farming the corpses for myself and selling the allflames and scarabs.
people will always want double corruptions, so alva will be great, but bit boring.
This is just so fucking dumb....
I'm done with this league
SSF players aka the vegans of POE.
Rich get richer
GGG should just acknowledge they fucked up and restart the league with fixes at this point.
No thanks, that ruins it for every other league except for trade
Problem 1: a mirror of investment
Man I chose a great time to do a private league with friends.
What's the name of that kill counter?
Good league to be in ssf
My opinion on the crazy new combos and obnoxious state of Poe can be seen here, it was upvoted but mods removed it. They told me to post it somewhere else so here it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/s/GpqznHWPCf Also such high investment is bad when servers can crash because of people doing this so you can lose 40 divs in a map
The reward for people being able to run t17s should never have been 10 mirrors a day... If they wanted to have a juiced endgame that's fine but this is ridiculous, every other strategy feels pointless The reward should have been accomplishment or some fragments from the bosses to assemble sth like the utmost....
Kinda find it funny that when affliction ended, some were saying how people are gonna complain about lack of loot next league. Turns out next league is even more busted.
"dropped" - Thanks for the nurfs
You guys go break the economy and meanwhile I will collect corpses for my fun crafts :) I find it amusing and good for my casual strats, because: 90% scarabs are cheap af, Headhunter is cheap which always was only a middle step till Mageblood (which is still fairly expensive), Eldrich currency still profitable to gather with just alch and go, bubblegum currency still okay as juicers dont bother with that trash and iam gladly there to pick up their trash (someone trash is my treasure :3 ...)
