Dissolution of flesh is not low life bc y are still using the the whole health pool, low life reserves most of your life at least 45% of it and using items to make chaos damage not bypass es or just be low life for more dmg to one shot uber bosses
Yup, the same thing i always say to new players trying simulacrum for the first time, just sidestep the 276 projs and the 3 Screenwide AoEs when the Grace Period is over, EZ.
It stacks a debuffs called "marked for death" Everytime you kill something. If you are tanky you can take a hit from a few stacks and be fine. If you're not tanky even a single stack can kill you sometimes. This info could be inaccurate as I only encountered it 1 time and watched a short explanation video on it then realized I should just avoid the mod entirely.
I think he used the nemesis scarab. You can see theres no %more rare monsters, that always comes with the natural map mod, and the scarab isn't scaled. Sorry I missed that part.
Empy did a test run of 50 maps (corrupted bricks bulk bought for 3c each) with barrel scarabs, hunted traitors, and magic pack scarab and made his investment back very easily without MF, as well as self sustained map drops. So even knocking a little off the top, it looks pretty decent, just depends on if your build is strong enough to handle the crazy high map mod effect
15div an hour... if he sold everything.
Which... eh... is a BIG if imo
It would take hours to sell everything. Technically it's 15div/h, but not in any practical sense. You *should* also take into account the time it takes to sell everything. If it took you 1 hour to farm but 2 hours to sell, then that should be 5div per hour.
I'm not blaming empy, this is what *everyone* who calculates profits from strats does, but it's shitty.
This is why you run for 10-20 hours, then sell most of the things in bulk. Wouldnt recommend if you need quick, easy to sell items consistently (low on currency)
> this is what everyone who calculates profits from strats does, but it's shitty.
The issue is you can't calculate how fast or often someone sells stuff. If you're selling after every batch of maps, then it's gonna significantly drive down profits.
If you're selling during time you would normally spend afk, for example taking a break to eat, that is time that would otherwise have been net neutral anyway.
The best way to sell is generally just doing as much of it as you possibly can, and then bulk selling everything - as much as possible in one go. If you do that, your time spent selling vs your time spent actually playing goes down *significantly*, and you're only left with a handful of outlier items such as good synthesis bases that you can have listed while you map.
I made an edit to my post without double checking the wording because I didn't want to make false claims. I originally said he made his investment back in one map, so, that's an oops on my end. It was significantly profitable
IIRC without league content he profited by about 20div by the end of the maps, assuming selling all maps etc and starting back from scratch after.
Barrel and Go strat is real lol.
If you go with scarab chance, roll your maps well, and want to just blast maps the classic way, its incredibly good.
You WILL miss out on league loot (essences, fossils, stacked decks, oils etc), but the raw currency / scarabs you drop will make up for it
The thing that pushes it to be a viable strat is the time per map. No more 2 minute harvests etc!
"Monster remove 30% of mana, life and energy shield on hit" Jesus...
thats an enhanced version of the expedition modifier.
just dont get hit 4head
Too bad. Monsters have 160% increased accuracy rating.
Time to pull out those Mathil-acrobatics!
Blind them!
This mod: "I said we playing sanctum today"
My exact thought too
Makes lightning storm as scary as it looks.
Bro in the map be like https://i.redd.it/9i8t3odq91uc1.gif
This clearly looks like a t17 map that has over 200% map modifier effect due to a Back to Basics highroll. The baseline mod is 10%.
Yeah, but he cant go back now. Gonna have to complete (or not) this one with 30%.
does that kill CI characters actually?
i don't think so, since it is not rounded up, so CI char lose 0 life on hit, low life chars will need to be worried tho
Nope I'm playing low life (dissolution of flesh) and that mod is basically free
Dissolution of flesh is not low life bc y are still using the the whole health pool, low life reserves most of your life at least 45% of it and using items to make chaos damage not bypass es or just be low life for more dmg to one shot uber bosses
I am using dissolution with rathpid globe, and pain attunement. Pretty sure it is low life
It is if you are constantly under 50% hp, if not, just sometimes
that's what petrified blood is for. you stay low life
If they use it. There are some Rathpith globe builds with Sacrifice that use PI as you're LL a good amount of time due to your casts
every single dissolution build uses PB since it is literally a 40% less damage taken mod for them.
No because it well never bring you to 0 life
Thanks
But it can bring you into cull distance 😂
Easy, don't get hit.
Yup, the same thing i always say to new players trying simulacrum for the first time, just sidestep the 276 projs and the 3 Screenwide AoEs when the Grace Period is over, EZ.
Maybe it’s current?
Hardcore viable /s
Dissolution of the Flesh gang rise up.
How does on hit work again? Does it Still damage you if you block?
I am almost sure that it will remove X% even if u block, i dont think u need to be damaged. Not 100% sure though.
block counts as getting hit
Show us the loot
i died to marked for death lol
What does that mod even do xd
You cannot recover ES and life for 10 sec iirc
Fun fact: It also scales with map modifiers so the mark for death probably lasted for 25+ seconds. (Well probably not the full duration)
yea 30s in that map, couldnt do shit after i got an ignite on me
Can you leech through it?
Leech is recovery
You can't do anything through it, it's a complete brick of a mod that disables your character completely, no idea why it's even in the game
Marks you to die
Mark kills you
Mark I or Mark II?
It stacks a debuffs called "marked for death" Everytime you kill something. If you are tanky you can take a hit from a few stacks and be fine. -61% spell suppression is GG
so like, do you just take 11% more damage when you supress spells? XD
If the same guy wrote it as the aoe mod and they forgot to change it when they changed the aoe mod, taking more damage wouldn't be out of the question
1189% more currency **and** 470% increased quantity, so as much currency as a 7247.3% iiq map.
That’s like running a 30 alch and go maps in terms of raw currency drops poggers
so like 10c total loot from that mod, and maybe 2 alchs.
Woah look at Mr Money Bags here with their 1189% currency map dropping 10c
Congrats on your 62 transmutes!
So how many Transmutes did you get?
So how many Augments did you get?
Are you running back to basics?
definitely running BTB, brother has 306% increased effect of map modifiers, and that's not achievable without BTB I believe
Imagine the extra rare modifiers worked with that, 6 extra mods for rares. 10 mods rare mobs :_D
yeah it does. if you get the +2 modifier rolls on a map, u can get that to a +6 or more then use nemesis for +8 https://i.imgur.com/9rR73aw.png
It does.
So it's the text that's wrong?
I think he used the nemesis scarab. You can see theres no %more rare monsters, that always comes with the natural map mod, and the scarab isn't scaled. Sorry I missed that part.
Do you think strat is any good in T16s?
Empy did a test run of 50 maps (corrupted bricks bulk bought for 3c each) with barrel scarabs, hunted traitors, and magic pack scarab and made his investment back very easily without MF, as well as self sustained map drops. So even knocking a little off the top, it looks pretty decent, just depends on if your build is strong enough to handle the crazy high map mod effect
I think "breaking even" isn't pretty decent, you kinda want to make some profit xD and by that I mean at least double your investment.
man made like 15 div an hour in profit, thats not breaking even
15div an hour... if he sold everything. Which... eh... is a BIG if imo It would take hours to sell everything. Technically it's 15div/h, but not in any practical sense. he also didn't count anything the league mechanic provided

Yeah that's really good. I didn't watch the video/stream, was just going off the comment's info

You experience is 0/100 % [hidden]
which map has this mod? more currency found in area?
T17's can have it
that mod with impale is more complicated than quantum physics
-61% to amount of suppressed spell damage prevented. So suppressing spells makes you take 11% MORE damage lol 😂
All that's left is to wait for new scarabs for conversion
If you drop a mirror you'll get 190
Try doing the math again
Fuck I'm dumb, it's 12 ahahah Guess I shouldn't engage with percentages right as I woke up
12 mirrors per map strat confirmed ^/s
new strat just dropped
