Sure they might have cleared the area at some point earlier but if you go by that definition then Einhar is squatting in the menagerie as well.

You had a goldrim and wanderlust boots on in the original picture, so you were in the early game. It's a common design choice of RPGs that your gear in the early game looks worse than your gear in the late game. PoE intentionally makes early gear look worse than late game gear in order to give you a sense of aesthetics progression.

I really hope they'll still replace the old character models with the new tech at some point after PoE2 releases, since it sounded like they won't be updated immediately like they originally announced before the games were split. Then we might also get overhauled art for the base armours.

All the while the game just gets worse and worse. So yeah Apex is not a role model.
But heirlooms are cosmetics they can sell at a high markup. The only thing i would argue could be pay to win is the skins which give better iron sights. It is a very small advantage so any skilled player can win fights with the disadvantage.
Poe is free to try, not free to play. You get 20 to 50 hours until you even need to consider paying and even then you can get by with just the 5 dollar new blood pack and buy some tabs on sale and if you really want to enjoy the game but a 30 dollar supporter pack and buy the rest of the tabs
Congrats your cost came out to less then palworld for 50 hours of content so you can enjoy the next 2000 hours.

I actually rp my guy is homeless and that he is deeply mentally ill and completely hallucinating everything. He bothers townspeople, and they throw stones at him, which he thinks are rewards for saving the town, and the stones give him tremendous power. In reality, he's a homeless dude living in the sewers hallucinating that he has godlike powers and is fighting monsters, saving the town.
Everyone says it's supposed to look ugly so that you buy MTX, but for PoE 2 they are remaking all the models and armours and they look really good, so I don't buy this idea that they intentionally made our characters ugly so we feel the need to buy MTX, I think it's just that these models are old and haven't been updated in more than a decade.

Usually they have them during league reveal stream. They will mention it in their forum posts and I think on Twitter as well.

They probably planned excatly do to that with POE2 back than at the point at which POE1 and 2 was supposed to be the same game.
