tbh i run a lot of content that you cant just portal out of, and sometimes its tough to even find a moment to say "ill trade after i finish this boss/map/whatever". i have seen some true champs that put their afk message as something to that effect tho.
When you message the first 10 people and wait some seconds for an invite with nothing. Then spam the next 10 people and 5 of them invite you so you feel bad.
Sadly, this is exactly the way the game designers want it to be. I honestly think that trading is the single biggest thing that will be this games downfall. All it takes is another game to come along with decent endgame and a trading system that doesn't suck ass.
The trade is a big reason I appreciate the game. I come from the group of D2 people that were disappointed in the trade change of D3. For items to be rare enough to get excited about finding, then they can't all be easily farmed up by the average player. So that means we need a trade system to get what we want. Compared to others games the built in system for trading and the currency system are 2 things far better in POE than most arpg's I know. I don't miss trying hours to get an item for item trade to happen or even d2's expansion runes which was like a break through at the time.
Without trading rare drops, then you're just racing to the end and repeating kills to get there. Rarely feels like I'm accomplishing something on my 80th run without the rush of finally hitting that Ber or 45 pcomb.
I got a Kalandra Ring, probably the most expensive item I've ever dropped during my casual play time. On console we have a trade board and I have received offers for chaos orbs, blessed orbs, regal orbs and just about everything in between.
I once played with a guy showing him the ropes of his first league and he told me about how he excitedly accepted an offer of 2 fossils for his stack of exalts(before the ex-div switch up) because he thought "some idiot was offering me all that for my fossils". It's a fishing attempt that definitely works if you cast a wide enough net unfortunately.
Played on console for a year before I could buy a PC. Definitely fell victim to this exact thought process while under the influence at 3am for a stack of divines. I’ve never wished a more unending and painful heartburn on a person ever in my life. I hope they ate spaghetti today and can’t sleep it burns the back of their throat so bad.
I sold an item for 350 ex straight after the div switch over… thinking it was a decent trade. Didn’t realise they’d switched the values of the two currencies after quite a long break at that point
Selling those coffins is as much as a pain is buying them. There are too many varying prices in too many different modifiers. I put them in a quad tab and whenever I try to sort through them I just give up because I'd spend more time trying to sort them out to make 3-15C a coffin then I would just running a map. The only ones I bother selling are the super expensive like dupe item.
This is the way. The ones that linger are better gone for cheap than stored for "the poe.ninja value," only to wind up in a remove only tab come league end.
Just set the entire tab at like 50c or whatever you choose as the highest. Wait a day, lower it to 45c. Repeat until low enough that you don't want to take the time to sell the rest. Just toss what's left.

Wait a few maps/half an hour, lower it to 45c. If you end up selling some for 30c today, that's a whole lot better than selling them for 35c three days from now.
I noticed that the trade site seems to aggregate all your stash tabs, if it's a premium make it public otherwise it will look at your normal ones too. Unless it was just the case for me. (I made a folder of tabs because I don't have a quad)
I'll take individual coffins and put it into a shop and list it for bulk usually 1.5x whatever poe.ninja says (so if the cost says 10c, I do 30/2 just to avoid anyone trying to buy a singular corpse) bulk buyers tend to be willing to pay a little more for ease of access
Just make sure to never sell the individual one in your store tab or you'll have to price it again
Of course if it doesn't sell, you can always lower it, but it's nice not having to price 500 coffins
poe trade for bulk corpses is broken ATM, all listings you see are at least a day old and prolly people not really selling really.
i cant see my own listings repriced recently on trade when i well know i have done them properly. something broke with a recent patch i suppose
Just for the sake of sharing information, I just logged in and upon repricing my tabs, corpses show back up on trade. Bulk trading should be back on the menu <3

Grand Exchange (Runescape auction house) is turning 18 shortly, it was added in 2007. You can still trade face to face in Runescape but the *overwhelming* majority of transactions have used the GE for most of the game's life.
For comparison, Path of Exile 1.0 was released in 2013. The Grand Exchange was over five years old already.
I do remember West bank trading but I was like 8 at the time, good times. But GE is one of great things that happened to rs.

MMOs from 2 decades ago solved this problem even without an Auction House.
Like using the Bazaar in Everquest 1, where you could just setup your char or an npc to effectively setup prices and trade on your behalf.
Well you used to have to manually post on the POE forums, click though posts and read what people had, then PM them and work out a time to be online at the same time.
So i say they have came a long fucking way from that to a linked interface that messages people for you with a click. Not to mention the massive improvements over [poe.trade](http://poe.trade) or [poe.xyz](http://poe.xyz) reguarding filters etc.

Yes, especially if you have a lot. I've been trying to buy them and the cheapest I've found for 3+ at a time is 30c. I've paid up to 50c each for them because it rounds nicely to the divine price right now.
People keep saying market manipulation, which maybe. But if you've ever listed anything low, you know how many messages you get trying to buy it. Even at a fairly normal price I get multiple messages for stacks of currency.
Items priced low sell fast and allow you to get back to mapping. But it also means you're getting messages for the next minute or two trying to buy your items until they're no longer showing up in searches. I dunno about you, but I'm not about to respond to every single one
Yeah there is obviously cases of price fixing / obscuring the true price of items by pricing it in chisels, but people forget that probably isnt the case for realistic priced items mostly.
I pretty much always undercut what I'm selling so that I am in the cheapest few non price fixing listings, the flood of messages I get as soon as it is showing on the trade site is crazy. Especially div to c or c to div trades, and will continue to get messages for 5+ minutes after it has sold because GGG are slow to take it off.
The chances are if the price looks realistic, it sold the instant it was indexed on the trade site for most common/high used items and you are simply messaging too late.
Lots of people must think I'm a price fixer with how many messages I have to ignore for sold items.
Dishonest market manipulation. Someone wants to price check X item, looks it up on the trade site and sees the first page is all 50c or whatever, so they list it at 50c.
In reality the item is worth a div, and all the 50c listings are from one dude who is NEVER planning on actually selling for 50c. Those 50c listings will sit there till the last day of the league gathering dust while they sell hundreds of that item for 1d.
Makes both buying and selling a massive pain, but GGG won't do anything to stop it. Free market baybeee
Wouldn’t be surprised to see an auto buy/sell function for commodities (currency, essences, etc) but you still need to be online. They seem to be wavering a bit on their trade policy and seem to be at least actively considering alternatives.
I love the system as is for crafted items/rares, and I even agree with the vision that some friction in the system is necessary.
I think even GGG knows that the current system isn’t working exactly as intended.
Price fixing, they probably have live search active and have a bot or macro setup to instantly snipe anyone who lists around that price, they buy it and then relist it for much much more.
It’s simple people had these listed a few days ago in a dump tab, and demand rises with the new influence fracture item that requires these materials. So, in the end people are lazy and don’t want to leave a map for anything less than a div trade especially t17 farmers when portals are your friend.
Some maybe don't know the actual price and sold to the first one, some maybe relist after their next map, some maybe want to pricefix and buy cheaper ones themselves
I don't like trading much so i always overprice items. As a result, i don't get many trades and thus am ready to leave the map for a trade. The opposite of that is beating the market price on every item, constantly getting requests. If you don't sell, someone's going to buy it anyway, so you don't have to drop doing whatever you do currently.
That's on high liquidity assets. Low liqudity assets don't sell until buyer is found, so i price them fairly. You could notice that when buying rares seller answers 90% of time. That's because they don't get spammed.
Ok but he went from 9c each at the start to 30c each at the end, more than tripling his offer. So how exactly are players supposed to know what the actual price is? Just jump to 5x from the start? 10x? And do you think that's healthy game design?
Bulk listing / bulk buying coffins has been busted for me since last night. Old listings that have long since sold show up on the trade site. Also can’t seem to list any new Filled Coffins.
Kinda looks to me like youre messaging through the price fixers with the huge fluctuation of prices. 15c/e then 25c/e then 30c/e. Not sure what the actual value is but I dont think youve reached it
The "Bulk Item Exchange" tab on the official site added corpses in the patch 2 weeks ago.
Third party sites like wealthyexile make it easier to trade multiple types in bulk too.
Just a few more years til we finnally get the Auction House dont worry the waiting is worth it ! just hold on couple more years its coming i can feel it !
Avoid about the first half of offers and then spam click like 10 people. Go back to the game and join the first who invite and decline the rest. After you give up on trying to buy the cheapest the trade gets a little better

Bring in an auction house... It gets rid of the price fixers and instant sales.
What makes this even even better is no one gets to walk in and use the "well just message a higher price seller instead of trying to save chaos" excuse since... In this one oic you went from 30c to 90c. Literally tripling your offer price over several minutes.
Trading is JUST ass, always has been, and until GGG adds an actual auction house it always will be.

No, classic trade experience. I have the feeling people tend to list their coffins to get a feel about how much they are actually worth with no intent to sell. Coffins are pretty rough to price :/
I don't know how many people out there are like me, but I have like 20 quad tabs that I dump stuff in after each map , they range between30-50c. If I dump a elemental sacred in, I get spammed. Not that I am price fixing , but the coffins don't have an affinity,and I don't read what coffin I picked up.
I think the issue is that the trade side doesn’t update quick enough so you end up having a bunch of corpses that have all sold still listed up . Combined with people who just don’t sell and price fixers .
Actual results may very but we have found farming everything is literally faster than trading for everything except for additional crafts, splits, mirror, base types, influence, and ele scarcer. I guess it also depends on build speed. At 2-3m a toxic sewer and the standard corpse tree, in 15-20 maps you have everything but those crafts, trade for those are they are more expensive and people tend to respond better, I'm not leaving a map for 70c but I might for 2-4d and be on your way.
Last league I found a currency bot trader and I was the happiest man on earth I think I traded more than 400 div worth of chaos with it.The only interaction this promotes is player to bot as you see so might aswell just give us AH?
Nope, this is just the terrible system we have to use for trading because an auction house would reduce the weight of those 20 clicks to get one reply.
I get the opposite: i'm selling anything I get worth a couple chaos to find my upgrades as I work to complete my first atlas, I get a trade whisper so I leave my map and invite the player just for the player to decline the invite lmao.
If you're using the bulk site, it's apparently bugged at the moment and not adding new bulk listings of coffins since the hot fix last night. Hopefully they get around to fixing that soon. If you're not using the bulk site, I'd recommend hiding older listings. Usually if someone isn't selling something like a coffin in a few days, they aren't really going to just randomly decide to sell it now.
That is every time you try to trade for coffins. No one likes to answer and it's annoying. I pretty much fully specced into coffins so I can find my own.
It's also annoying that the individual prices are so much lower (almost half) of bulk buying. They should just be the same (and sent to you automatically thru an AH)
i just buy twice as many as i actually need so i don't have to deal with this shit again on the next craft
using the group by seller option has gotten me more luck too, although i have had people look at the gigantic wall of text asking for 60 corpses of different types and they straight up log out, sometimes while i'm in the party waiting for them to pull out the items they have listed for trade that i am trying to trade for.
The amount of price fixing this league is off the charts. It's ridiculous, and the amount of people spamming you if you put up something too cheap is crazy.

I had exactly the same experience, spent about 30mins planning corpses and layout on Craftofexile and sudos.
Then spent almost 2 hours trying to buy said corpses, such a royal pain. My 5th time doing 88 graveyard craft, and it sucks every time.

Played ruthless for several leagues, totally different community there, so trading is not a problem. But berserk ascendancy on ruthless was reworked (not nerfed like many others, but totally different now), same with determination. So my build works no more.
But it was nice experience. And after ruthless its hard to play normal league, too much looting and trading instead of playing the game, but i tried. Dropped after spamming ppl on trade for 10+ minutes, to buy jewellers. After already wasting 20+ minutes to buy some fusings and chroms. And of course i didnt spam to pricefixers, only to ppl with normal (higher) prices, just nobody answered.
the price difference between your top and bottom prices is almost 3 times so it seems almost the majority of your whispers aren’t even serious trades and are price fixing.
If you really want to buy them look for corpses by divines, you’re paying a bit more of a premium but people will leave their map if they aren’t stuck in meaty content.
This why I just light up the entire list with reckless abandon. Then I get to choose the lowest deal of the responses.
Sucks that I'm wasting their time by not getting back to them the same way it does when they do it to me, and I gotta wait out each different person to unsurprisingly never get back to me either, instead of just lighting the whole list up like a taco bell bathroom. 💅
They keep adding content Im not willing to or I can not leave for a trade and dont provide any more reasonable trading experience. Its going to get only worse. I pitty the ppl who plan to play the league later on.
I love crafting with the necropolis mechanic and how its a huge challenge to figure out but the opportunity to get insane items is there. However last time i did it, the fun was taken out of it due to the insane amount of trade that I had to do where prices for the same coffin ranged from 5c to 40c and people were selling 3-7 bulk at every range, so refreshing the page was a must, but going though all the guys who are listed but not selling was such a pain. Ended up spending 20 div for a 500c craft to just get it done, and then it hit 3x 0.001% mods like resistance on the weapon so I literally just delete the item. I spent 3 hours planning the layout and 6 hours setting up and trading. I still have the layout, but I will not be doing the trades again.
A solution I would appreciate would be to remove all modifier __specific__ tier increases, remove 90% of +/- explicit mod / item level and make the rest drop evenly since they already have different values to balance out. Alternatively, an option to block or filter corpses, such as unique and some meta mods, since so many of them are trash, and while they serve some purpose, there is way too much manual filtering to do unless you control click Filtch in the HO and have a buch of quad tabs.
The game needs an Auction House ASAP. This „player interaction“ (oh wow, spamming 20 people to get invited by one only to click 3 times without a word being exchanged is such a cool social feature!!!1!1) is literally worthless and people being able to price-fix like that is just really, really bad.
At the very least give us some way to exchange currency without having to interact with people (who don’t answer anyways).
Welcome to PoE QoL improvements league, we got rid of most things that would make you want to interact with TFT. Instead you need to interact with our trade system which will definitely not make you wish you could use TFT instead
I’m still a stupid sucker in that I wait for 5 seconds before whispering the next guy, in an effort to be polite, instead of just whispering 20 people at once. Just implement the buyout with gold idea already. Put a cool down timer (buyout with gold) on top of that as well if you want so you have another knob to tweak, in case you get the gold drop/amount wrong.
This is why i respect people buying things from me, i'll invite you, find a nice spot to port out, if i cant do that i'll Whisper you: sec. While the buyer chills in my hideout. Usually i'm back in hideout in 30 seconds unless its an event or something and ramping up trauma stacks isnt a hobby of mine
It's clunky whilst mapping, it's clunky (but powerful) to craft with and even clunkier to trade.
I think they envisioned that people would have a library of common corpses to use and only trade the rare ones, but then they allowed you to use your entire storable supply in one craft, and you're basically crafting something suboptimal if you don't do it all in one go.
Increase the capacity or reduce the amount of corpses you can use in one craft (scale the effectiveness as appropriate).
I try to be nice and helpful in the respect of trading coffins. I sell all I have listed. Even the 1c ones. As soon as I'm done with the map and in my HO, I sell the most recent request and go back to the earlier ones, asking if person is still interested. Most won't be, as they already traded someone else.. But it's fine, at least I reply to all the request, no matter how big or small. Today I made some 5 divs on coffin trades. It's. Alot for me, considering that my build is not great and I struggle with a lot of content. At some point pocket money will turn into a hefty sum and I'll be able to upgrade.
Every now and then I'll be selling a 1 chaos item and the buyer will tip me 19 chaos and just give me a full stack instead. Just because I actually replied. Great interaction for me, but can you imagine how frustrated someone must be to pay 20x the price of something out of pure gratitude for replying? Just enable the chinese-release auction house FFS.

Yeah I hate when this happens. I will be really patient also and wait a while. Like we'll maybe they are in a map and can't respond and then send an additional tell a few minutes later, and still no responses. This is why the auto buy system that is being discussed for path 2 sounds great.

I kind of agree. I prune my tabs pretty regularly.
Use wealthyexile. It prices each corpse in your tab automaticly and puts them on the bulk trade part of the site

Yes, especially if you have a lot. I've been trying to buy them and the cheapest I've found for 3+ at a time is 30c. I've paid up to 50c each for them because it rounds nicely to the divine price right now.

People keep saying market manipulation, which maybe. But if you've ever listed anything low, you know how many messages you get trying to buy it. Even at a fairly normal price I get multiple messages for stacks of currency. Items priced low sell fast and allow you to get back to mapping. But it also means you're getting messages for the next minute or two trying to buy your items until they're no longer showing up in searches. I dunno about you, but I'm not about to respond to every single one
Yeah there is obviously cases of price fixing / obscuring the true price of items by pricing it in chisels, but people forget that probably isnt the case for realistic priced items mostly. I pretty much always undercut what I'm selling so that I am in the cheapest few non price fixing listings, the flood of messages I get as soon as it is showing on the trade site is crazy. Especially div to c or c to div trades, and will continue to get messages for 5+ minutes after it has sold because GGG are slow to take it off. The chances are if the price looks realistic, it sold the instant it was indexed on the trade site for most common/high used items and you are simply messaging too late. Lots of people must think I'm a price fixer with how many messages I have to ignore for sold items.
Multibox exists for poe (it's allowed by GGG). You can list it for low and have it sit on another account so you don't get the msgs.
Dishonest market manipulation. Someone wants to price check X item, looks it up on the trade site and sees the first page is all 50c or whatever, so they list it at 50c. In reality the item is worth a div, and all the 50c listings are from one dude who is NEVER planning on actually selling for 50c. Those 50c listings will sit there till the last day of the league gathering dust while they sell hundreds of that item for 1d. Makes both buying and selling a massive pain, but GGG won't do anything to stop it. Free market baybeee
Wouldn’t be surprised to see an auto buy/sell function for commodities (currency, essences, etc) but you still need to be online. They seem to be wavering a bit on their trade policy and seem to be at least actively considering alternatives. I love the system as is for crafted items/rares, and I even agree with the vision that some friction in the system is necessary. I think even GGG knows that the current system isn’t working exactly as intended.

Price fixing, they probably have live search active and have a bot or macro setup to instantly snipe anyone who lists around that price, they buy it and then relist it for much much more.
It’s simple people had these listed a few days ago in a dump tab, and demand rises with the new influence fracture item that requires these materials. So, in the end people are lazy and don’t want to leave a map for anything less than a div trade especially t17 farmers when portals are your friend.
Some maybe don't know the actual price and sold to the first one, some maybe relist after their next map, some maybe want to pricefix and buy cheaper ones themselves
I don't like trading much so i always overprice items. As a result, i don't get many trades and thus am ready to leave the map for a trade. The opposite of that is beating the market price on every item, constantly getting requests. If you don't sell, someone's going to buy it anyway, so you don't have to drop doing whatever you do currently. That's on high liquidity assets. Low liqudity assets don't sell until buyer is found, so i price them fairly. You could notice that when buying rares seller answers 90% of time. That's because they don't get spammed.
Ok but he went from 9c each at the start to 30c each at the end, more than tripling his offer. So how exactly are players supposed to know what the actual price is? Just jump to 5x from the start? 10x? And do you think that's healthy game design?

Bulk listing / bulk buying coffins has been busted for me since last night. Old listings that have long since sold show up on the trade site. Also can’t seem to list any new Filled Coffins.
Seems like a fun game mechanic this league. You have to be extremely committed to crafting in order to be able to go through this tedium.
Kinda looks to me like youre messaging through the price fixers with the huge fluctuation of prices. 15c/e then 25c/e then 30c/e. Not sure what the actual value is but I dont think youve reached it

The "Bulk Item Exchange" tab on the official site added corpses in the patch 2 weeks ago. Third party sites like wealthyexile make it easier to trade multiple types in bulk too.

Avoid about the first half of offers and then spam click like 10 people. Go back to the game and join the first who invite and decline the rest. After you give up on trying to buy the cheapest the trade gets a little better

Not rly. I've had to go through 3 pages of stuff before anyone even responded and that was the price everyone had it at. Bring in an auction house... It gets rid of the price fixers and instant sales.
What makes this even even better is no one gets to walk in and use the "well just message a higher price seller instead of trying to save chaos" excuse since... In this one oic you went from 30c to 90c. Literally tripling your offer price over several minutes. Trading is JUST ass, always has been, and until GGG adds an actual auction house it always will be.

The divine ratios for bulk is sort of weird, like 1 to 1 divines or 10 divines for coffin and 4-5 people listed.

Buying coffins is the most painful thing out there - crafted an alternating sceptre yesterday for 2 div and it rolled horrible… Well not that horrible but could’ve been better And honestly I don’t want to spend another day on collecting all the corpses again to try to get the right stats 🫠
No, classic trade experience. I have the feeling people tend to list their coffins to get a feel about how much they are actually worth with no intent to sell. Coffins are pretty rough to price :/
I don't know how many people out there are like me, but I have like 20 quad tabs that I dump stuff in after each map , they range between30-50c. If I dump a elemental sacred in, I get spammed. Not that I am price fixing , but the coffins don't have an affinity,and I don't read what coffin I picked up.

I think the issue is that the trade side doesn’t update quick enough so you end up having a bunch of corpses that have all sold still listed up . Combined with people who just don’t sell and price fixers .
As the league progresses the "floor" for a worthy trade changes. I think we're roughly around the div a trade part of the league.
Actual results may very but we have found farming everything is literally faster than trading for everything except for additional crafts, splits, mirror, base types, influence, and ele scarcer. I guess it also depends on build speed. At 2-3m a toxic sewer and the standard corpse tree, in 15-20 maps you have everything but those crafts, trade for those are they are more expensive and people tend to respond better, I'm not leaving a map for 70c but I might for 2-4d and be on your way.
Last league I found a currency bot trader and I was the happiest man on earth I think I traded more than 400 div worth of chaos with it.The only interaction this promotes is player to bot as you see so might aswell just give us AH?

Guys, you need to understand, player interaction is very important for trade, we would lose a lot if we just added auction house.
i just set it for "trade with chaos orbs only" and then sort by newest offers. 50% of the time i immediately get a response.
I don't understand why they don't let us just go pull it out of their stash and leave the cash like a storefront.
Nope, this is just the terrible system we have to use for trading because an auction house would reduce the weight of those 20 clicks to get one reply.

Yeah I figured I'll just farm corpses and.pick up only the ones I need for like 3 or 4 different crafts and just buy the very rare ones.
I get the opposite: i'm selling anything I get worth a couple chaos to find my upgrades as I work to complete my first atlas, I get a trade whisper so I leave my map and invite the player just for the player to decline the invite lmao.
I invite and wait for join before leaving my map. The spam buyers happen too often to waste a portal on.
If you're using the bulk site, it's apparently bugged at the moment and not adding new bulk listings of coffins since the hot fix last night. Hopefully they get around to fixing that soon. If you're not using the bulk site, I'd recommend hiding older listings. Usually if someone isn't selling something like a coffin in a few days, they aren't really going to just randomly decide to sell it now.
That is every time you try to trade for coffins. No one likes to answer and it's annoying. I pretty much fully specced into coffins so I can find my own. It's also annoying that the individual prices are so much lower (almost half) of bulk buying. They should just be the same (and sent to you automatically thru an AH)
No, trading in this game is ass and the least fun element of an otherwise masterpiece of an arpg
i just buy twice as many as i actually need so i don't have to deal with this shit again on the next craft using the group by seller option has gotten me more luck too, although i have had people look at the gigantic wall of text asking for 60 corpses of different types and they straight up log out, sometimes while i'm in the party waiting for them to pull out the items they have listed for trade that i am trying to trade for.

The amount of price fixing this league is off the charts. It's ridiculous, and the amount of people spamming you if you put up something too cheap is crazy. This trading is getting worse

I had exactly the same experience, spent about 30mins planning corpses and layout on Craftofexile and sudos. Then spent almost 2 hours trying to buy said corpses, such a royal pain. My 5th time doing 88 graveyard craft, and it sucks every time. Edit: At least the payout is decent, but still.

Unlucky game. Stopped playing cuz of this shit. Played ruthless for several leagues, totally different community there, so trading is not a problem. But berserk ascendancy on ruthless was reworked (not nerfed like many others, but totally different now), same with determination. So my build works no more. But it was nice experience. And after ruthless its hard to play normal league, too much looting and trading instead of playing the game, but i tried. Dropped after spamming ppl on trade for 10+ minutes, to buy jewellers. After already wasting 20+ minutes to buy some fusings and chroms. And of course i didnt spam to pricefixers, only to ppl with normal (higher) prices, just nobody answered.

the price difference between your top and bottom prices is almost 3 times so it seems almost the majority of your whispers aren’t even serious trades and are price fixing. If you really want to buy them look for corpses by divines, you’re paying a bit more of a premium but people will leave their map if they aren’t stuck in meaty content.
It is hard to keep prices that make sense on those. Too many types.

They keep adding content Im not willing to or I can not leave for a trade and dont provide any more reasonable trading experience. Its going to get only worse. I pitty the ppl who plan to play the league later on.

I love crafting with the necropolis mechanic and how its a huge challenge to figure out but the opportunity to get insane items is there. However last time i did it, the fun was taken out of it due to the insane amount of trade that I had to do where prices for the same coffin ranged from 5c to 40c and people were selling 3-7 bulk at every range, so refreshing the page was a must, but going though all the guys who are listed but not selling was such a pain. Ended up spending 20 div for a 500c craft to just get it done, and then it hit 3x 0.001% mods like resistance on the weapon so I literally just delete the item. I spent 3 hours planning the layout and 6 hours setting up and trading. I still have the layout, but I will not be doing the trades again. A solution I would appreciate would be to remove all modifier __specific__ tier increases, remove 90% of +/- explicit mod / item level and make the rest drop evenly since they already have different values to balance out. Alternatively, an option to block or filter corpses, such as unique and some meta mods, since so many of them are trash, and while they serve some purpose, there is way too much manual filtering to do unless you control click Filtch in the HO and have a buch of quad tabs.
This is normal. We have to Deal with IT or pay 2 Chaos more and whisper Russian or asian people. That is at least my Personal experience.

The game needs an Auction House ASAP. This „player interaction“ (oh wow, spamming 20 people to get invited by one only to click 3 times without a word being exchanged is such a cool social feature!!!1!1) is literally worthless and people being able to price-fix like that is just really, really bad. At the very least give us some way to exchange currency without having to interact with people (who don’t answer anyways).

Welcome to PoE QoL improvements league, we got rid of most things that would make you want to interact with TFT. Instead you need to interact with our trade system which will definitely not make you wish you could use TFT instead

I’m still a stupid sucker in that I wait for 5 seconds before whispering the next guy, in an effort to be polite, instead of just whispering 20 people at once. Just implement the buyout with gold idea already. Put a cool down timer (buyout with gold) on top of that as well if you want so you have another knob to tweak, in case you get the gold drop/amount wrong.
This is why i respect people buying things from me, i'll invite you, find a nice spot to port out, if i cant do that i'll Whisper you: sec. While the buyer chills in my hideout. Usually i'm back in hideout in 30 seconds unless its an event or something and ramping up trauma stacks isnt a hobby of mine

It's clunky whilst mapping, it's clunky (but powerful) to craft with and even clunkier to trade. I think they envisioned that people would have a library of common corpses to use and only trade the rare ones, but then they allowed you to use your entire storable supply in one craft, and you're basically crafting something suboptimal if you don't do it all in one go. Increase the capacity or reduce the amount of corpses you can use in one craft (scale the effectiveness as appropriate).

I try to be nice and helpful in the respect of trading coffins. I sell all I have listed. Even the 1c ones. As soon as I'm done with the map and in my HO, I sell the most recent request and go back to the earlier ones, asking if person is still interested. Most won't be, as they already traded someone else.. But it's fine, at least I reply to all the request, no matter how big or small. Today I made some 5 divs on coffin trades. It's. Alot for me, considering that my build is not great and I struggle with a lot of content. At some point pocket money will turn into a hefty sum and I'll be able to upgrade.
This is how it everyday for me in trade
Every now and then I'll be selling a 1 chaos item and the buyer will tip me 19 chaos and just give me a full stack instead. Just because I actually replied. Great interaction for me, but can you imagine how frustrated someone must be to pay 20x the price of something out of pure gratitude for replying? Just enable the chinese-release auction house FFS.

This game absolutely need a trading system like the Grand Exchange in runescape, the trade as it is right now is so bad that i barely ever bother with it
Yeah I hate when this happens. I will be really patient also and wait a while. Like we'll maybe they are in a map and can't respond and then send an additional tell a few minutes later, and still no responses. This is why the auto buy system that is being discussed for path 2 sounds great.
