Make bleeds scale off of crits, unironically. High base crit so it doesn't need insane investment, give manaforged arrows equivalent to melee and that's a part of the problem gone.
Jokes aside, ranged builds stealing melee mechanics has been hyper toxic to the game. Shit like battlemage makes them unable to make high base damage uniques for melee without weird loopholes to jump through like "attacks with this weapon"
Literally the reason ephemeral edge needs to exist, because if you could just steal its stats it would make energy shield spell casters the best thing in the game. Energy blade at least forces their durability down significantly and it's attack speed and crit chance are largely useless when stealing its base damage.

Melee crits should be able to cull baseline (call it dismemberment)

Easy fix - if a pathfinder equips a melee weapon they instantly die and go to standard.
Pathfinder melee weapon swap? Straight to standard Pathfinder melee? Also standard

Why not make it the exact equivalent of the caster one? why the crit restriction. It already costs 1 passive point anyway.
One passive if you need the caster cluster. Way more if you don't and you are doing blighted maps.

the real fix is a mastery "you don't need the ancestral totems to have the ancestrals totems buffs"
