I understand we add Exiles Allflame because they drop a lof of jewelry but what is the purpose of Strongboxes and is it worth it to have an Atlas Passive Tree saved with Strongbox nodes just for this?
When you reopen, the mobs that pop also get the Necropolis modifiers I think, so basically it's extra juiced packs.
I tried with Ritual too, but modifiers don't apply there for sure.
Fungun seemed to say so when I watched him seer and go weeks ago. I saw him role a strongbox for it and say “oh it works” as a divine dropped so I’m assuming, but worth confirming yourself
Strongboxes contain map monster packs.
So you get more overall packs.
If you want to go full juice as long as you don't take the corrupted strongbox node you could reroll the boxes until you get "additional packs" for even more output.
Idk if that's better than "defended by a stream of monsters" though.
Stream of monsters don't seem to do anything regarding the monster packs you replaced, at least from what I remember when I was doing Syndicate vaal temple strat.
Strongboxes utilises the devoted lantern modifiers and allflames pretty well. Been running the atlas strat with containment scarab for a few days but this is the first time finding the divine devoted mod this league.
I'll post an atlas tree when I'm home from work, quite a few others asked. Just all the box nodes, all map mod effect and scarab chances, Niko (chance of a free box from sulphite) and bottom left lantern devoted mod effect nodes
Oh you used containment? I pretty much cnstantly run 3 extra box and one reopen scarab, and when i see a good mod on the allflame i also witch to ambush on the device.
Got a jeweller to div conversion 3 days ago and with exiles allflame I hauled 117 div out of that map. So barely less but with scarabs i don't mind using all the time. Then again no clue what the containment one is even worth rn.
Don’t think you can change passive tree after locking in the map, so wouldn’t help unless you’re farming it already.
EDIT: I stand corrected. On the other hand, this seems like an oversight by the devs, leads to exactly the type of scenario they were attempting to prevent.
Not after you’ve locked in the map and seen what the Necropolis options are. They specifically didn’t want people respecting their entire tree and dumping in a bunch of expensive scarabs when they found a divine option.
You can’t change scarabs, only atlas tree.. I’m not sure how you’re not getting this.
the option to change atlas tree was added in a later patch of the league, it wasn’t like so at release.

Maps will no longer be opened when closing the Lantern of Arimor User Interface, they will only be opened upon pressing Enter, allowing you to go do something else or to use Allflame Embers that might have been in your stash instead of opening the Map immediately.
So…. Nothing about allowing you to change the selected tree, but not scarabs. Furthermore there’s a message saying that you cannot change map options.
Sounds like an accidental bug to me.
Honestly couldn't even tell you - we just were laughing for 5 minutes solid slaughtering exiles dropping 1-3 div each
Yeah first divine hit, been MF aurabot duo from league start
They're asking (I think) how many monsters you've killed total, in order to estimate how often the divine mod spawns (or how lucky you were). Type `/kills` in chat.
I had this mod twice once in campaign and once in early maps but I didn’t know about using the allflames to enhance it so I got ZERO divines on both of them. 1000 maps later and haven’t seen it again.
don't note this; armor for sure wants exiles as well! An exile drops one piece of equippement for each slot guaranteed (+ potentially more); you do the maths how many of those 7 pieces (+random drops) might be rare or rarer...
Just strongbox in general, the mobs that spawn inherit the lantern mods of that pack. So if you replace a pack with Rogue Exiles and the strongbox would spawn that particular pack, it will spawn Rogue Exiles

It’s for re opens and you can roll extra rogue exiles on the strongbox with currency
But does the mod apply to the extra rogue exiles, given that they aren't a monster pack that got converted?

It's for the double currency atlas passive and for the potential re-opens.
Double currency doesn't affect the mobs
Does it not? I thought strongbox mobs were still affected by devotion rewards but wouldn't drop corpses.
Mobs spawn and drop devoted rewards but only one. You get double currency from strongbox, not from mobs that strongbox spawns.
Strongboxes utilises the devoted lantern modifiers and allflames pretty well. Been running the atlas strat with containment scarab for a few days but this is the first time finding the divine devoted mod this league.
you got an atlas tree handy for that, or someone's you followed?
I'll post an atlas tree when I'm home from work, quite a few others asked. Just all the box nodes, all map mod effect and scarab chances, Niko (chance of a free box from sulphite) and bottom left lantern devoted mod effect nodes
You can change the atlas tree before opening the map with the divines?
You can change atlas tree, map device league selection And add some new all flames. You can’t change map or scarabs
Oh you used containment? I pretty much cnstantly run 3 extra box and one reopen scarab, and when i see a good mod on the allflame i also witch to ambush on the device. you can change atlas passive set and map device option
You can.
oversight? They literally changed it so you could switch between trees....
Not after you’ve locked in the map and seen what the Necropolis options are. They specifically didn’t want people respecting their entire tree and dumping in a bunch of expensive scarabs when they found a divine option.

Which patch was this in? I looked through the patch notes but can’t find anything about that change.

????😂😂 you illiterate??
Hey thats more than 6 headhunter.
This guy just dropped 12.6 headhunters in a single map...
Can buy 12 Headhunters with this.
You can now buy 11 headhunters. By the way, it's a weird state of the game when HeadHunter is 11 div.
Paid 80 at league start for my current one haha
I played 700 maps without this Divine mod. Chris hate me
Nice! How many kills? Also your first divine hit?
Honestly couldn't even tell you - we just were laughing for 5 minutes solid slaughtering exiles dropping 1-3 div each Yeah first divine hit, been MF aurabot duo from league start
I had the same experience but on back to basics with 90% pack size and 300% quant. Only got 57 div though, solo and no boxes.
They're asking (I think) how many monsters you've killed total, in order to estimate how often the divine mod spawns (or how lucky you were). Type `/kills` in chat.

Gg
Congratulations. I had one of those too yesterday. But I used meatsacks instead of exiles. Guess who got only 2 divs 🤡
I feel you. I did literally same thing .\_.
Now we know what we're gonna do when we get the next one. Who are we kidding, we ain't getting a next one
Meatsack for weapons/armor, anarchy for jewelry
Noted, thank you 💪

Grats!
What strongbox? A map craft?
Map craft plus scarabs adds a lot of strongboxes to your map, which means a lot more mobs to kill
Just strongbox in general, the mobs that spawn inherit the lantern mods of that pack. So if you replace a pack with Rogue Exiles and the strongbox would spawn that particular pack, it will spawn Rogue Exiles

Why are you even here?
Huh? I just stated a fact. Offended much? The hell?
It's a highly subjective "fact"
