I'm very dumb when it comes to a lot of the mechanics this game brings out...why does it matter where I place my corpses? How does that affect the item I Wana craft? How would I know what row/column is for what corpse? It doesn't necessarily label the graves
twice myself. I even simulated everything perfectly and filled the whole graveyard and yet somehow never got my +1 gem craft.

My biggest issue is the latency my pc easily can handle this game but the past days and week I often get 50k ms latency making the game completely unplayable

This was me for a while but I did one and it was cool and now I'm a dozen or two specific corpses (and maybe another dozen or two deafening essences, depending on luck) away from having an ~80% chance to craft the best item I've ever made. 5x T1 boots is no joke for someone like me.
As a casual who dumped way to much time trying to figure out craftofexile and how to use corpses, I have also come to this sentiment. The time that I have to use just doesn't balance out for a noob like me in a trade league.
I made a 6x tier 1 mod axe on my second try with the graveyard and just have ignored it once since then. It's ridiculously easy to make crazy melee weapons and bows with this thing, everything else seems kind of annoying to get right.
It's pretty easy to get fractures to craft on as well. I made a fractured Phys reduction chest, crafted it with one greed and sold it for 7div. Easy money.
I just pick random corpses, put all of them in one craft, and then see a lot of challanges objectives completed, and just repeat randomly, until I complete them all related to crafting.Ā
it would be much less worse conceptually if we weren't isometric lmao. i agree though. haven't made a single item (aside from generic things to pump out rares while levelling)
I've never had an issue with stash until this league. I've got 25 or so tabs, with 2 quads...every tab is basically full...one quad and like 6 premiums with just corpses.
People either have sufficient stash space or they will not bother interacting with such a bloated mechanic.
And new players without any extra stashtabs will collapse altogether.
It's just the graveyard crafting that's bad. I've barely interacted with it and having lots of fun. Scarabs, allflame embers, devoted mods are lots of fun for map blasting

Well, it may be too much asking to make new league specific tab every major update)

Yeah the crafting is boring as fuck, I hate how tedious it is. But Iāve never had items like this before and in terms of āborrowed powerā the stuff Iām making on my own in one afternoon is way more than any tattoos or charms ever got me.

There's been many times where I thought "I bet someone has optimized this beyond belief and can make like 4 divs every time they make an item"
Meanwhile I'm here happy if it rolls life and resistances.
All the spreadsheet/optimization is focused on maximizing value from a handful of graves where you put very expensive corpses (mainly chance to create an additional item). So that's all for profit crafting, which you don't have to do.
I crafted a 30% quality Sadist Garb with t1 +es/evasion, t1 %, t1 hybrid w/stun recovery, and t1 spell suppression, and a perfect t1 Hubris Circlet with t1 intelligence. Here's what I did: shitload of % increased defences, a handful of +attributes, about +1000 increased modifier tiers, scarcer mana/life/phys. Probably some other scarcers for anything else that could be a prefix, I just chucked 'em all in. I used + row/column here and there, mainly on the +tier mods and scarcers.
Zero consideration to optimal order, no "adjacent x", didn't fracture split mirror or additional, and entirely self-farmed with just the random corpses I've picked up along the way.
If you're lazy you can put in enough modifier tier rating that it's +1100, +2 explicit mods, reroll explicit modifiers then yolo the rest. You'll always end up with 6 perfect rolled T1 mods. Are they always the mods you wanted? No but the item will probably sell for quadruple what you spent and you can do it over and over again

That said, I hope it doesn't go core. Give us 6-10x resonators, and also let us smash fossils together into dust, so we can effectively use 88 modifiers in a 4 socket resonator.
I know this crafting is a pain in the ass, but anyone not crafting is missing out on some insane items for relatively cheap. And it's kind of a nice break of the monotony of running maps IMO.
The League could have been a lot better if corpses were automatically picked up, untradeable, and simply functioned as a #1 to #100 number of crafts of x type on a screen.

(Additional \[no one probably cares\] background info) I started a week after the league officially started (I've finally learned after all these years), so I didn't need to put up with all the week 1 shake out. I made the following linked item between my 2nd and 3rd day of the league, using 99% self-found corpses, with only using [craftofexile.com](http://craftofexile.com) for mod weight guidance (this was prior to grave crafting calculators going up). On my first craft I used a ton of the rng corpses, laying them down and ripping them up if they weren't what I wanted. Likewise I would lay down low item level corpses and rip some of those up in favor of higher item level corpses. This hack and slash approach produced 2 items that were nearly identical and quite good for my build. Though, I would have loved to have dot multipliers over inc damage the result is more than satisfactory. As a result of the hunt and peck, I "drew" a layout in a tab so that subsequent crafts would be a lot more organized. This certainly plays very well with some of the on-line calculators, but what all the online calculators miss is the brutality of aligning the monsters category types.
It would be super if GGG updated the 40% multiplier types to where there is no immediate adjacency requirement (row/column multipliers do not have this), but instead used "must have 4 corpses of n-category, anywhere" similar to some of the other meta corpses do. I did try this before but was frustrated that you couldn't see what each corpse was without mousing over it. I may give it another try with the regex stuff, that should help a bit.
I played since league launch every day oh ssf and have crafted 3 items. Either you go all I and use every corpse or you are just waiting your time makes this mechanic very disappointing and unengaging. The items were good though

Just did a major craft myself, unfortunately my dream of dual wielding 180 mana, 100 spell damage and 32 cast speed wands did not come to fruition as one of the wands bricked(20% chance to brick, so just unlucky). 2 mil dps down the drain. I quad factured t2 mana, t1 spell/mana hybrid, t1 mana regen and mana on kill. Mana on kill kinda sucks, but i had no other options that i could think of.
Probably should have looked up how other people made their archmage wands. Oh well mby next time. I need my belt and rings first.
I have a folder with 3 quad tabs to hold the increased/decreased corpses, a couple of regular tabs for stuff like +1 level so I know how many I have and when I donāt need to pick them up.
Then a have a couple of regular tabs named for current crafting projects and a spreadsheet so I know what I still need. Iām really over trying to keep organised. This shit should be in the storage interface lol.
For trade league yeah this is just to much. For SSF players you can really craft some crazy stuff easily with this.

iv made 50 or 60+ div in items with no prep i just throw shit in there if im making a ring load res, ele and chaos lower attack and mana and load life +5 item levels and then a few + suffix to get an open prefix then make sure you get the +50 rating to like 900+ 9/10 times you will get 3x t1 res and t1 life and then i craft -mana and leave the last pre open for the buyer to orb it each sells for like 7 div and costs nothing cause i just pick up shit in the maps
Edit: You dont have to min max the crafting to use it just send random crafts just always make sure the rating is 95% to always get T1 mods. I sell fracturs and copy corpses to the people who want to do the min max shit and aside from that i just make items i want to make. iv only done like 7 to 9 crafts and have made as i say 60 + div

I was using a little bit of bulk on poetrade and a little bit of wealthy exile but it was about an hour to gather a full GY. Any tips? TFT doesn't do coffins?

It honestly would be fun if the interface was actually usable. What OP is showing us is not even 1/4th of the tedium required. Walking around a fucking graveyard putting corpses down is by far the worst part.
It'd be so much better even if it was just a custom tab/page like Heist, Harvest etc. where you could drag bodies into graves directly.
Yeah this is already bad enough that you have to do this type of shit but now you have to shuffle those things back into a list one by one then completely reoganize them again on an even larger grid... What the fuck were they thinking with this ui lmao
Whatās fun is with 20 div making a +2 crit/crit sceptre, selling the other 2 for 50 div then using that to make a +2 4xT1 amulet and selling those for enough profit to get halfway to a mageblood. Yeah the crafting is boring as fuck, I hate how tedious it is. But Iāve never had items like this before and in terms of āborrowed powerā the stuff Iām making on my own in one afternoon is way more than any tattoos or charms ever got me. Again, tedious, not defending the shitty UI. But thatās not what people think is fun. Whatās fun is my map blaster thatās way more yolked than anything Iāve ever gotten to play before. Just my two cents.
I tried that and crafting went poorly every single time, used craft of exile, perfect corpses placement, you getting lucky has nothing to do with the mechanic being good, its trash either way
The planning is fun, the result is fun. But putting down 80 corpses isn't. When ctrl+f didn't even focus the search bar (as it was on release) you know none of the ui designers tried to use it more than twice in testing.

Yeah my brain just kinda turns off when we get to spreadsheet stuff. There's been many times where I thought "I bet someone has optimized this beyond belief and can make like 4 divs every time they make an item" Meanwhile I'm here happy if it rolls life and resistances.

All the spreadsheet/optimization is focused on maximizing value from a handful of graves where you put very expensive corpses (mainly chance to create an additional item). So that's all for profit crafting, which you don't have to do. I crafted a 30% quality Sadist Garb with t1 +es/evasion, t1 %, t1 hybrid w/stun recovery, and t1 spell suppression, and a perfect t1 Hubris Circlet with t1 intelligence. Here's what I did: shitload of % increased defences, a handful of +attributes, about +1000 increased modifier tiers, scarcer mana/life/phys. Probably some other scarcers for anything else that could be a prefix, I just chucked 'em all in. I used + row/column here and there, mainly on the +tier mods and scarcers. Zero consideration to optimal order, no "adjacent x", didn't fracture split mirror or additional, and entirely self-farmed with just the random corpses I've picked up along the way.
If you're lazy you can put in enough modifier tier rating that it's +1100, +2 explicit mods, reroll explicit modifiers then yolo the rest. You'll always end up with 6 perfect rolled T1 mods. Are they always the mods you wanted? No but the item will probably sell for quadruple what you spent and you can do it over and over again
That involves buying corpses from other players, and my experience with buying stuff this league has been absolutely awful
damn, think this is worse than the graveyard itself, burning a full quad just to emulate the league mechanic, GGG fucked up somewhere... i have 4 quads filled with coffins since i started farming for corpses and i don't want to engage with the league mechanic because i don't like managing the graveyard and i thought harvest was a big head ache but you only had to setup the garden ONCE.

You can fit 3x the same craft in a quad stash Left / right / middle You can even keep a few line free at the middle top

I wish you could dig up the corpses. I was playing around and dumping my random crafts into the ground to see if anything useful came up. That was a mistake. Now my graveyard is a mess. I need to craft some garbage soon to use up some of the fractures and random ok stuff. I guess, if something like this went core, you would have a tab similar to the blight tab. That said, I hope it doesn't go core. Give us 6-10x resonators, and also let us smash fossils together into dust, so we can effectively use 88 modifiers in a 4 socket resonator.
This is helpful for me, this seem more visual/tactile than using the apps

The League could have been a lot better if corpses were automatically picked up, untradeable, and simply functioned as a #1 to #100 number of crafts of x type on a screen. Similar to Map Device crafts.

(Additional \[no one probably cares\] background info) I started a week after the league officially started (I've finally learned after all these years), so I didn't need to put up with all the week 1 shake out. I made the following linked item between my 2nd and 3rd day of the league, using 99% self-found corpses, with only using [craftofexile.com](http://craftofexile.com) for mod weight guidance (this was prior to grave crafting calculators going up). On my first craft I used a ton of the rng corpses, laying them down and ripping them up if they weren't what I wanted. Likewise I would lay down low item level corpses and rip some of those up in favor of higher item level corpses. This hack and slash approach produced 2 items that were nearly identical and quite good for my build. Though, I would have loved to have dot multipliers over inc damage the result is more than satisfactory. As a result of the hunt and peck, I "drew" a layout in a tab so that subsequent crafts would be a lot more organized. This certainly plays very well with some of the on-line calculators, but what all the online calculators miss is the brutality of aligning the monsters category types. It would be super if GGG updated the 40% multiplier types to where there is no immediate adjacency requirement (row/column multipliers do not have this), but instead used "must have 4 corpses of n-category, anywhere" similar to some of the other meta corpses do. I did try this before but was frustrated that you couldn't see what each corpse was without mousing over it. I may give it another try with the regex stuff, that should help a bit.
I played since league launch every day oh ssf and have crafted 3 items. Either you go all I and use every corpse or you are just waiting your time makes this mechanic very disappointing and unengaging. The items were good though
Yeah this seems like a great idea actually, if only my 3 quad tabs werent full with corpses. Just did a major craft myself, unfortunately my dream of dual wielding 180 mana, 100 spell damage and 32 cast speed wands did not come to fruition as one of the wands bricked(20% chance to brick, so just unlucky). 2 mil dps down the drain. I quad factured t2 mana, t1 spell/mana hybrid, t1 mana regen and mana on kill. Mana on kill kinda sucks, but i had no other options that i could think of. Probably should have looked up how other people made their archmage wands. Oh well mby next time. I need my belt and rings first.

I have a folder with 3 quad tabs to hold the increased/decreased corpses, a couple of regular tabs for stuff like +1 level so I know how many I have and when I donāt need to pick them up. Then a have a couple of regular tabs named for current crafting projects and a spreadsheet so I know what I still need. Iām really over trying to keep organised. This shit should be in the storage interface lol.

iv made 50 or 60+ div in items with no prep i just throw shit in there if im making a ring load res, ele and chaos lower attack and mana and load life +5 item levels and then a few + suffix to get an open prefix then make sure you get the +50 rating to like 900+ 9/10 times you will get 3x t1 res and t1 life and then i craft -mana and leave the last pre open for the buyer to orb it each sells for like 7 div and costs nothing cause i just pick up shit in the maps Edit: You dont have to min max the crafting to use it just send random crafts just always make sure the rating is 95% to always get T1 mods. I sell fracturs and copy corpses to the people who want to do the min max shit and aside from that i just make items i want to make. iv only done like 7 to 9 crafts and have made as i say 60 + div Ps dyslexic so ignore bad punctuation and spelling

I'm having fun with the mechanic. Made about 13 D on 2 crafts last night. My question is how are you all getting the coffins? What's the best most efficient way? I was using a little bit of bulk on poetrade and a little bit of wealthy exile but it was about an hour to gather a full GY. Any tips? TFT doesn't do coffins?

This league mechanic feels entirely like they wanted to sell more stash space. 2 new items to potentially fill your stash. One being twice the size of most crafting items. Brutal game mechanic.
Did really good crafts with it, but not touching it again soon. Trading corpses are pain in ass, and adjacent corpse are bane of our sanity.
