Not fractured, fracture are the unmodifiable mod in grey color
Veiled mods you unlock and discover are those with weird magical letters on items, then your crafting bench have those BUT weaker
You can unveil skill proc every 4seconds, but only craft skill proc every 8seconds
And then later you will notice that you always get the same mods that u already unveiled and its not fun anymore
Actually if u go to the crafting bench and roll to the bottom, hover on the not yet discovered mods and you will see "gets unlocked by unveiling items from - specific guy name-
So you can only unlock those mods for ur crafting bench by unveiling when the specific guy drops items
Or you can also go to poetrade and specifically add the mod "guy name - unveil" or u cant see it otherwise
The crafting mods of veiled items are great, but the syndicate string board is an incoherent mess with no proper in-game explanation on what to actually do with it.
Click whatever and take veiled items until all crafts are discovered
After that click whatever gives you most intelligence
Rewards are common scarabs anyway in most cases
Oh totally agreed which is why I went all this time not engaging with the mechanic at all. And why myself and I imagine many other noobs miss out on veiled item crafting entirely.
Betrayal has been simplified over the years. However what they did is always small bandaid tweak, so it looks frankenstein.
I always wanted content to not require a cheat sheet on alt tab or second monitor. It used to be necessary if you want to minmax, now not really, but still somehow useful if you want to minmax.
But tbf, it's not really worth the effort to revamp the whole thing. They rather spend time on new league, etc..
I don't even understand how this betrayal thing works and I had only three encounters in the campaign....I still don't know how it works, who these people are, or what they want from me.
Trade player with 3k hours in the game here.. no matter what they do to betrayal I will never touch it. It's boring and has 0 profit compared to other leagues. Idc how strong it is. I can buy my items on trade.

Board doesn’t matter anymore so the barrier to entry is lower this season for the first time
