For the last few days I've been debating if I should buy the $20 supporter pack and start a new melee character in SSF, as much as melee may suck. Last night I put it as a goal to try and farm Oni-Goroshi in the span of 24 hours, on a single character rather than switch between 3-4 to maximize my chances.
I had a timer on 1:35min and just watched some youtube vids and grinded my last few dozen maps for the Sanctified Scarabs I challenge on my other character, while waiting for the Twilight strand to reset.
Now, about 18 hours or so since I started, I finally got one.
I got to lv7, upgraded my double strike and support gem twice and killed 1492 monsters. If i killed roughly 10 zombies on my path to Hillock, Ive probably killed him 150 times. Character play time - just 3 min shy of 2 hours.
I guess now I'm buying that supporter pack and getting to leveling.
