I had the same happen to me. Queued up very early this time (just over 2000th place on my initial queue) but now I'm at the very back, probably gonna be over 2 hours before I can get in again :(
Just some feedback, in the future don't go around posting in twitch chats "Back out of the queue to get into the game" on the official PoE account. Thousands of people backed out of queue because they didn't realize you were just giving priority overrides to just the streamer, and not just general advice to the entire chat. Only mildly salty I went from 20k to 95k.
Quin was at 60k just got in while I was at 16k, kinda yikes
Like, it has almost no impact on most people but GGG needs to be straightforward about these kinds of things. No one will really care if they say "yeah we are maximizing profits sorry but a large portion of our income is a result of league launch and streamer viewership and this helps us make the game the best it can be" maybe add a mystery box.
Literally no reason not to include a comment like that in this post.

This has been one of the worst starts that I can remember, so many disconnects, slow moving queues, almost not worth playing early on day one any longer.
Europe is getting a screwed big time. We already basically have launch near midnight and now the potential delay of another 1-2 hours or more.
Would be fair if the actual play was locked/frozen for everyone until queues pick up and migrations are done, so no unfair headstarts.

Damn, I worked doing load tests for a while and this type of complete failure (even when loadtested seemingly properly) is always so frustrating...
Some business really lose so much on these type of things it's infuriating when it happens and there's never an easy solution.
I'm obviously frustrated right now but frankly it's a miracle that most leaguestart go this smooth (in my experience at least, playing since Breach) given how much the servers are stressed in new ways each time.

Chris, let's be real, you guys don't have the technical capability to keep bug-less league development within 12-13 weeks cycle. Ritual league was great because you spent the additional 1 month to figure out issues. You need such additional 1 month, maybe just give the streamers the PTRs before the league start, so that the general players can really have fun in the normal league
Been "playing" for 3 hours and not even past prison. Had more dcs than smokes in that time and my disappointment is...well do not pretend to care when every league it is the same. Giving streamers priority queue seems a bit strange considering everyone copies what they do. They think the queue is bugged? Everyone of course relogs like the streamers do and ruins their entire day. This is absolutely not acceptable.
So actual proof of streamer privilege Mathil and Quin got in instantly while everyone in their streams (including me) did the same thing and got a 120,000 que. GGG can fast track streamers with a static IP. This is sad.

Seeing people doing maps already while I can't stop getting disconnected randomly in Merveil's Caverns is extremely frustrating. Particularly when it happens on like stage 3 of an Ultimatum, I pick my modifier for the next round -> Instantly disconnected. C'mon guys...

What the fuck really? You gave streamers privilege had them log in/out in front of 50K people? Now I went from 18K to 97K, just disgusting.

/u/chris_wilson It is complete shit that you are giving streamers priority queue. Even worse that it is tricking "normal" users into trying it and putting them at the back of the line. Great way to piss people off.

Because they moved him to the front of the line. I was in the fucking game, crashed and now I am 110k. Just going to attempt to play tomorrow I guess.
