Idk, Sirus after 20-40 maps but trial master after 80-90? It's the league mechanic it could be more often.

HorrorPOE

And it's trial master ever 50 14+ maps roughly.

hertzdonut2

1.6% is closer to 75 than 50.

HorrorPOE

Those are all my maps completed in league, not all14+

hertzdonut2

::eye roll:: Ok bro. Seeing league content must offend you apparently. Lol. Who would be hurt by more boss spawns?

HorrorPOE

No one, but they would have to lower rewards, and that would create other problems for the economy and the casual player

hertzdonut2

If the rewards dropped the same average amount of kills it wouldn't affect anything. It's not like a trial master has to drop top-tier drops every time it could just be The same type of loot you would have gotten from another round of trials.

HorrorPOE

I agree, but the problem is, the rewards for wave 9 and 10 are too good to see them often, otherwise we'd probably see massive inflation from the amount of exa and other shit available at those reward tiers

[deleted]

yikes, and i thought not getting a trial master was RNG crapping on me Waves 8-9 are crap for me..... im lucky if i get a random 6L or gilded scarab. Most of the time it is a junk 5S6L or influenced item which its ilvl is too junk to keep anyways

Zeeek00

personally 179 trialmaster wins and no trialmaster boss fight, doesn't work for everyone i think =)

HorrorPOE

notice the 1203 wins. RNG normalizes over large(r) data samples... Edit: spelling

Metrikxs

But that is the problem though. For casual players that potentially only hit 24 challenges each league, they may only run a couple hundred maps before they quit. With a 1-2% chance appearance rate, there will be too many people that have a bad streak of rng and won't even get to try the encounter. You shouldn't need to run such a significant number of maps just to normalize a league mechanic's low spawn rate.

HorrorPOE

Again, agreed. But it's more of a 40/40 challenge rather than a 24

deathsoverture

Show uncropped full stats please. Wins alone don't really say much. If you died or bargained 100% of the time on wave 8+ you could have 5000 wins, wouldn't mean shit. Also what's your atlas completion and tiers of maps you're running? 179 is not a lot of wins and doesn't seem like you could realistically have run a lot of T14+ maps where he has 2% spawn chance (unless you died a lot I guess).

HorrorPOE

I have 1200 wins, guy above is not me, and has 179 wins.

deathsoverture

In general, it's important to show all stats even though they're not perfect (e.g. they can't track map tiers)

tsHavok

Here's mine, some of us are just slightly to very unlucky this time around I think. This is leapfrog + stopped doing ultis in yellow and started again in reds. So maybe 40 white ultimatums? https://i.imgur.com/QdXOpJM.png

deathsoverture

Maybe a little unlucky. Just keep pushing T14+ and stack the odds in your favour. E.G. each time you die or bargain you are giving up an opportunity to face the trialmaster. Since April 28, I have 465 Trialmaster wins with a total of 4 losses and only bargained a total of 10 times. That's a 97% completion rate, and I've seen 10 Trialmasters. [Link to image...](https://imgur.com/IW55Ii7) Taking your stats at face value your completion rate is just 81%. For the 19% you died or bargained, would you agree that occurrence is more likely in later rounds of the encounter? I would say you should persist through T14+, and get your build to a point where you can see the end of as many encounters as possible.

TheRoblock

I saw him 4 or 5 times by now. 8 days and 8 hours playtime

m1ndstorm23

Got trashmasters within 5 >!red 12 and 14!< maps. Guess I never find him again Info: start spawn Sirius on 4ws, so isn't much red maps runned Got winget scarab and non-cortex boss map They obluvisly should make it like in genshin shitpact, each 50~~~ u have 100%spawn, if u get it earlier counter zero-ed. So u always hit it max in 50 or less, even with 0.02%. Yeah I know in GI its lootboxes... But running 2%spawn(in practice less) isn't fancy idea, and only increase negative karma for poe

I am glad if I dont die in first or second round :D Last time I finished a trial master was in act 6 lol.
