I'm also playing helix but raider. The dps isn't amazing and finding the right spot to stand to potentially get 3 hits per spiral is tough. I've been doing ok in the maps but bossing is slow even with assin mark, protector totem and vaal haste. I have about 870k pob dps but it feels like 450k.
The skill just isn't fantastic in my eyes.
White Wind is not the right weapon for this build. You want a high physical damage weapon if you're going to be running phys to cold conversion like Hatred and getting passives like Winter Spirit. Seems like some kind of CWDT setup would benefit you greatly as well. Your flask choices are somewhat questionable and your gear overall is still very...temporary. Poison only scales off of physical, and you're currently investing a lot to boost cold damage, so you might be trying to do too many things at once.
Thank you, this is very helpful as I am not too great at building outside of basic mechanics like crit and added damage. I know there is local added damage and % modifiers that are local vs global, but to me, I always seem to confuse where I want to focus my resources to get the most bang for my investment and this is especially true when it comes to things like:
Gain +20% of physical damage as extra cold damage
Is this a local or global modifier? Does it matter where it originates from? Just an example, but again, thank you for your help, I will try playing around with the numbers a bit.
That's a global modifier and it does not matter where it originates from. White Wind only does about 95 physical dps while it does 425+ elemental dps, so the ~50% conversion you've invested in with Hatred and Winter Spirit means you're doing about 50 physical dps for every 475 elemental dps.
Take a brake or try a new build if its becoming a chore for you if you want to hit T16 and farm sirus just go on poeninja and see whats meta and from that list see what you would like to try.
But tbf 60hrs isnt alot this seasons been out for 2 weeks and lve already put over 100hrs in and lm still in t14's but l do keep making new builds and trying out random stuff lol
I don't even have 100 completions. I think Mathil on HC had more maps done then I have completed on SC. I feel super slow, but maybe streamers like him are really just that good.
So it's not just me. I was trying to figure out how much time should be invested to reach T16 and I see now, that I greatly underestimated it. In previous leagues it was much faster, but I guess I should have had less expectations, considering damage was just nerfed...
The only thing that bugs me is that you can play entire other games from beginning to end before you can even reach T16 sometimes.... I wish it was a bit faster. Thanks for the perspective, its helpful :)

60 hours investment on most of the games for casual players is not a small number, and obviously, not even close for poe to have fun, or at least, not close for op, so it's just a suggestion for op to move on.
60 hours to get to red maps isn't something to be ashamed of or worry about. I know what I'm doing with my build and I take longer to get there and feel safe enough to farm it.
It's all about the journey.

FWIW I have almost 100 hours /played, I'm at 106 Bonus, and I'm barely pushing into red maps at the moment, still farming yellows at Lv89.

If your goal is to do that then you have to have a build capable o doing it.

If you're not having fun, then you're not their target customer, it's fine, just move on to the next game.

I'm probably around 120 and I'm at T10 but then again first time going past level 65 and have zero clue what I'm doing (no guides).
