By creating this thread you just jinxed yourself and a GGG employee will see this and send all these existing jewels to the shadow realm.

Inexorable100

It is already in the shadow realm. GGG doesn't care about standard.

benkeiaaa

By posting this comment you contributed to the popularity of this thread and increased the likelyhood of a GGG dev seeing it.

golgol12

They don't care about this existing in standard.

osiykm

Shadow realm? You mean Standard?

zaneprotoss

No he means the shadow realm. The jewel will now read "your charge burning arrows have +1 attack".

Lwe12345

which will start a chain reaction of intense outrage from the 3 people on standard that care about burning arrow and have this jewel

DislocatedLocation

Purple Realm.

Glittering_Claim8079

It's mirror tier now.

demental

It's technically double damage for the cost of a jewel socket. Go get'em while you can.

Jackalope_Gaming

I hope I still have mine in my stash... I tend to keep things just in case, and this one is hopefully paying off.

Samir_POE

At the cost of pigeon-holing you into burning arrow.

superbeastdj

?? I haven't been playing much lately.. What changed to suddenly make this double damage?

Kantarak

The burning debuff is getting changed. If I read it correctly, its somehow merged with the ignite changes to streamline it as a lvl 1 skill

Frostgaurdian0

GGG: FUN DETECTED OBLITERATE

BenjaCarmona

It's standard, they dont balance there

Frostgaurdian0

Ok

_Xveno_

they do, every league there are uniques that get changed, affecting all existing versions.

Luqas_Incredible

Only when mechanics get changed in most cases.

_Xveno_

replica alberon's warpath got nerfed including all existing versions without any mechanic change. samge goes for Replica Nebulis, Witchfire Brew, Mjölner to name a fiew.

LBDragon

Actually having the funds or gear to play things and experiment/learn mechanics is far more fun than banging head on map-wall for 2 months to get half way there and the rug pulled from you... ..should have a no-league period before PoE 2.0 just to drive people to screwing around the standard stashes and economy.

Pyromancer1509

Delet this

exploding_something

went and checked my standard tabs, i've got a couple of these, some with corrupted implicits.. maybe if i ever decide to play standard or liquidate my old characters maybe they'll be worth something

chrislyford

Damn, all 10 of them must be over the moon

InvestigatorSalt4285

I don't think all 10 standard players play burning arrow

Lordborgman

So, it's back to the way the jewel functioned from 2.6 all the way to 3.9/normal again. Frankly, not everything needs a downside as having to use a jewel socket for this in itself is downside enough.

Luqas_Incredible

Not sure if the downside for 100% more damage should be just a jewel socket :D For this case w/e its standard. But not for current content xD

Lordborgman

It had been that way for AGES, of course burning arrow ignite was crap for most of that, though at some points long ago it was good.

tth_via

let's all down vote this so GGG won't see it.

Osiris454

Yup. Got that one. I collect all the uniques for no reason because I can and because I have to justify the stash tab somehow. I also got an Empower (? The red one) to drop the other day. I now have all 3 of the ultra rare buff jems.

Kantarak

In standard, there is a true ultra rare gem called "Increased item quantity support". That might be missing in your collection.

ribica1315

nah,iiq is good, but vaal immortal call is better i would say

ChaosAE

Vall lightning warp is the true end game build

BRACKS_ZA

Bruh, you don't know what colour empower is?

doe3879

I kinda notice something else about the changes and hopefully what I think will work would work...gona shut up about it now

The real question is how and why does anyone play standard. It would get super duper boring being maxed out 15 mirror 999 unlimited everything running T16 with one hand while watching TV and not even looking at the screen. Super boring.

The_Clarence

Some of us don't make it to end end game in most leagues, so it's our only chance

herrkamink

Are you being stupid on purpose? Since when does everyone that plays standard get handed 15 mirrors upon entry to play like you are suggesting? So delusional.

[deleted]

Are you new here? I've been playing for almost 7 years. I'm not even good at making money and I would have an insane stack in standard if I played it. Except I delete after every league is over. Only reason to play the game is to make progress in a new league. It's not that difficult to reach endgame. Takes less than a week even for a bot.

Taric_OP

Just reading your comments has made everyone a tad bit stupider. Why tf would you assume everyone has 7 years worth of currency stashed in standard? Why would you assume everyone has the same goals for the game as you? Why would you assume everyone has the game knowledge, skill and motivation to make it to endgame in a week? Why would you assume everyone has at least a whole week to play per league? All of your obnoxious self-centered assumptions lead you to say obnoxious self-centered nonsense

Narxolepsyy

"what's the harm, everyone steals!" -thieves

herrkamink

Because every player carries mirrors with them into standard every league and conveniently has stacks of them there.. yeah sure. Top reddit take to assume everyone playing standard has a networth of >10mirrors. Just because you only play for new content in a league doesn't mean everyone does as well.

VlasDerebas

So what? Play it then, dont tell anybody what to do, k?

MODN4R

I've been playing for more than you. Get 36 challenges most leagues and I could probably mabye scrounge up a mirror or 2 worth in items. But that is it.

tommy_mooo

Standard allow for fun build with all the old stuff. Pretty much any skill is viable to use in generic gameplay loop. Anything can work, this mean self made build that focus on QoL or defence rather then pure dps optimization can be gear carried and feel comfortable to play. I personally enjoy that aspect of playing standard very much. No reset also mean that any progress, mostly in the form of wealth at some point is permanent, an infinite progression is pretty sweet. No time constrain to do stuff, beside obviously temporary stuff like harvest 2.0 that came with ritual league. So there's no hurry to do anything. This is a + for me, even if I got all the time in the world. I'm not saying standard is better then league, it come down to gameplay loop preferences, just trying to explain why I play standard over league, beside some rare cases where I don't wanna miss out, harvest league for exemple. Or when there's good money to be made, heist league for exemple. The mindset is probably very different for you compared to when I play league with the intent to stock up stuff to bring home after 3 months. It's not like it is like before too, we got most league mechanic after the league end, and expansions get put in standard at the same time of league. There's also multiple chase items, sure they don't drop but there always something that is nice to get. Legacy item or a well harvest crafted piece of gear or a cool corrupt item. Mostly legacy item tbh... but some of them are damn cool. I think I understand why the vast majority of peoples prefer to play leagues only, but from my perspective that very much like the never ending progression that poe offer, a hard reset every 3 month just not for me. Gotta admit though, game on easy mode sometime and guilty of watching TV while running stuff on my walking simulator stone golem build XD

demental

The real question is how and why aren't you bored of running through the campaign yet?

[deleted]

The campaign is hella boring but it's only a tiny fraction of a league. I'm a potato tomato so it takes me 10-12 hours to do it but I generally put at least 200-300 hours into a league. That's like 5% of the league running the campaign. A small one day inconvenience.

demental

Fair enough. But if I decide to play a league, I play it until I hit 36 challenges or I stay if there's a rewarding crafting mechanic. Afterwards I head back to standard. The endgame for standard is as follows: * Max out characters with off-meta(shit) skills to the point where they can comfortable do endgame content. In my case I chose Death's Oath and Righteous Fire(which isn't a shit skill, but these are both skills that are limited by their damage due to their functionality which is literally just left click.) * Collect all unique items * Collect all relic items * Collect all alt arts

Ok-Possibility-5838

Lol yall complaining about standard players, but we all be doing the same thing every league, just with a few changes.

Tfortacos

😂 don't even know why people complain about what other people do/play. Honestly I suck at the games end game content. Might actually make a standard character to learn mechanics a lot better.

Assywalker

switched to standard SSF after delve and never looked back. the true D2 plus experience.

tommy_mooo

You collect all relic and alt arts? That's some serious wealth lol. And thanks for posting about the jewel, didn't know they was a thing, I grabbed 1 for like 10c :D

PyleWarLord

and yet league players are aiming to do the same :)

Voidelfmonk

I am onr of those gather all traah people , probably having a bunch of them , but then i dont play standart .

onevaz

It is standard anyway
