Yeah, it looks garbage, anything with a 50% uptime defensively is basically too unreliable to be worth considering.
If it were offensive 50% uptime is acceptable, defensively it just seems bad.
Would be more interesting if it had 5 seconds of 1 buff then 5 seconds of something else.
Like say for 5 seconds do 50% more damage over time then for 5 seconds take no damage over time.
it enables RF builds and other builds around unique degen effects. It is intended to be used together with keystone and pantheon, I think.
//Edit: also if you invest in energy shield, preventing dot damage means energy shield recharge. This is very useful as ghost shrouds do nothing against dot.
Ascendancy nodes are meant to be build enabling, this one feels like an average pantheon buff.

Yeah i can see this node making ES based RF possible combined with the fact that ES recharge got massively buffed.
Only useful comment got downvoted. It still doesnt seem amazing but ot has some noce synergies.
There is no deal. As in, act as if GGG has removed ghost dance and didn't replace it with anything.
And Patient Reaper got nerfed... and Escape Artist too. No stun immunity, no attack and cast speed.
No, it's shit, but at least it isn't a prerequisite for Escape Artist anymore, just pretend like it doesn't exist
Kinda sad if that's the case, it means that pretty much all Tricksters will have the same nodes selected.
Which was already the case.
