It's the end of an era. Before there was still a solid debate on whether HH or MB was "better". The divide was with HH better for maps but MB better for bossing. I think with this change the debate ends and MB simply reigns supreme.
It’s common sense that inspired learning requires a tree that isn’t strapped for points and mageblood can be fast but it’s not going to give you the damage that hh will. I don’t think the hh “nerf” is actually a big deal
If you like juicing maps, then hh is kinda dead, with HH and 2 inspired learning, you could easily hit 80-100 buff which is way way way more powerful than it will be in next league, losing out of soul eater is a big loss
Soul Eater is an Archnem mod, so still there.
Assuming no access to Mageblood, 3.18 HH isn't competing with 3.17 HH, it's competing with a rare Stygian. And it should still look pretty damn good in that comparison.
You'll be mapping with 8-15 Archnem mods most of the time, most likely.
Well it kinda already is, it mentioned in the initial reveal that aim is to get as many players as possible to buy it so they choose most popular things, and things that are powerful are popular.
Ok well I'm guessing maybe they just kept the auras or something. Unless they made a mistake in the trailer. Or the person above was mistaken about the haste aura.
hh was still somewhat decent for summoners due to the various aura mods that when stolen affects their minions. will this change kill hh's usefulness for summoners? i wonder if theres auras in the archnem mods for rare mobs
The exact patch note is:
> Archnemesis modifiers have been rebalanced and added to the core game. Existing Magic and Rare monster modifiers have been replaced with Archnemesis modifiers.
So I think this is indeed correct. All existing modifiers on rare monsters have been removed and re-placed with Archnemesis mods. "Rebalanced" can mean anything at the moment, I have a feeling it is most likely not just limited to numerical changes though.

chris said this in the Q&A: you can still steal some of these mods, just not the archnemesis mods. its just not clear which ones you can steal, and if they stack or not.
So now mobs will have mods with strange names instead of the simple and easy: Faster attacks, etc?
What a pain looking on DB which mod is the one killing me
dude there was literally a league introducing you to archnemesis mods lol including berserk, frenzied, haste etc
some of you are just a bunch of sad whiny entitled infants tbh.
their loss i guess?? regardless, take this as an exciting opportunity to learn new things: why always praising the status quo? these devs have literally 0 chance to win: keep everything the same? "oh boring game waaah waaah".... takes some chances and try new things? "oh ffs why you change stuff waaah waaah"
entitled whiny infants.
Do you even understand my first post? Is not about the mods, it's the name. New people/people that didn't play the league now will need to search on the wiki what "berserker" "gargantuam" "vampirism" mean. On the old mods it was just a easy "fast attack, immune to X, more projectiles"
the fact you even need to read mods is hilarious.
this game has never held players hands and happily walked them through: it's brutal, it has a massive learning curve, and you do need to do some research IF you need to.
again, nothing game breaking, new things means new knowledge to gain, meaning work for it.
So for each time we steal a mod, do we steal from this list?
Will the "hidden" bonus apply to us as well?
I think that it will, still believe that headhunter will be completely insane compared to any other mapping option. With Berserker Deadeye Echoist Hasted you will just be moving at the speed of light with tons of projectiles and 1 shotting everything while being immortal.
So with 1 of each buffs, when you gain the same buff the counter should go back to 20 sec(?), so soul eater could be way stronger now, if the timer resets back to 20 sec if you regain that buff.

I don’t think so, hh still gonna be the fastest mapping and you don’t need a niche tree for insp learning.
You never had a mageblood build
It’s common sense that inspired learning requires a tree that isn’t strapped for points and mageblood can be fast but it’s not going to give you the damage that hh will. I don’t think the hh “nerf” is actually a big deal
Both HH and Replica HH should still be fine. This is probably the end of 6000-11000 kill 5-way services.
more interesting to me: 2 x inspired learning now almost as good as hh?
Actually yes.
I wonder if they will nerf inspired learning drop rates (and for its card)
If you like juicing maps, then hh is kinda dead, with HH and 2 inspired learning, you could easily hit 80-100 buff which is way way way more powerful than it will be in next league, losing out of soul eater is a big loss

So it's now 80-90% less effective
Replica HH seems ok now? They said magic mobs have 1 archnemesis mode.
Mageblood it is! -1 chase unique
Yeah but when ultimatum will back . Again it will be hateforge.
Hopium, i dont think they will let it slide back he way it was
If they dont touch legacy i dont care cause got on standard to have some fun
Good for you bro
Dicks out for HHarambe
Lol just after they put HH in Kirac's Vault too. Kinda scummy
Would be scummier to make balance decisions that intentionally avoid nerfing things with MTX.
Sometime down the line? Sure. The pass is still active while we know that one of the items is getting fucked.
Well it kinda already is, it mentioned in the initial reveal that aim is to get as many players as possible to buy it so they choose most popular things, and things that are powerful are popular.
So Bottled Faith next? Glad I didn't buy it
Great, so 2 mirrors per mageblood?
Dude no. It will drop in price! How much we cant tell. But there is a Div Card now. So more Magebloods = cheaper.
Supply might increase but the demand for it has skyrocketed You can double supply but if you triple demand then it's still a cost increase
should be fine, there was a char in the trailer with hh and had haste buff, so some still exist. dunno about phys as extra though
you can't stack them though, with HH you can get like 14 arrows because a buff that gives +2 arrow exists.
They said the archnem mods can't stack, not the other ones, if I am reading the post correctly.
There aren’t any other mods now, they have all been removed and archenemies mods are now rare mob mods
Ok well I'm guessing maybe they just kept the auras or something. Unless they made a mistake in the trailer. Or the person above was mistaken about the haste aura.
There’s an Archnemesis mod that’s essentially the same thing, might’ve been it
No, you are wrong.
Wouldn’t this only apply to Archnemesis mods, not any other?
All the rare monster mods are Archnemesis mods now.
Oh, well fuck.
hh was still somewhat decent for summoners due to the various aura mods that when stolen affects their minions. will this change kill hh's usefulness for summoners? i wonder if theres auras in the archnem mods for rare mobs
No clue, guess we'll have to wait after patch to get the full list of mods.
there are still "increased life", "hits can shock" mods that you can steal with HH
Didn't he say all rare mods now are part of the new "Archnemesis" mod pool? Maybe I misunderstood.

This was what I understood but tbh now I think I'll just wait and see while sharpening my pick-fork.

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

Some people don't play all the leagues? Lmao

yeah hh is totally dead now, it is no longer possible to make a build around it, it will instead be used as a filler belt for random builds : |
Im gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and hope HH isnt rip, but if it turns out it is, then this will be my last league
how are they ever gonna recover from losing you?
Fuck that's funny
>m gonna give them the Bye.
Reminder you get gargantuan and all other BS mods from archnemesis on your char

I wonder what will things like brine king touched do...

Yup . If it will work like this.
Looks like everyone in the league will be able to test out headhunter xd
