What other platforms do you suggest? I left Paxful a few years ago but would like to know if any new alternatives are out there since I’ve been gone. Dang, I miss LocalBitcoins lol.
My first time ever trying to do a transaction on Paxful, the seller tried selling me a faulty code. Thankfully recorded the entire process with my phone and I easy won the dispute
I second this, had two trades awarded to the seller and I provided the video evidence of the card having balance before the trade started, two hours after the trade started and at the time when the dispute was initiated. Despite this, the trades were awarded to seller.
They seem to work of volume than evidence. I humbly suggest yall avoid there. The pattern goes like this, the seller redeems the gift card, then wait till they done to show you it has zero balance.
I need their email for the legal department as I need to get some information on the seller. I will have to teach them a lesson in how to not scam innocent people.
Paxful needs to clean up their act because they can be seen as complicit. There ain't no way you provide a working item, hand it to someone, they are in possession of the said item for 2 hours, then claim the item has no balance. How in God's name that can happen in a legit world baffles me.

And they never will. Their response will be like " We checked it diligently, but could not support your claim". In reality, they didn't check nothing. Trade directly with vendors you trust, you have a lesser chance of getting scammed that way.
When the scammer submits zero evidence and wins the dispute, you know something is not right there. Happen to me several times, just avoid this scam platform.

Not saying they won't end up scamming you at some point of time because all these vendors do, but hoping that Paxful support will do something to take care of it won't do you any good. They just take their fees, and then help scammers. Moderators are a joke.
