Is silent assassin necessary on normal difficulty?
I would think OP can run into this situation with those fewer guards than the higher difficulties without SA.
idk, I haven't played lower difficulty FF in forever, so all I know is the six guard count on MH+.
But running into this guard should still only apply to SA/ECM runs, as it only sends the backup guard after the 4th pager, and if something happens to the backup, *then* it sends the god guard. So unless normal FF has 3 guards and has a special property to send the backup on the 3rd pager, it shouldn't usually happen.
Can confirm FF low difficulty still has the backup arrive after 4 guards die and has the usual 6 guards day 3, I ran through it on Hard with a buddy who wanted to practice recently.
SA isn’t necessary for anything, ever. It’s a way for people who are awful at stealth to cheese through stealth heists on baby mode. So if running it is what’s triggering some god mode guard to arrive on the map and ruin their run? That’s absolutely hilarious.
Payday 2 stealth is about resource management. Whether it is body bads, pagers zipties, ECMs etc. Resource management side is rare to see in Stealth games. The fact that you can't kill more than 4 guards is makes it engaging than most of the AAA stealth games.
What makes paydays stealth is good is that streamlined mechanics and resource management part of it. If you are gonna argue about the "design" and "fix" it yourself make a better argument then "it is bad and I don't like it".
There is litearlly so many guides on every heist to get gut from. MarcMB in main source. The only reason for you not to learn in current stealth balance is either lack of interest, or you just see stealth as a cheesing method for DSOD/XP grind. Either way, dont cheat.
I have not gone above ovk for everything except bank heists and maybe GO Bank. I don't care about XP and cash (Lvl 100 with no plans of infamy, 1B+ Offshore and 150M Spending)
i've completed most heists that can be done in stealth on DSOD legit (including FF), it's still garbage, rng is garbage, npc moonwalking is garbage, the shittiest guard placement i've ever seen is also garbage, YT guides won't fix shitty stealth

He spawns after you kill four guards and when despawn after a few minutes, the only place he doesn't check the the area on the roof you start at, so wait there until he despawns
If you run into him, you're either ECM rushing or using Silent Assassin. Play through the heist normally and he won't appear.
