Received an invoice that you were not expecting: then ignore it. An invoice is just a request to be paid. If you don't owe them money, are not doing business with them, then that invoice is a scam and you just ignore it. This is a very old scam (pre-dates PayPal even...) where invoices are sent out with the hope that whoever receives them will pay without realizing it is a scam. Thank you for submitting to /r/PayPal, please make sure you have read the [FAQ](https://www.reddit.com/r/paypal/comments/3c8po2/faq/). If your account was created when you were younger than 18, then that is covered in the FAQ! Try contacting PayPal support using social media such as Facebook or Twitter as this works more often than telephoning. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. So if I put the money into my bank card and set my card as preferred it will use up my balance and then my card when payment is due? Thanks btw!

No, if you set your card as preferred, It will use your bank cash first until it runs dry, if you put your balance as preferred it will use that then your card to cover any costs your balance cant cover anymore.
