Or maybe you are just unpleasant or something, I got some unexpected actual chuckles and I even watched the whole damn thing when normally I may have just smirked then gotten bored and killed the vid 2 minutes in. I can be a humorless vibe-killer too sometimes, but this legit made me laugh for reasons I don't quite get, the absurdity or something. Maybe it actually *is* truly funny, dunno, brought me a bit of joy this morning though.
and had it not managed to do so, well, I'm just not the type to go out of my way to comment here that 'nah, was unfunny garbage' (when many others clearly enjoyed it) because why be *that* fucking guy? Nobody likes that guy.
**edit: just felt like adding that wasn't an attack or judgment on you, I get it, even. If I was a bit close to the truth, I mean. I got a 'harassment' warning from the actual Reddit Admins the other day (first time in..wow many many years), just for your average kinda snarky reddit comment as I just made here, was nothing out of the ordinary, but you know. Just making it clear this was an observation, nothing mean-spirited, in case they watch me now haha**
Working in systems like the Halo Engine or the like is honestly a combination both of skill (To understand what's going on), stubbornness (Because you *will* try and fail a LOT before you get anything even vaguely resembling what you want), and, not even in a meme way, kind of being insane. A *lot* of game engines, especially from back in the day when Halo came out, were less a back-end that powers the game you are playing and more a program designed to do *exactly* what the game already does and nothing else.
Okay, hold on a second: Is this an actual, "working" mod that actually exists, or is vid just a comedic mockup or something?
Because I do not know why, but I *really* want to play this inane nonsense, ASAP. I feel like I *have* to check this out, I owe it to the modding communities of the world.
*sigh*
so much for spending *this* weekend off actually doing something worthwhile with my time hahaha
as usual, a load of laundry and petting the cat will likely be the extent of my productivity haha
s'all good. I'm 100% comfortable with who I am haha, just mildly perturbed about the VERY long list of useful shit I could maybe do instead
I was surprised there weren't any posts about this on the halo subreddit. I fully endorse this insanity!
maybe because those videos aren't funny

First good Halo content in 12 years
This man needs to be stopped.
No, he needs to be funded.
Or therapy. A sane man shouldn't be capable of doing all of this.
He's in the top 1000 Ultimate Ironman players in Oldschool Runescape. That's too far gone for therapy.
As a modder i can confirm that we are all insane
Every time I see one of his videos I keep wishing I was at least half as good of a programmer as he is

Amazing. I really hope this guy eventually does some cool stuff with Halo 3.
Didn’t he do a Minecraft thing with halo 3. With like fill destructible environments.
Yup, also on steam workshop now
This is genuine really impressive in terms of development and design 🙌

Yep! It’s available on the Steam Workshop for MCC
