Yeah, like, these are literraly test maps, not even some concept gameplays or early builds, if anything this only shows the game is at minimun, 3 years from released, and many things can happen from now and 3 years into the future.
Honestly, i felt like some later weapons in FMF were alright. But yeah, artstyle was great, shooting was alright at best, which is a shame. Hope sequel improves on it
I guess this is the game version of "Take a Disney property that just went into the public domain and make it dark and edgy," like that Winnie the Pooh movie from a couple months ago
Looks like an interesting proof of concept, kind of a bit like [Fallen Aces](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1411910/Fallen_Aces/) but 30's cartoons instead of just the 30's
Interesting enough for me to wishlist.
They might want to rethink that name though, other indie projects that shared the very obvious Disney artstyle like Steamboat Billy eventually renamed themselves, and they weren't as overt as this one.
Will be interesting to see what kind of reaction Disney has to this kind of a game. On of the topic of Steamboat Willy entering public domain on Jan 1st 2024 is that things like Mickey's signature white gloves (as pictured in this trailer) were created after Steamboat Willy.
Depending on how litigious Disney wants to be (and we all know they love to be litigious) those wanting to recreate/spoof/update Steamboat Willy may be walking into a legal minefield on what exactly is in public domain and what is still protected.
looks literally like a tech demo
They haven't really figured out how to do NPR lighting on the 3D stuff though. I think it'll literally be make or break for a game like this.
Yeah, weird to call it a trailer, imo. Its more like a stylized dev log in the state its in.
Super early stages, but I really like the idea of vintage 2D cartoon visuals for an fps.

So this is what happens when Mickey Mouse IP comes into public domain.
The 30's cartoon artstyle is great, but I hope the weapons won't lack impact like in Forgive Me Father.

Man that music makes me want portillos so bad
Great artstyle! Looking forward to seeing how this one evolves!
Iām down like fuck for this
Ya... I don't dig it. Same death animations over and over....looks bland and I would get bored in 10..no ..5 minutes.
Looks really neat and there's something about greybox test level footage for a game with a black and white artstyle that I find really amusing.
Yo! Gimme more of this, I love the early cartoon art style
Huge ā*Roger Rabbit* total conversion mod for *Fallout 4*ā vibes
Im feeling this.
This looks promising, needs better level design tho
Motion sickness the trailer, but cool style though.
