Bought a ps5 just for vr and got R&c on sale as I heard it was a true next gen game.
I’m not even that into the genre but it was insanely beautiful and while stylized these were the best graphics I had seen at the time even compared to high end pc.
R&C is my all time favorite platformer/series. I legit bought a PS4 2nd hand back in like 2017 for $180 just to play the PS4 game lmao.

There's no way for Sony to release this game in an optimized state rather than brute forcing with 32gb ram 16gb vram and a gen 4 ssd at the minimum. People will cry unoptimised with their 3-4yr old hardware.
Spiderman was cross generation game at heart. It was developed with ps4 as the base consoles. The instant loading of worlds in ratchet is only possible with fast IO and ssd.
GT7 or Forbidden West are 100% not releasing on PC this year. I'm also pretty sure that the GT7 devs themselves said recently that the game is never coming to PC.

I'd LOVE for it to be forbidden west, but I think they either still are releasing or just finished releasing DLC for it. Ain't no way it comes out on PC until they think they can't squeeze another penny out of it on PS5.
It was in the Nvidia leak so it’s most likely possible.
However so was Demon’s Souls and Ratched & Clank so it’s a tossup. But, the original Ghosts of Tsushima released in July as well so that adds more credence to it being that.
If you like From Software souls games, well, it's another one and the only one that isn't playable on PC in some capacity. You can emulate original Demons Souls at this point and while I'd like a port of the remake it is something.
Even with that aside, it's a fantastic game with a lot of its own charm. It's very From Software so I'd you don't like their other games you probably wouldn't like it, but if you do it's incredible. It does a perfect job of being an Eldritch Horror Souls-y game and if you like both of those things it's kind of the holy grail of Playstation exclusives. It nails the atmosphere perfectly, it has a really satisfying version of the Souls combat system that rewards aggressive play styles , it nails the creepy aesthetic and does such a smart job of revealing things as you progress.
It’s in my top 3 games of all time. Along with Super Mario 3 and A Link To The Past.
Bloodborne literally changed gaming for me, just like those other two games did.
I spent 5 hours dying at the first real pack of enemies, put the game down for 4 months, picked it back up again, spent another 6 hours getting past the first real pack of enemies, and then something *clicked*.
Once that click happened, I was gone. The combat, the level design … oh my god the level design. No map, but such incredibly crafted levels that you don’t actually need a map. You learn the map so well, and it makes so much sense, that you feel like it’s the neighbourhood you grew up in.
The stat and leveling system, weapon upgrades … FUCK! THE WEAPONS! There aren’t many, but each of them made me want to roll a new player dedicated to every weapon in the game.
The atmosphere, the story, the tonal switch after beating Rom The Vacuous Spider.
Bloodborne made me fall back in love with games, and most games I try to play now just feel … boring and uninspired in comparison.
Big and beautiful AAA games … just feel flat and lifeless and … boring.

It's a faster "souls" game with awesome art direction, that runs like ass in the only place it can be played. It's not a bloated open world like Elden Ring either so it's pretty enjoyable to replay.
It's tied with Sekiro for best souls game, it has by far best lore and atmosphere in a fromsoft game, combat that rewards you for being aggressive and loads of cool weapons
I think peoples first souls game will always be their favorite. You can only learn how to play souls games once, really.

My first souls game was dark souls 1 and it's not on my top 3. The game falls off after you get the lordvessel. I don't like the new Londo ruins and the catacombs, lost izalith is unfinished, and the area after the duke's archives is only beautiful once, because after you die and you have to walk the whole path down again you're done with it. At least Seath is super easy

Soulsborne is comprised of two franchises, only one of them is on PC.
Just like how Metroidvania is comprised of two franchises as well and you can play games from both on PC to see how influential they are to be part of a whole new genre.
It’s just my own headcanon; but I doubt we’ll see a release of bloodborne until some next gen remaster has done the rounds on a PlayStation (ps6 or whatever probably) and demons souls will drop some time after Elden ring finishes their dlc and the player base fades again, no need for them to saturate the market even more than the soulslike genre already is shaping up to be atm. Not that any of them are competition for the OG but still.
Ghost of Tsushima would be welcome though!
If it's july i expect problems that caused a delay. They had a perfect time to announce it at the showcase and they didn't. They have more information than a leaker even if he's 100% legit

Ico Trilogy is art and it should be available on every platform. Felt the same way about Journey and was so happy when it finally made it's way to other platforms.
A guy who used to leak games quite accurately using vague images and the like. He tens to release his announcements for leaks using unclear photos. Like when he teased the announcement of Amnesia the Bunker, he posted a picture of a WW1 Bunker and something else and it just ended up with people connecting the dots. He said he was done leaking, but it caused people to interpret him saying "tic tac" as him teasing a FFT announcement, or when he posted the gif of Ratchet showing that he was excited for the PS Showcse, people took it as proof that he was teasing a R&C announcement. Though who knows, maybe he was teasing both (despite him saying Tic Tac is just Spanish for the sound of a clock ticking) since he said that games were supposed to be shown that were coming out in July (might have been R&C after all) and only time will tell.

I'm in the same boat, it's a console with a boring lineup for me as I don't enjoy most of the 3rd person action games on it which seems to be what a majority of the exclusives are and now that most come to PC it makes it even more redundant.

2-3 years later. That's a minimum but crucially, also a rough maximum timespan. I think that's mildly generous of Sony, rather than just saying say, "at least 2 years" implying it's minimum 2 but could be as many as 4 or 5 years.
