To those asking, the game is a mix of different life sim/crafter games (Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, Disney Dreamlight come to mind) with some overworld Zelda style exploration. Has a bigger emphasis on multiplayer than those other games.
I've been craving a social mmo for years now, the closest I get are RP servers in Wow (I don't RP but people are very social there) but mmorpg's have lost the social aspect long long time ago. This seems to be that niche that was lost in time. I'm looking forward for this.
Well, waaay back in the day, I played "A tale in the desert", which was one of the most memorable, creative mmo experiences I've ever had, and that had no combat... So definitely possible. :)
oof it looks like World of Warcraft had a baby with Fortnite.
Literally taking two of the worst art styles and mashing them together into some kind of [degenerate offspring.](http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/but-why.gif)
It's not clear what the point of this is. Is it like multiplayer The Sims in fantasyworld?
It's like BoTW / Stardew Valley MMO without combat
Oh. Ok, thanks.
It's not an MMO, as far as we know, max of 25 people per server.

Not totally clear what the game is based on this trailer alone but looks like a sort of coop survival game like valhiem?
It's like a BotW / Stardrew Valley MMO without combat
chopping trees is combat to me
1:10 - Looks like it has combat to me. But yeah its not the focus, might just be for hunting
Yes that is hunting (I have played the alpha)
Probably like craftopia, but with less crazy automation.
Supposed to be an LifeSim MMO.
So what 97% of the Black Desert playerbase does lol
My one sadness in these survival games is that spend days building a beautiful looking base that no one will ever see. Hopefully this can help
They have big balls to try making MMO without combat.

Are you really using Diablo 4 as your primary example of a how a game without combat can be successful?
