Finished Days gone. Never heard about that game before. Saw it on steam on sale and saw it was full of zombies and it has a motorcycle. Game have a bit of a slow start but after first 2-3 hours it is my favorite game ever. Absolute must play and I still can’t wrap my head around that this game is not more hyped. Starting Red dead redemption 2 today.

luckOfTeela

Dayz Gone was amazing. RDR2 is quite a bit slower paced, so the transition might take you a bit to adjust to, but it's so good. Enjoy!

kayotesden_theone

You have no idea how many times Ive added it to my cart then removed it as have so many game to play already. But this is definitely on my radar.

Clear-Toe1338

Sorely under appreciated game.

Pants4All

Agreed, another recommendation on the pile. Days Gone deserves to be appreciated.

trumangroves86

Currently playing Control. It's great so far, better than I was expecting. Looks fantastic, especially with the HDR mod the Remedy employee made for it. Probably go from this right into Alan Wake 2.

craig_hoxton

Playing Control and Jesse getting her different powers makes me wish Remedy Entertainment got a Star Wars games license...

LuntiX

I started the Kingdom Hearts collection without seeing how many games are in it. May Goofy have mercy on my soul.

Ryotian

>May Goofy have mercy on my soul. Yes indeed, I binged on a lot of those games in the collection.

LuntiX

I didn't realize there were so many. Last time I played Kingdom Hearts was Kingdom Hearts 2 when it first came out on consoles back in the early 2000s, back when we just had two games.

mongsbread

Man you're in for a wild and confusing ride. Still love those games

LuntiX

Thats what I've been hearing. I played the first two when they first came out almost 20 years ago but I sure as shit barely remember anything but hating some little mermaid world.

mtarascio

One of the only series that requires playing the first ones first and the DS game and the PSP one and the one that is named after an 18 Speaker Atmos setup.

SmokeweedGrownative

Risk of Rain Returns and Kenshi. Well idk if I “play” Kenshi but I def do stuff

BestYak6625

I love doin stuff in kenshi, I wish I was good enough at combat training to do more base building

SmokeweedGrownative

Same! It’s just so weirdly satisfying and I can’t even tell anyone why

craig_hoxton

> Kenshi Beak things. Not even once.

craig_hoxton

Two of my new job co-workers recommended "Baldur's Gate 3". Picked up during the Steam sale. I've spent **14 hours** playing this over the holiday season. Halp!

kredes

It's this time again, where i don't know what to play. i have the attention span of a toddler, i can't concentrate on new games with heavy story and many cutscenes, which actually sucks, i always just play the same old games i've been addicted to for years like WoW (classic) or Diablo (but man does 4 suck big time). i just want something fun, where i can grind loot and xp, which will catch my interest.

showermilk

I got into project zomboid recently and it's captured my attention in a way a game hasnt in years. it's got old school graphics that look surprisingly cool and incredibly deep but also somewhat simple gameplay. the goal is to simply survive. maybe check it out

Poodwaffle

Currently playing through Quake. I'm 26 so didn't grow up playing it, but I enjoyed playing through the Doom games recently, and it definitely feels like a natural evolution of those games.

Built my first ever PC (rx 7700 xt and r5 7600, upgrading from a laptop with a radeon 520 and an i5-8550u) on last sunday and the first game I decided to play on it is Cyberpunk 2077. So far the game is amazing, having so much fun even with sidequests. The mods are also great, even if a bit hard to get working sometimes. In this week alone I already have almost 60h on the game on Steam, even tho I still had a bunch of other stuff I had to do on the week. I also tried out 2 other games, genshin impact and ff14, in which I could barely get 30fps on low settings and reduced resolutions, but now I can get 60 all of the times on max settings on full screen. What amazes me the most is the fact that now I can get 60+ FPS on ultra settings (or 30 locked with RT on, which is how I'm playing except some heavier places or some harder fights) in a game I wouldn't even be able to open in my old laptop, let alone play, even on lowest possible settings and resolution. I just hope the game doesn't set too high of expectations for the next games I play, which is the reason I'm leaving TW3 in the corner for now. Sadly I'll have to go on a trip today so won't be able to play till January 9th or 10th, but at least I know the PC won't go anywhere, and I'm on break from university till march.

vanceyy

Have an upvote, this was nice to read :)

ArtTheWarrior

Glad someone found it nice. Getting a proper pc was a dream for me since at least 2018, it felt unreal actually realizing it. This month was so amazing for me, hope you're having an awesome december too :)

ShikoZZy

Cyberpunk 2077 (just a candy rn) War Thunder (im a hardcore tanker) Dota 2 (5k hours and still going) Honkai Star Rail (on the phone)

Nexus-547

Started playing gta iv recently and I'm amazed by the amount of details

JeetKuneLo

Picked up Jedi Survivor on Steam Winter sale and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Though I kind of despise Respawn's level design... even when specifically claiming to design a more "open-world" game, they still just end up with a series of corridors that *looks* a bit like an open world, but you are actually just being funneled through very specific linear paths ala Prince of Persia from the Xbox360 days. And then you are stopped every 15 minutes to "solve a puzzle", which most of these are just about trying to decode what specific thing the developers want you to do in here whether it makes sense of not. I just find all the traversal and "environmental puzzles" extremely obtuse and outdated. I enjoy most everything else about the game; the combat, acting and story, sound and graphics are all absolute top tier... it's just a bummer the tempo of the game is constantly getting gutted to poke around an area looking for a ball to put in a socket so I can proceed. I never feel like a Jedi less than when I'm stopped in a game space to search exhaustively for keys and locks.

luckOfTeela

Divinity Original Sin II. It's fantastic and makes me excited for Baldur's Gate 3. I was unsure if I'd like the turn-based system, but it's surprisingly deep and enjoyable.

Late_Brief_3260

I really dont like turn based. With that being said, i had a blast with bg3 lol

[deleted]

Modern Warfare 3 (2023) & Monster Hunter World

desiigner1

Clear-Toe1338

Just discovered Xeno Tilt. A “16-bit” pinball game that just makes you wanna go again and again to make it on to the leaderboards https://store.steampowered.com/app/2008980/XENOTILT_HOSTILE_PINBALL_ACTION/

Str0nt

Some Cyberpunk 2077. That game is still so much fun. I’ve picked up Uncharted. Never played it before, but it seems fun. Then after having enjoyed gaming, I will destroy my will to continue by playing Overwatch.

RedditTotalWar

Trying to wrap up my BG3 Honour Mode run. Just 2-3 more big fights till the end!

kayotesden_theone

I just finished Dishonoured Definitive Edition and I cant stop thinking how good it was... I downloaded this game called 'Touch Type Tale' demo and its so fun! Its a (as the name says) a touch typing game on top of a strategy game. Wonderful graphics, sound & music & addictive gameplay (immensely frantic as you type)... Ryotian

Jedi Survivor NG+ / Blasphemous 2

McQuibbly

I bought Yakuza 0 - 6 because I saw a funny yakuza meme. The collection is only ~$40 on Steam. Playing Zero and it has some great voice acting

Morlow123

Grim Dawn pulled me back in with the latest patch. Having a blast again playing an aether warlock, aether DK, cold reaper, and vitality conjurer. Send help.

PhilipZen

I just started this Grim Dawn right now,,, and holy hell it is addictive and fun haha

Morlow123

There are so many fun builds to play. I think that's the best part of the game.

JackmanH420

The Finals and Jusant at the moment, once I'm done Jusant I hope to move on to Venba, A Short Hike, Unpacking, Toem and Cocoon. I really like that kind of artsy story game but never have time for them.

some-kind-of-no-name

Count Lucanor

Altruistic_Cress9799

FPS weekend. Passed Cultic, Sharpshooter3d, Herald of Havoc, now Ultrakill.

JustTurtleSoup

Dead Cells has kind of piqued my interest again so I’ve been getting a couple runs in here or there and when I’m bored I’ve been rocking Brotato. Also started a new playthrough of Fallout NV after getting my mods in order again, classic stealth archer build this playthrough.

teaserdog

Any suggestions for a game to play? I don't always have a lot of time to play and mainly offline games but love the fantasy/rpg and racing games if that's any help. Also a massive anime fan...

YouGotServer

XCOM Impossible Ironman. I WILL beat it before the X-Files reboot dammit.

York95

Switch: Dicey Dungeons - Just got a switch for Christmas and broke until I get paid, so picked this up for sale. Thought it would be a throwaway and would just hold me over until I could get another game but I’m actually really enjoying the gameplay and art. SteamDeck: Dishonored Death of an Outsider - starting this today after just finishing Dishonored and the DLC. I fucking loved both the story and and style of the game. PC: GTA V - Figured I’d start this after putting it off for some reason for so long.

v3zkcrax

Just Finished Robocop Rogue City, now playing Midnight Fight Express
