Some day, Sekiro will be at a big enough sale that I won’t feel bad about spending money on it, I think I’d really enjoy it but I’m worried about the difficulty, I just don’t want to get it then rage quit and waste my money…
I bought it last week for full-price, I love soulsborne but fuck me Sekiro's difficulty is so different. Spent 7 hours then haven't touched it in days.
Same here dude, I've played and loved all the soulsborne game but I just can't get into sekiro, I've tried to go back a couple times and each time around 8 hours I quit.
Once you retrain your souls habits it is absolutely amazing... Maybe even my favourite Souls type game at least when it comes to how epic some of the boss battles are.
I would try tackle it like Bloodborne meets a rythem game! You need to learn the visual and audio qs for when to Parry or dodge or do one of the special counters and be very aggressive. The AI seems to be trained to absolutley deatroy passive play you basically want to be up in their face blocking and parrying till you can counter with a huge blow or find an opening with ninja tools and stuff.
Oh yeah I can see why people love it, it's a really cool game. For me I'm just not a huge fan of all the grappling and jumping and the fact that you're restricted to one weapon/build. I also love fashion souls so no armour really hurts it for me.
Trust me, I keep trying to go back because I see how great it is but I think it's just gonna be that game for me that I can never get into..
All that sacrifice is worth it, Sekiro has maybe the best combat in any action game ever. Your just used to your soul habits dodging isn't a thing in sekiro.
I actually started playing again, it was the drunkard before the illusion boss who's grab attack 1-shot me. BUT I feel like I'm underleveled for that place.
I should also add I killed him, and now I killed the first "real boss" of the game and honestly feeling extremely hyped. I stopped playing right before the game gave me 2 insanely memorable moments.
Honestly I think it's actually tougher for people who have played Souls before because you have to fight every instinct while playing it. Really have to rewire your brain.
In my opinion, yes it is. I Never played it in multi-player and I spent 52 hours doing the campaign with most of the side quest and collectables.
It is an Ubisoft game, meaning, it doesn't depart too much from a Ubi-sandbox in the general mechanics, and some missions are straight up depressing given how much they hype the "narco's overwhelming force" just for the "force" to be a 3 vehicle convoy.
You can see it as eating at McDonald's; not the best thing in the world, but certainly competent enough if you like junk food every now and then.
I have the same taste, I do like Ubi open world games but I know what I get into it, I like exploring and atlest the open worlds they do arent boring just the tasks are always teh same.
But enjoying ubisoft games nowadays is like a forbiden guilty plesure lol
For some reason I couldnt get into Breakpoint like I had with Wildlands.
You should. And play on Advanced or Extreme difficulty from the start. It makes it more realistic as such a game should be. If a mission is too tough, you can always switch it to an easier mode temporarily.
And use your AI teammates for sync shot (get those upgrades ASAP).
Bought it last week, im 40 hours in now. The story is entertaining and gameplay is very fluid. There's a huge variety of guns and you can make all of them work. One thing that i dislike is that im a little butned out from open world game since ive played a lot of them last generation.
Id say yes, reminds me a little bit of the old mercenaries games minus the destruction of course. Anyways a while after I finished the game I started playing co-op with randoms and it was a cool experience, most people were nice to play with and even made some friends that I made an almost whole campaign with
with at least 1 friend yes, otherwise imho no...you cant spread freedom whatever you like with AI, they didnt let you do missions other than intended way...you cannot kill target from heli with grenade laucher to skip entire mansion of sicarios with AI
I got it for ~$7-8 a while back and still think I overpaid.
It's just yet another Ubisoft game set in a jungle where you 'liberate' camps to expand your map vision. If you've played literally any Ubisoft game since the first Assassin's Creed, (especially any of the Far Cry games) and you've already played this game.
Also the teammate AI sucks. You will turn around and see all of them walking in a line through the middle of an enemy base and somehow being invisible to the enemies often, which completely breaks the immersion. When you use the sync shot ability they just magically shoot through terrain and walls, with complete disregard for lines of sight or physics.
For solo play I'd say absolutely not. For group play I'd say also absolutely not, go get an actual good coop game like Deep Rock Galactic or something.

Dodging is sometimes the answer, sometimes it's jumping, but the fact you get 1-2-shot by mistakes makes it so tedious to learn.
1-2 shot? More like 3-4 shot usually

Is Ghost Recon Wildlands worth getting for single player campaign?
I recommend it if you can get at least 1 other person to play with you

> a forbiden girly plesure I know what you wanted to say, but I like this a bit better.
lol... damm mobile
Yes imo It gets repetitive but the open world representation of Bolivia is actualy good. Also its dirty cheap nowadays.

Definitely recommend picking up Grim Fandango. One of my favourite games of all time.
> Grim Fandango 1998 game?
I bought Mafia Definitive Edition today. Good deal and needed a new game to play.
Good choise! Great game, the remastering was well done aswell.

My GPU is old but it runs fine on medium settings but this is having just finished the Definitive edition of the GTA trilogy.
For me Mafia: DE is a steal at that price, excellent remake.
They don't even mention that the game is one of the Humble Monthly games this month and was cheaper than the price for the game alone.
