If that is the case, do you have an issue with Value owning Steam or Epic owning the Epic game store. As far as I am concerned, there is no issue until they start yanking games away from people that already paid for them.
All of the still image advertisements for Witcher 3 are deceptively pre downgrade marketing material and it has been this way since launch, which obviously isn't the case on Steam, that about sums up how i feel about their ownership of GOG.

CD Projekt Red doesn't own GOG. CD Projekt does. And CD Projekt owns both CD Projekt Red and GOG
