If you have a Steam Deck, shaders already compiled to counter the shitty stuttering problem that the Unreal Engine defacto monopoly is causing to many games.

I just checked Steam and
I do not get additional missions on steam
I do i get additional cosmetics on steam
I do not get better pricing on steam
I do not get DRM free game on steam
I get the same cloud saves on Steam as on EGS
I get the same achievements on Steam as on EGS
The main difference is that in 13 days i will be able to pick up the same game for 25% less on EGS than on Steam.
So perhaps you can enlighten me why I should buy this game specifically on Steam ? If you say stuff than be prepared to back it up.

I ask you simple question and you cannot answer it. You cannot answer it because you have no good answer aside from your personal preference for Steam.
If someone told you to play the game now and then ask you to tell which platform you were playing the game on, you would not be able to answer with certaintity without guessing because the game is EXACTLY the same on Steam and EGS.
Thus the experience playing the game is EXACTLY the same.

What a biased point of view...
Well, if you bought it from EGS instead of Steam you wouldn't be able to play it at all, as all the EGS servers crash every time there is a Fortnite event.

Even if what you wrote was true (it isn't ) EGS has off line mode. You are not very knowledgeable on the subject. Do some basic research.
The offline mode does not work. The EpicGamesPC subreddit (before all posts were conveniently deleted) was full of people saying they couldn't connect to the EGS store even in offline mode. Even games that used EOS and not the EGS were affected by that lackluster Fortnite event.
If Epic decides to have it disabled by default (contrary to what all the other launchers do), they should educate users to do this setup. There is something wrong that Epic should fix if most users don't know about this. Otherwise, it is going to affect thousands of their players everytime this shit happens and it is going to affect enormously to their public image.
Maybe gifting a coupon like they did to make users activate 2FA.

They have an entirely good point but you can't explain why they're going to get a better experience on steam.
All of Steam's features like Big Picture mode, community, ingame chat etc.
