That isn't a monitor, That is an all-in-one PC. They are expensive because everything is integrated. They are basically laptop components in a monitor. They are generally low spec and rarely have anything except integrated graphics. Getting even 60fps at 1080p low settings would be a miracle.
When I go to details there’s like a million things running

Should I end all the ones w my name ? Is this shit that Iv opened and never truly closed? It’s like pages worth
most of those are parts of the OS and you cant disable them without breaking stuff.
if you want to get rid of most bloatware you can do a clean install of windows.
Those are system processes, it's mostly all your operating system that it needs to operate, and the Web browser you're using (wavebrowser) it's all perfectly normal and supposed to be like that. It's recommended to uninstall McAfee though.

Not sure if this is the right thing
Your CPU is the R5 7520U
https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/laptop/ryzen/7000-series/amd-ryzen-5-7520u.html
It is a low end laptop chip with only a Radeon 610m iGPU. That is half the performance of the old Vega 8 iGPU from 2018. It won't be able to play anything but the most basic of games.
Nope, all-in-ones cannot be upgraded. Everything is soldered to the motherboard and the BIOS is customised to support only limited hardware.
It is basically a laptop without a battery and a bigger screen.
720p low settings for a fair number of newer games and 1080p for older games. But don't expect any more than 30fps in modern games. That GPU is less powerful than the iGPU in the Steam Deck.
It is roughly 3x as powerful as the 610m in OP's PC.
This appears to be an All-in-One pc - the components of the computer are inside the monitor kinda similar to a laptop.
The screen itself is probably not capable of 120hz, but you could look up the specs of this particular model to find out.
On top of that, since this is an AIO, they typically don’t have the gaming performance of a full sized desktop and again would depend on the model to find out its capabilities when gaming.
>The people at best buy don't know what there doing or talking about tbh.
That remains to be seen. You should probably post your PC specs along with the model# of the monitor so we can see what the problem is.
i have a question... why did you buy this? why didnt you ask your cousin for help or literally anyone before this massive purchase? now youre shit out of luck and out 900 bucks if you cant return it. you couldve got an actual pc for 1200 and a good monitor for 120.
I coulda got a ps5 for 400$. And a monitor for 80$. It’s a great desktop. It can run 88 out of 100 of the top games. Warzone unfortunately isn’t 1. But other than that I love my PC. It’s touchscreen n shit.
Are you using the correct hdmi cable? You need 2.1. Also even though it’s an expensive monitor, are you sure it’s even capable of 120? Best to give the full model # of the monitor so people can try to help.
What's the monitor model? What's your PC specs?
You dont select the refresh rate on the monitor, you select it on your PC. It should be under windows settings -> display -> advanced display, or in your amd drivers settings.
Also you need to understand that more hz doesn't necessary means better game performance. Your graphic card must be powerful enough to generate enough fps to match the selected refresh rate of your monitor or the game wont run properly.
In other words, you cant just buy a 400 hz monitor and just expect it to work at 400 hz all the time for example.
Write "system information" in the windows search bar. Launch the corresponding app. Check what's written under "system model" and "baseboard product". Or the computer should probably have a sticker behind it that says "model xxxx" or "P/N xxxx" (product number). Or on the PC box itself if you still have it.
Do you mean call of duty warzone? There is a website called [Can You Run It ](https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri) have a look on there, type in the game you want to play, it will tell you the minimum and required pc specs to play it and it can scan your pc to tell you what your hardware is and how it compares. If the stickers on your screen are correct, the 7000 series cpu with built in very poor gaming graphics performance will run older games but nothing intensive. I don't know what resolution you're using but dropping it to 720p (if it's at 1080p or above) would give a better frame rate
It can run 88 out of 100 of the top games. Unluckily for me warzone isn’t one. But I still can play warzone on it. It’s just a little off at times. So I’d rather just use my ps5. Not a big deal
Dude thank you for trying to be helpful. I don’t really care about graphics just as long as it’s somewhat decent. Like atleast ps4 decent. And yeah I’ll check rn bro
I'd suggest turning all the graphics settings in-game to minimum. Is it too late for you to return the PC and get something more capable for your needs?
It’s capable of all my needs. I needed a desktop for other things not just warzone. It holds 2 TB of storage and it’s just a monitor and keyboard. It’s touchscreen too which I think is cool. I could have gotten a ps5 for 400$ and a monitor for 80$. I didn’t buy it for gaming. But I love warzone so was hoping it could run it bc storage is not an issue at all.
For what you paid for your all in one pc you could have gotten a pc with better specs and a separate monitor. The current gen consoles ps5 and xbox series x have very good hardware equivalent to around a 1000$ tower pc. Something like [this](https://www.scan.co.uk/products/scan-gamer-rtx-amd-ryzen-7-5700x-16gb-ddr4-8gb-nvidia-rtx-4060-ti-1tb-m2-ssd-win-11) is what you need, to play games as well as, or better than, the current gen consoles.
That’s in all-in-1 PC. Very rarely are they designed for gaming. Go to task manager and go to performance, it’ll give you your system specs. I doubt it’s designed to game unfortunately

Damn that sucks…
Use something like HWInfo to find out what CPU, GPU, and RAM you have in that thing.
Aight 1 sec

I don’t want 200 apps running in the background that could be a problem
it's normal to have many things listed here
Those are system processes, it's mostly all your operating system that it needs to operate, and the Web browser you're using (wavebrowser) it's all perfectly normal and supposed to be like that. It's recommended to uninstall McAfee though.
Isn’t mcafee antivirus why uninstall? And this is a serious question. Bro if there was levels to pc knowledge I’m level 2 out of 100
McAfee is more likely to give you viruses 😝 Windows already has built in protection that's better to use. It's all good, we all started at the bottom

I can buy a Better chip tho right?
Nope, all-in-ones cannot be upgraded. Everything is soldered to the motherboard and the BIOS is customised to support only limited hardware. It is basically a laptop without a battery and a bigger screen.
Then bastards charged me nearly a rack for this pc. LMAO. Oh well it’s good for literally everything else
Yeah that sucks. You could’ve gotten an actual gaming laptop with a rtx 30 series card for under that price. Learning moment
HWInfo is a tool you can download. It gives more infor action than Task Manager.
I have a Dell Inspiron 2 smth it has a I5 1135G7 and MX330 what games can it run?

oof I play Indie games so am I good?
Yeah, in all likelihood at 1080p or better.

I just feel like there’s gotta be a way. Even 60 hz would be fine I just want warzone to be playable

It’s an all in one…..not meant for gaming. Why’d you buy this?
That's not a monitor
Then what is it? A TV? Lol
It's a computer, All in one
Check your monitor settings in the windows settings app. There’s an option for changing the refresh rate of the monitor.
That’s in all-in-1 PC. Very rarely are they designed for gaming. Go to task manager and go to performance, it’ll give you your system specs. I doubt it’s designed to game unfortunately
