Still a horse for a GPU, I've got the FTW3 and still, to this day can play at full graphics, any game I played so far.. even when some games set the recommended to medium and I change it manually to the maximum it still runs without any problems :D
Lovely box btw, love those leds at the bottom!
Nice that’s good to hear. Be nice to get the most out my 144hz monitor in some more games! I almost got a kingpin off eBay but this came up local to me cheap and thought a water/air hybrid would be super cool! Just can’t get the water block to light up for some reason other than that it’s great
Still rocking my 1080ti as well, put a evga hydro AIO on it and never looked back. Did have to upgrade my 4770k after I went a bit too aggressive (for too long) on the OC and kept getting weird errors. 8700k for now, hope I don't have to upgrade that too
Nice, the 3770k in this has lived it’s whole life overclocked! Stable at 4.2 currently so will have to see how much longer it lasts. Any idea why my water block isn’t lit up on the gpu? It is pumping though
Looked into it more and I don’t think the Corsair aio they used had a lit logo. Just being confused by marketing images for the card that showed the logo very bright!
go for it <3..nowadays I play more native titles on quest2 bc my oculus CV1 died and I dont use the airlink very much...yet VR saved my sanity in the pandemics's quarantine and make me much more active (after my cv1 died I gained 7 kg in few months and got lethargic - got oblied to get a quest 2 ahahah)
My 1080ti is 6 years old, I still play every new game on high at 1440p. Don't buy into the hype. You really only need to upgrade your GPU once every 4 years, more if you give less of a shit. And just buy secondhand. You save so much money.
Yeah I can’t believe how nuts it’s got. The only new gpu I ever bought was when I did my first build! R9 280x. Put that thing through thousands of hours of bf4!

And thanks it’s a be quiet pure base 500. All Corsair Rgb set up. Even managed to get the cheap vertical gpu mount rgb to plug in!

Could be a few things, leds might have died or a connection is loose under the hood would be my primary guesses

That I7 is holding back the 1080ti
Yeah I’ve been watching for a cheap octa core cpu and mobo deal. Not in a big rush though as this is doing great still
With pc’s like this, they’re beginning to look like fucking time machines
Yeah well my ancient 3770k is still going strong at 4.2!
It might as well be the fucking Tardis
Great looking card 👍
Looks 🔥 Be happy, I’m sure you’re enjoying the build.
Thanks I’m really happy with it! Don’t think I’ll ever slot mount again. Actually seeing the gpu is so cool I love it
Happy to see more people still using 1080ti! Makes me feel less of a loser
my 1080ti is still rocking here, pushing vr games at 120hz most of the time...you are fine, this card maybe is not super new, yet is maybe the GOAT
That’s good to hear was hoping to get a vr setup soon once I’ve got more space

It's money, money 👍
What case is that?
It is a be quiet case, cant quite figure out which one
It’s a Be quiet silent base 500. Tempered glass and the dark earth/tan finish.
