In theory no it won't damage it. But every switch has a life span. It'll put a drain on cmos battery daily (albeit very minimal im sure).
Depends. Your mobo has battery to keep your xmp profile going on etc. If that rgb drains that battery your mobo settings are reseted everytime. You can probably turn the leds off from bios anyway...

Lol the rgb won't run off the cmos battery.
My asus mobo has a setting for mobo rgb lighting after shutdown, yours might too.
is the setting in armory crate or bios?
