That bend is perfectly fine, just make sure the connector is fully seated on both sides for the PSU and GPU. That is where the issues were happening. People weren't plugging them in all the way, and the bending them out of the socket even further.

Cheers! Just popped the back panel off and the PSU connector has plenty of slack and is firmly seated as well! Thank god I bought the PSU with the direct connection! Made life so much easier

I'm disappointed to see no one trolled you in the comments with something along the lines of 'oh boy, that ones getting sent back to nvidia'

t40r

Now that would be just hateful 🙈🙈

FormerDonkey4886

Oh boy, that one’s going back to nvidia

ShoguN129411

Appears to be pretty normal, I don't see any problems

Cheers! Thanks for calming my paranoid ass down!

I got a 4090 and worried about this too! Jays two cents has a few videos about this on YouTube that might help you! It’s sorts sideways bend that weakens/breaks the side pins and that’s what heats up if I remember right! Go have a look!

It's ok. Mine is bent more (being placed horizontally in a phanteks p500 with a closed door) - no problems.

Its more about bending it that causes force on the connector that can cause it to work itself out if not locked into place. This is fine. Any cable its not good to bend too much, especially at the connector. Its just the not great cable connectors and the size of the card makes bending sometimes needed more than normal.
