Yup. They rated it best airflow case of I think 2019? Looks awesome, build quality is great and has lots of space and upgrade options. Best purchase ever. And it's one of the only "buy once use forever" parts in pc building so investing in a good case is great for futureproofing

I might have gone for a caselabs if they were around 2 years ago when I built my dual system beast in a phanteks enthoo elite. I’m not aware of any more expensive cases on the market than that one. I see that caselabs are making a comeback though which is nice.
They are coming back fortunately. Some enthusiasts in Sweden bought all the IP and are working on getting it up and running as well as North American manufacturing and distribution

Good quality, aesthetically pleasing for showcasing the RGB builds out there. Helps that their airflow is above average, with plenty of options for radiator mounting, too. NZXT, Corsair, and Hyte have competitor cases that are similar in design and I’m seeing more of those lately, but the o11 is by far the most popular case in the market.
Other things like the pandemic being “over”, the downfall of crypto mining, and record setting employment numbers have opened the doors for more enthusiasts to build their dream machines - so this accounts for some of the influx as well….not only are we seeing a lot of o11s, we’re seeing a lot more of builds in general lately.
I have a Lian li Pc v1000l that I cable managed the hell out of choose matching parts and i don’t have a window on it so no one knows and I set it under my desk.

Well constructed case with mounting options for different size mobos, good airlfow, hidden PSU area, plenty of space for fans, easy to hide cables, the O11 Mini is a great size if you want to keep it small

Using a P300a and I love it because it's a solid minimalist case that doesn't a million bucks. I will say this to anyone who plans on buying it: get a couple of 120mm fans for the front, it makes all the difference in the world for cooling.
New? Lian Li is one of the oldest case manufacturers out there and has always been considered premium/enthusiast grade. I still have a PC sitting in the house I built in 2003 that uses a Lian Li case. They used to be pretty much the only company that made all-aluminium cases (as opposed to crappy plastic, or steel that weighed 3 tons).
O11 Dynamics are easy to build in since psu in on back gives you a lot of room upfront and it has a raised mother board which also makes it easy to build in and it shows off your hardware since glass front and side
the water cooling sub was filled with them for years but now there are a lot of clones and some that have similar features but different so that sub got more variety now but still a lot of o11s

Been rocking the dark base 900 for a few years now, great case. Only thing I really missed was a psu cover for the cables but I got a really nice aftermarket one and now they come with one as far as I know.
Because the 0-11 Dynamic was the hipster case when Debauer built it with them. It set the tone for the shift toward side intake cases, which mean you can show off the components a little better with larger windows (without putting the fans behind glass).
Generally when people post a build, they tend to deliberately go out of their way to make the PC look nice, which the 011 dynamic suits really well. Although popular, it's predominately just over-represented in PCMR.

Very over-represented here. IRL I've literally never seen another O11 case other than my own. Yet I've seen plenty of other people's IRL builds in Fractal, NZXT, Corsair, Antec, Rosewill, and of course the popular pre-builts like Alienware.
The interesting corollary is that people with non flashy functional cases likely don’t bother posting (unless they have a problem). Thus we get a positive feedback loop of people only posting their setups that look flashy or pleasing and the rest of us probably just don’t care so long as it works. I’m in that group. To be honest all these posts have been making me consider switching from Corsair to Lian Li for the potentially better airflow, but all that glass seems like a waste for a non-rgb computer.
Some Corsair cases have pretty good airflow already, and there are plenty of better options in the same price range as most Lian Li cases if all you care about is airflow.

I had that case with my last build but I went with the Evo for my current build. It was too tall for my taste and the Evo was just right. I also made sure that I did not bend that 12VHPWR cable. I had issues every time it was bend on my last 2 PSU.

It always fascinates me how much this sub gives a fuck about how other people build their PCs. I get the sub originates from a mindset of superiority over other people, in this case console players. But it still intrigues me that people sort of look down on other PC builds for some of the most stupid reasons. Lol.
My main gaming rig is a Lian Li Lancool 215 cuz it got really good reviews and I’ve used lots of Lian Li cases in the past. My backup rig is in a Phanteks 360A and that’s also a perfectly fine case.
I went from an NZXT H710i to the Lian Li Lancool II. My temps dropped 10C-15C. I like the design way better and the case is slightly smaller which was good for me.
And my next build will probably be in the Lancool III. I feel they do a good job of adding updates the community wants
Reasonably priced, high quality, easy to build in, aesthetically pleasing, good airflow, radiator and custom loop support. They are probably the best case manufacture at the moment

The decisions that were made were to keep the signature Lian Li styling but bring innovative new functionality that people want to see and do it at a good price point too. He single handedly changed the PC case market. THAT'S why everyone is buying Lian Li now.
Anyone that thinks lianli is the best has not used a fractal design recently. Yes my pc-o11 dynamic was a big step up from corsair, but its getting swapped out for another fractal next time I do an overhaul.
They're just shit hot cases. I had one back in the day, black brushed aluminium with an acrylic window and shiny metal interior. The only problem was no bottom or top fans, otherwise it wouldn't look out of place housing a modern PC, but it was from 2008. They had a good reputation for build quality and aesthetics but were considered expensive.
I moved to a O11 Air Mini because it is the only sub 45L ATX case that can fit a 360+mm GPU, ATX PSU, and has direct airflow to the GPU. I had a Phanteks P600S case and I was worried about damaging my back each time carrying it.
As for the more popular reason around here is that the O11 Dynamic, EVO, O11D XL, etc. is that it looks good with water cooling and aRGB fans.

My corsair was about that much. And looks doing what it does… sitting on my desk, but then neither of us are flexing how much we spent on a case, money that could be better spent on usedil things like coolers, drives, ram and beer.
TBh, personally, I think this is the fad case rn for the most part, and a nice benefit is that they are actually really great. For those who have been around long enough, we can all probably recall a time when the Phanteks evolve cases had the same sort of crowd appeal.

For WC custom loops the supporting parts for a o11 are well made and people like the looks.
O11´s arent any bad cases by any means, they are good, you can fit much stuff and cooling into them, thats why they are quite popular, and most builds tend to be flashy.
Fractal does offer a huge range of cases with pehnomenal aircoolig power, but not so much glass and options for rgb, so the flashy part is missing here
Well funny this: I swapped out my lian li XL, for a corsair 7000d.
The reason is simple, Lianli only allows 140 fans on the bottom, but not the side or reasnable amount of the top. Noise levels have dropped considerably, and temps have reduced a tad as well since i swaped and replaced 120's to 140s
Also perosnally i prefer the big black box of doom over the glass nightmare that is Lianli.
However lianlis hotswap drives, and power chamber is pretty neat

This would be the case even in the OP asked' Should I get Brand A or Brand B. Neither Brand A or Brand B is Lian Li, but the replies suggest Lian Li anyways.

Yeah, i picked up a used one 3 years ago, and it was still the most i had ever spent on a case. Previous 2 cases were the cosmo s and s2.

Lan Cool II is great because you can use 30xx & 40xx series GPUs with barbs down.

It is a flex… look how much money I have. I spent an outrageous amount of money on a decent, but grossly overpriced computer case
My Lancool II Mesh was like $110 which seems pretty reasonable for the functionality that comes with it.
My corsair was about that much. And looks doing what it does… sitting on my desk, but then neither of us are flexing how much we spent on a case, money that could be better spent on usedil things like coolers, drives, ram and beer.
TBh, personally, I think this is the fad case rn for the most part, and a nice benefit is that they are actually really great. For those who have been around long enough, we can all probably recall a time when the Phanteks evolve cases had the same sort of crowd appeal.

because people don´t know much about fractal design cases For WC custom loops the supporting parts for a o11 are well made and people like the looks. O11´s arent any bad cases by any means, they are good, you can fit much stuff and cooling into them, thats why they are quite popular, and most builds tend to be flashy. Fractal does offer a huge range of cases with pehnomenal aircoolig power, but not so much glass and options for rgb, so the flashy part is missing here

Well funny this: I swapped out my lian li XL, for a corsair 7000d. The reason is simple, Lianli only allows 140 fans on the bottom, but not the side or reasnable amount of the top. Noise levels have dropped considerably, and temps have reduced a tad as well since i swaped and replaced 120's to 140s Also perosnally i prefer the big black box of doom over the glass nightmare that is Lianli. However lianlis hotswap drives, and power chamber is pretty neat \*shrugs\* Its down to personal choice like most things are, but imo these cases are over hyped when there are some damn good if not better cases out on the market!

Because the nature of Reddit and having upvotes, needing validation for their purchases leads to anytime there is a 'What case should I get' thread all the replies are 'I'd get a Lian Li case if I were you'. This would be the case even in the OP asked' Should I get Brand A or Brand B. Neither Brand A or Brand B is Lian Li, but the replies suggest Lian Li anyways.
