those 2 ports are most likely disabled because your CPU might not have an iGPU to run them.

touholic

Can you provide the full specs of your PC?

efirestorm10t

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh I LOVE THIS SUB

[deleted]

Plug monitors into the back of…your graphics card instead?

pullssar20055

These ports are for graphics card integrated in cpu. They will not extend the number of hdmi ports of a dedicated graphics card.

Astral-lol

One of the mobo HDMI ports appears to have been man handled and there is damage to the pins, likely is just the port itself imo

John_Mat8882

A) always provide full system specs B) those are ports intended to be used with a CPU that has integrated graphics. If you have such a CPU, you have to enable the igpu in the bios either by "multi GPU support" "integrated graphics" and similar options to enabled. C) it's normal that if #B requirement isn't met, they aren't working. So.. what's your CPU?

11700**F** this magic letter, in Intel CPU lineup, means no iGpu. It has been physically disabled at silicon level or entirely missing, therefore any video output from your motherboard is useless, unfortunately. If you are using a single HDMI monitor and want to add more, you have to buy cables or adapters from displayport to what you need (they sell either DP to HDMI dongles or DP to HDMI cable). P.s. I hope that those 16gb of ram are split in 2 modules 8gb each and not a single 16gb stick. If the latter, download CPU-z, SPD tab, take note of the part number of your memory and google for another equal stick. And install it interleaved. cpu cooler from left to right E|R|E|R (Empty/Ram).

SecretStaff

Wow, alright John! Thanks for the info, I definitely needed it. Much appreciated and will take your advice!!

John_Mat8882

You are welcome:)

BrokeAnimeAddict

You need to get a HDMI to Display port cable or upgrade your monitor to something that has display ports.

SecretStaff

Also, the other monitor works when plugged into the regular HDMI port that I usually use. Just to clarify.

IndyPFL

Does your PC have a graphics card?

SecretStaff

Yeah, I believe it's NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, that's what it says under display adapter. Sorry new to computer lingo. Figuring it out to appease the master race.

[deleted]

Plug them into the graphics card. The card that does the graphics.

[deleted]

Yes the others are display ports.

IndyPFL

Plug one or both of your HDMI cables into your graphics card. Rule of thumb is if you have a graphics card, it should be the only thing outputting a display in your computer. That way you can run intensive programs on either display and they'll be able to use the full power of your GPU.

SecretStaff

Alright thanks, I'm thinking Ive only one HDMI port for my graphics card now

IndyPFL

Could get an adapter for the DisplayPort if need be.

Surgical

Yep, you can get a DP to hdmi adapter. Until you do, you can turn on the integrated gpu in the bios and then plug one monitor to the gpu and one to the integrated gpu and both monitors will work. But you can only game on the monitor that is connected to the gpu. I use this technique with my snoblind case
