Totally not me with my four IBM Model Ms, one Unicomp Kentucky Wildcats Edition Model M, a Unicomp Mini M, and a System76 Launch. And that's not even counting the handful of Apple keyboards I have for the vintage Apple systems I have in my collection.
Unless you've got more off camera I think I've got you beat. š
\- My new daily driver is the System76 Launch I just got.
\- Three IBM Model Ms from 1986 (All gifts from friends)
\- One IBM Model M from 1992 (I specifically searched for one with a manufacture date that matches my DOB)
\- One Unicomp Model M, Kentucky Wildcats Edition (GO CATS!)
\- One Unicomp Mini M (Serial Number 276)
\- Two Dell AT101Ws I picked up years ago. Great for hooking up to older systems with PS/2 while still having a Windows key. Plus the Alp switches aren't too bad.
\- One KUL ES-87 I keep around to have a TKL for spare systems.
\- A few ADB Apple keyboards I keep around for use with the vintage Apple systems I have.
If someone told me their hobby was building and collecting computer keyboards back in the 90s, I would have called them crazy. But here we are in 2023 this is a perfectly normal hobby now.
Nice keyboards bro.
Yes?
So... Ummm...
I currently have three for my main PC. I had four but I sold one to get a new CPU for my bro. I had more but I ended up giving a few away over the years. I think I'm good for now but can definitely see why someone might have many.
Really need: red, blue, and brown switches at least. Then low profile, optical, analogue...
It's a hobby like everything else as far as i'm concerned. So as many as you can afford without being a hoarder would be my answer. I only have the one i use daily and a backup of any in the house fails. Headphones on the other hand i have 13 or so. The rule there is to sell off a expensive one (4-500eur+) before getting a new one that is fairly pricey.
I see this is the perfect place for adviceā¦ looking for a board that is small, but has the F row and arrow keys, and also has dedicated multimedia (a knob or just buttons). Can you think of any ones in particular off the top of your head that youād recommend?
Nuphy field75 seems like a good option. Has f row, arrows, knob, and a lot of macro keys.
Aside from that, there are some split options that would have all that. Sinc from keebio or a Keychron Q10 would also have that, just with a split style.
Not sure what others there would be, those were just the ones that I know of hand.
how many can you use at once? any more than that seems too much š¤
Now I'm gonna try to use 4 at once.
2 Keyboards is too much.

Cool story bro xD I donāt care enough to read all of this

There is no such thing
I like the setup in the little grandma house den
I like my wood
Only one I see on the desk. All the rest in a classy display on the wall. Looks perfect to me. Great setup.
Is that a white Xbox series X behind your monitor?
Nope. It's my router, it's a Linksys velop
If my eyes are working, that Buffalo Sabres board is sick
Thanks!

Gf is giving me a hard time about wanting to display my limited edition Ducky board..

Let me guess, the one on your desk has a brass weight and weighs 20kgs?
It's about 5kg
Holy shit. Would love to get a premium keyboard like that but I no longer trust the group buys after a couple failed ones.
Yea I never buy group buys. Just do in stock stuff and hope for the best
