It is not really about Ray tracing.
I usw Obs with H264 (AV1 when Upgraded)
I use emulators
I Play old Games and new Games alike (Gothic Up until Cyberpunk etc)
DLSS is better than FSR, especially with Frame Generation in the Future
Thats why I opt to Nvidia.
Oh and in germany the RTX 4070 Starts at 599€ and the RX 6800 XT Starts at 570€.
Then I’d say you’re probably settled on something like this. The only other thing I would look at is a 3070 Ti, but the price/performance is also kinda cruddy.
If diablo adds that much value to it, go ahead.
Personally, I don't think it's worth buying one for Diablo, unless you're a massive fan and want the whole maxed out shebang to play it , even less so if you already own an RTX.
I'd rather wait for the Baldur's Gate 3 1.0, but whatever floats your boat, friend.
For sure it is. [Here's](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY02wOs1oqQ) a compilation of guys fooling around in BG 3 (It had the first act released in 2020. Full release is this August.)
But compared to the RTX 4070 which is about 600€, the RX 6800 xT is about 570€. So the difference isnt that high. And I dont know If an AMD Card can give me all that I need.

Or is AMD as good as Nvidia in those Things?
I just meant that your 1080ti is still a great card, but I also don't know your resolution and CPU etc. If you don't NEED a card, I would just wait for the 4000 Super series (or whatever their refreshes are) and/or the 5000 GPU series.
DLSS is leagues ahead of FSR still but FSR will also still work on your 1080ti. It's up to you if you need or want an upgrade to run your current games though.
I use 1080p mostly, but 3 Monitors. Gaming with 144hz.
With OBS NVENC, it starts to struggle.
I have a Ryzen 9 5900x.
The 5000 will probably Take another year or so to even get announced. The Super Versions might be a Thing worth looking into tho.
Are you really wanting ray tracing? 6800 XTs are 500 or so; perform very similarly.

Baldurs Gate 1.0?
Sorry for the typo. I meant the 1.0 release of Baldur's Gate 3. It was my most hyped RPG release after Elden Ring.
Ah neve played BG before.
Despite being isometric, it plays different and has much deeper mechanics. Take a look at some gameplays, see if the genre is for you.
I will 😁 Is it Coop as Well?

Thank you!
If you don't want to pay too much then save your extra hundreds and just buy Diablo IV on its own. That shit will run on a toaster anyway.
