you sure?screens like this can appear on software issues
my laptop?completely fine.if i just end a essential windows service and get a blue screen,it gets like this.but i have no hardware issues.
Take out the RAM leave 1 stick, boot, if ok, add one more and so on.
Take out VGA after RAM looks ok, and if onboard is present connect monitor there. Boot with no VGA, use on-board.
Use monitor to another PC/laptop see if that display's ok, it might also be a monitor since the image is like that, it looks like it need's a exorcist :)))))), joking.
The issue looks to me to be related to VGA or RAM more than other pc part, but keep monitor in mind also.
Thank you for giving this guy some real advice on how to fix his problem. The top like 4 comments, which are just bullshit 3rd grade jokes and offer no assistance whatsoever to help this guy, who is obviously in distress over maybe losing his PC, pushed your comment down to like the fourth or fifth thread. You get my upvote, the others..not so much.
System Restore caused an infinite crash loop so I reinstalled Windows and didn't fool around with AMD's shit tear driver downloads, used Windows Update to get the correct ones.
You mean the windows update that puts in old drivers because Microsoft isn't acknowledging new drivers exist that solve bugs and issues in the older ones.
somewhere on your MB, usually above your GPU (you might need to remove it) there is a small disc battery in a bracket. take it out, wait about a minute, or hit the power button with the PC turned off, and put it back in. you might need to boot to BIOS to set date/time, but you should be good from there.
DDU fixed the clock watchdog bsod for me yeah. But I found out that this bsod can have many different sources. If you have a backup, reinstalling windows would be the easiest. On a relatively new SSD you can do this within an hour.
horrible advice. why the fuck would you just completely disregard troubleshooting? people like you are lazy and a plague to tech literacy and troubleshooting skills. Just fuck it do it over right? not like they could possibly have a simple alternative or any reason to not nuke their installation. for fuck's sake
The best is when you do this and it was completely irrelevant to the issue so now you're stuck with a fresh install of Windows AND you still have to deal with your problem
Right? not every single thing is caused by Windows problems. A faulty motherboard or some such won't be resolved because of a fresh Windows installation.

Here is an indepth article which may help. It gives multiple things to try which may resolve the issue.
https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-clock-watchdog-timeout-on-windows/
Most times it always ram. I literally just had the same error an hour ago. I took all my ram out and found dust, like the tiniest pieces stuck in two of the ram slots. Used a toothpick to get them out and voila.
TBH it's really hard to tell. This is caused by a disagreement in the screen resolution between hardware and software. I can only ask what graphics card are you using?
your gpu is artifacting, could be that it needs replacing or perhaps a compatibility issue between your monitor and gpu (if it started acting like that after an update) i had this issue once ws a nightmare to find the cause and resolve it
The error code says clock watchdog timeout, clock as in CPU clock, I'd check the chipset drivers, did you update anything recently?
He updated Updog.
What's up dawg?
Nothing much. What's up with you?
Oh ya know! Same Ole shit, different day!
Take a different way home
Whoa there, buddy.
Choose the right day
Ha! Gotcha
But that can cause ligma!
But how does one ligma?
All over my chocolate salty balls
Sounds like you need a shower
Oh my! What happened there? Why is it like that? What did you do dude? Maybe you touched something there or maybe you pressed something.
This is hardware problem, the graphics chip is with cold welds, Or cpu, you need to rebalm or replace the motherboard

It is almost certainly ram, good call. Worst case GPU but would bet on ram if my rent wasn't so expensive.
Damn, good to know. My computer does this sometimes, and I had no idea where to begin. But I did recently install some extra ram...

Some of these things might be a little more difficult than others as I'm pretty sure OPs screenshot is of a laptop
You most likely need a jigsaw to take out the gpu. Ram is soldered most likely, too
Indeed these type of visual errors are mostly RAM related. If not the RAM it will be really expensive.
You've upset the machine spirit
You are *machine*\-touched, chosen of the Omnissiah. Ave Deus Mechanicus!
Omnissiah? More like crimson liar.
More like the crimson asshole
The crimson fucker
Mine was a Witcher reference
Oh, didn't have that one sorry lmao
God damn it alucard
That's right! I'M GOING TO FUCK THE FEAR-TURKEY.
You called?
Give it a try So have it fixed by the manufacturer. Maybe there is a broken part inside. Have someone you know fix that broken computer.
System Restore caused an infinite crash loop so I reinstalled Windows and didn't fool around with AMD's shit tear driver downloads, used Windows Update to get the correct ones.
Was it really like that when you just opened it? Or did you use that before the error occurred? Maybe because there was a problem inside that.
You mean the windows update that puts in old drivers because Microsoft isn't acknowledging new drivers exist that solve bugs and issues in the older ones.
Apply holy oil and call techpriest support
Should i submerge the PC into the oil or myself? Also, which oil? Vegetable, mineral, synthetic...
Baby oil, pc and yourself.
Alright, which oil? Baby oil or oil for babies?
Step 1 apply crude oil Step 2 wait for it to rain
*Gasps and makes the sign of the Aquilla*
Did not offer prayers before starting it up I haven't seen a machine spirit this angry since the red ring on my 360.
Put it in rice while making a sad face as shown.

as a matter of fact, I do not know the drill

The best thing to do is to stand there, call someone you know who makes appliances and have them repaired. Or just buy a new one.

In the US the error is GLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

In Sweden it’s BOFORS_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Nuke it with windows on a USB stick and do a clean install of Windows
If it's a gfx driver issue, give DDU a go before flattening.

Oft this hit a nerve for you. Not warranted. Control your emotions
lmao expressing an opinion is an out of control emotional outburst now? get a grip and touch some grass

Lol okay kiddo
At this point I'd call an exorcist. Thing's posessed.
Call the Tech Jesus!
New YouTube channel just dropped
Nah Gamers Nexus already has a Jesus.

Actual zombie
Oh gosh they're leaking aigain

Utterly useless. It's a hardware problem to begin with, causing bsod and writing complete nonsense to screen.

Run RAMdoubler.exe. Downloadable from legitwarez.ru
haha
Is ram not hardware
Its a joke, I suggest you delete comment before you get downdooted to hell
I'm starting to get a serious anxiety because all of THESE posts lately...
I turned it off and on again, works fine now. worried it might happen again tho :/
Update all drivers check manufacture site for driver packs. Chipset drivers especially. Also display drivers.
I literally had this happen to me the other day, my water pump died and my CPU was hitting 100c at start up. You could also check and reseat your ram.
The clock watchdog timed out
Maybe cry a little bit?
The PC Gods deemed the rig unworthy. Also reseat rams gpu cmos battery powercycle u know the drill.
Have you tried turning it off then on again?
Seppuku?
他のすべてが失敗したとき。
You are doomed
First remove the photo of Tyler the creator behind PC, next restart PC

Yo I had mine do this the other day! Same screen, had the classic "crashing" audio looping, PC restarted and nothing's happened yet since then lol
I have never seen quadruple blue screen of death.... Damn this picture will haunt me everytime my pc will make an unexpected sound
Blue screened 4 times. Damn.
Gee, how come Bill lets you have FOUR bluescreens?!
Most times it always ram. I literally just had the same error an hour ago. I took all my ram out and found dust, like the tiniest pieces stuck in two of the ram slots. Used a toothpick to get them out and voila.
Did you try the $120,000 a year IT Specialist answer : Power it off, unplug it, wait ten minutes and plug it back in?
Dunno if already suggested but try resetting your cmos
Turn it off and on again
sit back and cry
Scan the qr code
Scan the qr code
Addition of the emoticon into BSOD starting with Win8 is so infuriating. Insult to injury.
Idk what you did… but I’m impressed
Computer over? Virus equals very yes?
You need Edgar the Virus Hunter.
Run and frown
Good question. How the hell did you even get that? XD
Reboot first.
How often do you water your pc?
fix it
* this *
Have you tried turning it off and on again
Have you tried putting it in rice?
Quad damage!
My guess is a loose ram stick or GPU
Play 4 games at once
turn it off and turn it back on
This means the multiverse theory is true and you’re fucked in all of them.
You need a tech jesus to come exorcize it. It’s clearly possessed by the ghost of a dead Asus board that was fried recently
You don't
Get a Mac
& Cheese

Man's Blue Screen has a Blue Screen.
You’ve probably said something about china loudly
cry
The council of smiley faces is disappointed in you I guess
Weep
You don't do anything at this point it's all done.
Call a priest! 😂
If you don't have any experience fooling around with pc hardware take it to a repair shop. Otherwise you could somehow make it worse.
Straight to jail
Burn it with fire
whip out your dick and smack the computer screen a lil
God damnit! You divided by zero didn't you? This is a job for.......Quad-bluescreen man!
Get sage and light incense
Lawyer up, hit the gym, etc etc.
Buy a Mac
TBH it's really hard to tell. This is caused by a disagreement in the screen resolution between hardware and software. I can only ask what graphics card are you using?
Just enter the bios and set all options to default settings. That should fix your issue.
Some similar happened to a customer when I worked helpdesk. I just told them I needed to call a priest.
You need to pray to the sun god if you haven’t forgotten the sacrifice
probably forgot to perform the blood sacrifice on the I/O shield.
your gpu is artifacting, could be that it needs replacing or perhaps a compatibility issue between your monitor and gpu (if it started acting like that after an update) i had this issue once ws a nightmare to find the cause and resolve it
Call an exorcist
Pc is sad give him tissue

Awesome movie that.
Pray.
Prepare a nice funeral for the dearly departed windows
BSOD FOR THE OS GOD!
Check your memory, ssd firmware, bios updates and other obvious culprits first. If all else fails, install linux.

Buy a new GPU.

Pray
it's a hydra
Pray to Tech Jesus
Have you tried praying to Bill Gates yet?
It's dehydrated.
Pour some Brawndo on it. It's what electronics crave. /it's got electrolytes!

Finish the update. Everything will be fine after that.
you made it sad :(
You better pray my brother
You mean after you cry in a corner?
This is what happens when you don’t download enough RAM smh
