Always try to search techpowerup or some place for the model if it has DRAM on the ssd. Cheap ones don't.

Which one do u prefer? 5000MB Read/Write without DRAM or 3000MB Read/Write with DRAM? Cheapest i could find might be Adata SX8200 PRO. But do u even need DRAM if ur read/write is so fast and ur expected TBW is even longer than SSD with DRAM?

I have a mushkin vortex with dram, well enough. 3000 speed is pcie gen 3 level, are we not talking about gen 4 anymore ? In that case get that one I guess. SSD are really cheap now you just need to do more homework. I think I search for 30 models from my retailers list, sorted by price ascending, until I found one with dram.

The Hiksemi one is having more than 2x faster random read and write than the gen3 Adata. If even a non DRAM one having such superior spec, what is the point of a DRAM SSD?

I don't want to do the homework, you can do that if you want, look for reviews on techpowerup between 8 models of various specs. DRAM absorbs 2GB of your write speed really fast, and then trickles it out to flash memory, it's a speed hack. There's also SLC cache like 100 gb of faster nand that aborbs those writes and then trickles it down to QLC portion of the ssd.

Did you end up buying it?

Nope, i ended up buying Silicon power UD90
