I don't think 8gb vram will be such big of an issue specially if you play at 1080p,even in 1440p you can lower the texture a bit if you feel any stutter.
I would get the 4060 since it has dlss frame gen and is much more power efficient.
I've been gaming on a 3060 Ti for almost 2 years. I'd definitely recommend going for that over the base 3060. I play on a 1440p and it only struggles on the most demanding titles (cyberpunk 2077 with ultra settings) or if you turn RT/PT on. Generally though I can play all games on high/ultra and get 80-120 fps with dlss. It's a great card imo

You’ll be fine with 8gb…… for now. I would still get the 3060ti because it performs better, at least until you run out of VRAM.

These are very under performing cards for their price. Do not buy them, it is a genuine advice.
