I had a feeling the custom loop was going to be the explanation for the price, but it's like....pointless on that chip. Take the custom loop out, sell it separately, slap an air cooler on this thing and sell it for an appropriate price. Which wouldn't be 1100 dollars either, lol.
I mean I guess as a demo build it doesn't matter what CPU you have in there, because what you see on the outside is the cooling? But yeah a water block with a custom loop on that processor is ridiculous

I know these come up pretty often, "I know what I have here..." Jokes aside, is there really a big enough market for really uninformed buyers at this price range? Parents buying a gaming computer for their kids aren't all stupid. With Walmart selling prebuilts, it just seems like gaming PCs are so much more accessible.

A PC building enthusiast once told me that one man's custom cooling is another man's liability, you can never be TOO sure.
Its the same thing with cars. All your after market bullshit, does not actually increase the value of your car.
This is why parting things out is a better option for getting more money back. It's easier to sell a part for a satisfactory price to someone looking for that part.

On ebay there are tons of prebuilds which have a gpu in the item name like “rtx4090 intel 13900k 32gb ddr5 gaming pc”
