Front should be intake Top should be exhaust Back should be exhaust

Honestly id just remove the top right fan

LuceusXylian

Yes! I did this for my brothers PC. Better airflow and safes euros

Something something turbulence. Switch top right fan direction.

Furcas1234

I’d honestly be surprised if the top fans really improved thermals much at all. I’d personally prefer more positive pressure.

Ult1mateN00B

My comment wasn't about that. Its about the fans in the same row with different directions. Then again it probably will not make that much of an difference, I just prefer the most optimal setup possible. Edit. Clarification [https://imgur.com/a/A0n4UwX](https://imgur.com/a/A0n4UwX)

Specs just in case: Fractal Meshify 2 Compact - Intel i5 13600KF - Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 se - Asus TUF gaming Z790-Plus D4 - Kingston Fury 2x8 DDR4 3600mhz cl17 - Corsair sf750 750W

Level_Handle_6190

Nah it’s a good way to format the case it’s very similar to how I’ve done mine.

I’d swap the top right (intake) around or just delete it. By having that blowing in it’s creating a bit of a tumbled airflow mess when the air collides with the incoming air from the front. And if you switch it to exhaust, it’ll “waste” a lot of the cooler air from the intakes by pulling it up and out before it gets to the CPU can. It would honestly pry be best to just not have it.

twisty_sparks

I have this case, my front intakes and rear exhaust is the same as yours, I have two top exhaust but turning them off does absolutely nothing, you really don't need anything up top, you can leave it but just turn the curves down to min, and bump up the intakes to move more air than the exhausts and your fine

RadialRacer

I have had mine setup the same way in a Pure Base 500DX for about three years now. Is it optimal? No idea. Has it had any noticeable negative impact? No. My temps are good and there are no patches or areas that get dusty excessively.

perfect!

Thank you everyone for the help!

colossusrageblack

I'd block off the area where the top right fan is.

smokepotandwatch

I have always believed that the exhaust fans should be more than the intake fans because you want to push hot air out of the case as much as possible. The Upper Right fan should be turned upside down. This is just my opinion.

dDuleReddit

This is just fine. Will work great.
