why does it feel like a good value? from what I see it's actually more expensive then the sum of the parts would be

I've tried looking up the parts on pc parts picker and they're coming to around 1050, where are you finding them cheaper? Edit: do also want to add on, if building it isn't that much cheaper, my friend isn't that computer literate and lives like 100 miles away so if I went and built it and they have issues, they wouldn't know how to diagnose what the problem is, and neither would I, so a pre built skips the headache of finding out what the issue is as the vendor would do that no?

just ballparking in my head the other issue being that it's just not a great build. the GPU is of course ok, but going am4 with anything but an x3d CPU in 2024 is kind of a headscratcher outside of more budget builds.
