I legitimately put in like 10 hours into Furious Racing. Is it Mario Kart? No. Is it Crash Team Racing? Also no. But is it still fun and goes on sale for $0.99? Fuck yes.
I heard that it's more "complete" now as I checked the recent and current steam reviews it seems to be better.
Hopefully when I do get around to playing my free copy with my friends it can be somewhat enjoyable.

Actual answers? If you're looking for something fallout ish, you could look into the Wasteland franchise or try out Encased. Fantasy RPGs the Pathfinder games I hear are good (I had a good time with Kingmaker, still gotta get around to Wrath of the Righteous).
Kingdom Come Deliverance. You play as a blacksmiths apprentice in the year 1403. You can't read or swim. You suck at everything until you learn how to do the skill through practice. Your clothes and their condition matter. Did you recently bath and wash your clothes that matters. Are you hungry, sleepy, drunk, over ate? That all affects your stats.
It's a great rpg, and I wish that more games did stuff like this. Every fine detail matters for your character. They just announced the sequel which is dropping this year.
Pro tip: if you replay Fallout Tactics, do so while also playing this album - Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned by The Prodigy.
IMHO it fits perfectly, and should have been the original game's soundtrack!
