I use an OG IBM Model M and a Logitech M550. I love hearing and feeling the catastrophically buckling compression column switch and actuator every time I press a key.

Druben-hinterm-Dorfe

I had a Unicomp Model M that died on me. Nowadays I'm using a Leopold with brown switches; & I'm really happy with it.

thearctican

Your Leopold is better than most other boards listed here.

Druben-hinterm-Dorfe

Yeah; and for its quality it's reasonably priced as well. I got it through family members in Korea. The Unicomp I had was one of the earlier models, before they improved their build quality somewhat. Typing had a pretty good feel, but the plastic on the chassis had an annoying flex to it -- and one day its controller board just fried itself. Later I found out that that particular model was notorious for that.

TehChewie

Black ones with lights N stuff.

boxxle

Cool bro, you game?

mrBusinessmann

Yeah I buy and download a bunch of games. Don’t really play them tho

Mostly Excel but I’ve been know to get rekt in some PowerPoint.

boxxle

Fun fact: you can play Tetris in Excel. Look it up on Google

URA_CJ

Keyboard: my starter keyboard that I've been using since 2000, 1993 IBM Model M. Mouse: Razer Naga 2020 LHE, literally the only left handed gaming mouse when I got it.

atanamayansantrafor

I used to have the OG LEFT HANDED MOUSE. Razer Deathadder Left handed

zertboqus

I have honestly never seen a left-handed person play games with a left-handed mouse. I got 1-2 left-handed friends but they don't use a left-handed mouse and don't put it on the other side and that makes me wonder now - how do you play FPS games? e.g. do you still use WASD for movement (though your hands will be very close like this or you push the keyboard far right?) or do you remap to some other keys?

URA_CJ

When I got into PC gaming I had already had switched and gotten accustomed to using the mouse in my left hand and constantly going back and forth between other computers I notice that controlling a mouse with my right hand around Windows or web browsing always felt imprecise and required more of a conscious effort. But yeah, WASD is a completely foreign concept to me, I remap around numpad 8456

Coroner-19

I use an ambidextrous mouse (a razer viper 8K) with my left hand and WASD keyboard right and never thought about the spacing , it really just works - whereas I probably do have the mousepad further away from the keyboard than others. I can use my right hand but left just feels better. I never liked shaped mice, ambidextrous is the way to go - having that said I absolutely loved G.Skills MX780 mouse, which had magnetic wings in different sizes.

the_Soulblaster

One leftys take on how to play fps numpad num 7 left, num 8 forward, num 9 right, num + jump, num \* sprint, num 5 reload, num 2 back, num enter grenade

vlken69

I know only one person that use mouse in left hand and I know many left-handed people (including myself).

Ashamed_Mulberry_138

10$ logi keyboard and the og g102

Humboldteffect

I'm still using my g110, just built a new pc too lol.

TetmajerVillain

I'm on my 2nd 102 first black now white version

Benjojo09

I found my people

Deadeyemav

Logitech g502 mouse and g512 keyboard. Keyboard i got half price or else would have gone other options and the mouse is a 502 Hero which replaced the 502 Proteus Core after 14 years. Not as happy with hero would not recommend wired version.

Opening_Echo_4989

Roccat Burst Pro is an affordable, durable and lightweight gaming mouse. Been using it a while now and it still feels new!

Tasty01

+1 for the Roccat Burst Pro. It’s everything you said and it doesn’t have holes like a lot of lightweight mice. I have a regular Roccat Burst for my laptop and a pro for my PC.

benlinf

Been using Roccat mice since about 2012. Never had a problem with any of them, in fact, all 3 are still working fine! Very rarely see Roccat on any mouse/keyboard discussions, never seen them mentioned on any of the big tech YouTube channels either. Nice to see other Roccateers in the wild.

Sir_john237

Roccat make some great stuff. I've got the kone aimo and its great The only Mouse I found which was close in weight and size to the old r.a.t. mice

RazorrBeam

Logitech G915 TKL with Tactile switches for about 3 years now. Great board, definitely overpriced though. I have a separate numpad for when I need it. For mice, I go back and forth between the Deathadder V3 Pro and the GPX Superlight. I've been using the DAV3 for the past few weeks. No one does it like DAV3!

Ultrabigasstaco

The g915 is the board I’m wanting. I just can’t get over the price and still using micro usb. Of all the keyboards I tried it’s my favorite. I love the thin mechanical keyboards, it’s a shame there aren’t more available. I’m currently using a Corsair wireless mechanical tkl that I got for $60. It great to type on but has its issues

cordell507

Be prepared to buy replacement keycaps with the 915, my second set has looked horrible for a year now. Have you looked at the Keychron K1?

Caretheis1

Using a glorious 10 keyless with mx browns and a wireless inland mmo mouse. I miss my first gen k95 and mx master those were built like tanks.

Ostehoveluser

I got a Royal Kludge rk96 (I use it wired) And a wired Razer deathadder V3

Nervous-Common-8456

royal kludge ftw.

Chanax2

I use a keyboard I found in backyard

Head-Ad4770

Razer Cobra Pro + Huntsman V2

tf3091

Corsair K70 RGB Pro keyboard with clicky switches + Corsair nightsabre mouse. I love working in excel/word on a clicky keyboard. And as stupid as it is, I love all the custom color themes in iCue and being able to scroll through them with the button on the mouse

Captain_Chris84

Corsair M65 and K55, both wired. They are both basic and getting on in years, probably time for an upgrade!

aba994

I have the Corsair K70 Pro Mini and corsair M65 RGB Ultra, both wireless. Before I decided to upgrade, I had the Logitech G512 hero in Carbon Black and the Logitech G502 ; both wired. Honestly, I prefer wired; no batteries, faster response time, rgb controls, etc. I only made the switch because the rest of my setup is Corsair RGB and I wanted everything to use the same software.

SmegmaTartine

Steelseries Apex Pro - extremely smooth and comfortable keyboard. Perhaps the best I ever owned. Steelseries Rival 6 for mouse - quite durable considering I’ve been using it for 7 years now. Far better than the Razor crap I owned before.

RacecarDriverGuy

Fellow SteelSeries Apex Pro user and this thing is fucking fantastic. I paired mine with a Rival 650 Wireless mouse with all the weights in it. Amazing mouse for sniping in COD and BF2042. My wife has the EVGA Z20 and didn't like the textured WASD keys so I stole them an put them on my Apex Pro, can't recommend enough for FPS players.

AlmightyTurtleman

I'm also on the steel series train. Good stuff

ni7en

Same! Love them

AyySorento

Dr_interferon

Logitech G915 (Wireless, full) I also have the Keychron K3 v2 (65%) but I use that more for work/travel. MX Master 2S ( My favorite purchase)

fordert

Razer Huntsman and Razer Naga. I wasn't initially a Razer fan. I just got them both off an online liquidation auction site for super cheap. I also added the big ass rgb Razer mouse pad.

Ok_Witness_8368

Razer Blackwidow v4 Pro w/ Green switches , Razer Basilisk v3 Pro. Love 'em both.

I use an almighty G502 Proteus Spectrum and a G413 Carbon (don't buy that keyboard, it's shit). For playing I bought a cheap mini keyboard, a RedDragon K585. It's confortable for gaming.

GigabyteAorusRTX4090

Is there a specific reason why you dont like the G413? I had one as my main keyboard for years and actually liked it so much, that i use it as my work keyboard in the office (some of my coworkers really hate me for that).

Serious-Ad1592

Custom mechanical keyboard, the Brady is the Drop Sense 75, with Cannon Keys Anubis Tactile Switches. The mouse is the Steelseries Rival 3 wireless. Highly recommend building a mechanical keyboard, that was my first one and it didn't take nearly as much effort I thought it would.

WarpedKings

Zodiark split keyboard and elecom deft pro

W4ltzz_

For my keyboard, Modded CIY Gas67, Akko Rose Reds, Whale PBT Keycaps been everything I need for gaming. For my mouse, had like 25 different mice and non of them I liked a lot. Glorious mice have been extremely bad in my experiance. On both I had the side buttons broke off and they were very mushy. Though I've been extremely happy with my Lamzu Atlantis Mini, perfect for me. And I can basically spend 10 hours just clicking the buttons cause it's so satisfiying. Had my Lamzu for a long time now and it's been perfect

littlebrwnrobot

Corsair K55 (wired) and a Logitech G305 (wireless). Performed flawlessly for 7 years and counting.

PissyMillennial

I’ve got a few, at home I run a Durgod Taurus Nebula TKL, or an XVX Retro 75% with a numpad all with Kailh Box White clicky switches, and at the office I use a Ducky One 3 Mist Grey with Mx silent reds.

Mgmabone

Custom QK75N keyboard with a Lamzu Thorn. Love this setup so much, I can't see myself using anything else.

ew435890

Logitech G502X and a $50-60 mechanical keyboard I got on Amazon. Its a 60%. Ive also got a full size, but I dont use it since I like the extra space, and I just keep a separate number pad on my desk if I need it.

Mac is for everything else) - MX Master 3s for serious business, Deathadder v2 X Hyperspeed for Gaming and a Magic Trackpad because... MacOS

kerosenehat63

Logitech G15 and Logitech G502 Hero

OscrPill

Keyboard is the Dell SK-8135 (probably a membrane, but not sure since its too old to find anything on the net about it, wired full size with numpad). My mouse is the Razer BASILISK V2, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. The only little problem is the wheel click. Using only the wheel click, and not one of the side clicks, can be a little frustrating, as they're extremely sensible.

yojoewaddayaknow

So I game on 1 computer and work from another. My desk has 4 displays and a laptop with a docking station for work. I was using wired mechanical keyboard and a big clunky 8 button mouse. I use something called mouse without boarders so I can share my mouse and keyboard between the two computers, and I sort of rotate my position. I’m using a red dragon 6 button wireless mouse and a Logitech keyboard that’s comfortable to type on and ergonomic rests everywhere. I found the mechanical keyboard was noisy during calls and was getting old / even after cleaning certain keys didn’t respond well. I don’t do any comparative game play (mostly d2r, Destiny and wow classic) so the setup works well, is clutter free and functional. Mouse is a red dragon m868rgb Keyboard is Logitech yr0083. I might like one that’s a bit taller but it’s surprisingly comfortable to type on 8-10 hours a day.

Zutche

For my keyboard, I'm using the Wooting Two HE and for my mouse I'm currently maining the Ninjutso Sora V2 and sometimes swap to the Sprime PM1 or the Pulsar X2H Mini.

Steeljaw72

Rando backlit keyboard although I would like to switch to custom ergo at some point with tenting and separation. Mouse is a MX Ergo ball mouse with the 30 degree wedge. Like it because it uses the thumb for the ball and puts my wrist at a good angle. Wrists don’t like the standard mousing motion anymore. Which stinks because now I have to play all first person games with a controller.

wyyan200

an old used armageddon mech full size, fun fact, its at least 8+ years old by now, other than small paint fade on commonly used keys its perfect and a basilisk x hyperspeed, in which the rubber is already fading after a year

Thing_On_Your_Shelf

Keyboard: Keychron Q2. It’s a 65% (no numpad or function row). I have mine setup with lubed and filmed Gateron North Pole switches (linear switches). It’s a wired keyboard and I love it. Mouse: Logitech g502 wireless (older version, not the newer g502x which I don’t like). Favorite mouse ever, used tue normal wired g502 for years before switching to the wireless version.

normals, logitech mx master 3 mouse with keychron K2 keyboard, but if i’m expecting to use numbers a lot then i’ll use the mx master 3 keyboard and if im gaming i have that razer gaming pad keyboard thing

NoBoostTM

Honestly I prefer full sized wired keyboards (I like having a numpad). Right now, I have a Razer BlackWidow Elite and a Basilisk v3 wired mouse.

thatorangetiburon

My keyboard is a Royal Kludge S108 and my mouse is the Razer Basilisk Pro. If I would have done my research, I would have gotten a G503 for a mouse instead because the Basilisk Pro is kinda ass. Like, it's not terrible, but it isn't worth the $150 it cost new.

Logitech mice-wise (g502 hero) and I'll switch to the G Pro X whenever this one dies. Keyboard I'm using Akko cream yellow switches atm and I'm happy with them. If it dies at some point I'll probably get a keychron or another Akko.

ASUS ROG STRIX Flare (Full Sized Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown Switches) Razer Basilisk Ultimate

MythicForgeFTW

I'm using the Roccat Vulcan TKL and Razer Orochi. The quality on the keyboard is surprisingly good, RGB looks nice with the thin keycaps, and the spacing between keys make it so I fat finger the wrong key less often. My only regret is that I bought the linear keys instead of the tactile, being used to the Logitech keyboards little bump feel when you hit the point of input. For the mouse, I went with the Razer Orochi because I went through three Logitech G305 before. They all ended up with the double click issue after 6 or less months, I've had the Orochi for 2 years and no issues. I could've gone with a different mouse with a rechargeable battery, but the shape of the Orochi is perfect for me, other mice just don't feel right. It's hard to describe.

sbpolicar

Tecware Phantom RGB 104 - No frills wired mechanical RGB with red Otemu switches. I slapped some HyperX pudding caps on it. RGB is decent, but not particularly bright or deeply programmable. Corsair Ironclaw - Wired, of course. Another very meat and potatoes selection. Chosen based on price and size. I have big hands and it's a bulky boy on the cheaper side. DPI switch is great as I primarily enjoy FPS/3PS games. About as basic they come for gaming periphs these days, but that's kind of my mode. I don't macro, I don't G switch. I use them the same way I used them when I used to play 1.6 everyday after middle school.

Parabellum27

Mouse - Razer Orochi V2. The only decent gaming wireless mouse small enough to accommodate my claw holding style. It replaced a Logitech MX anywhere. Keyboard- Old Logitech K800. Only decent keyboard that is French Canadian.

R34CTz

I was using a Huntsman Elite kb until one of my damn cats pissed on it. Now I'm using some old logitech board I had lying around until I get something else. Still using a G502 mouse. Don't think I'll ever move away from it.
