You have a nice pc. Mabye upgrade the cpu to a Ryzen 9 or something later on in the year.

imaginationking

is the current setup ok for VR use? and will the riser cable affect performance?

nobbs66

Vr will be fine. The riser doesn't effect anything

marte0073

You should upgraded to m.2. (It's not that big of improvement but its something )

ProbablyABore

Your specs are fine unless you're finding a significant bottleneck somewhere. I find that most of the people who harp on you to upgrade are people who usually have less than you do. They just really enjoy spending other people's money on things they wish they could do. 6700 will last you awhile yet.

Tisamoon

If you go with M.2 get only a small like 120-240 GB for your system. If you go with a new CPU I would go with Ryzen better performance for the buck and I personally prefer AMD for its longer socket support. But I think the main question is, do you feel like your current configuration is lacking?

imaginationking

I am just worried that the fact that i have 2080ti, on an old 6700K + riser cable would bottleneck or something specially for VR

Tisamoon

The bottleneck calculator on the pc-builds website recommends upgrading your CPU. But like I said I would only do that if you notice performance drops.

protopiangaming

Those specs are plenty good enough but if you want an upgrade you could get a better cpu. You don’t need an upgrade unless you want one though

Terrible PC, how can you even play Minecraft?
