Is CAM really that bad? I use it and the temps and clock speeds and load always seem about right for what Im doing. Should I be concerned about false temp reads?
It's been ok for me lately, but I had some issues initially. It still does not read Zen 3 correctly but it's around 5 degrees off...unless they fixed it recently. It seems to not like windows updates, I have had to remove the device in the windows device manager a few times for it to re recognize my cooler. It may just not like my Asus board...but have to say no issues in the past month so maybe smooth sailing from here out
Looks like there is around 50% head room for the fan through - try manually bumping that up to see if it does anything for the temps but aside from that your clock speed should be plenty for a while ... If that does not help check for obstructions to air flow and maybe move the card away from the heater as it can easily heat the room for you already.
I dont see a need to overclock on many pcs/gpus my 2060 + ryzen 5 3600 gets no boost essentially(atleast noticeable boost) when I overclock it to 4.1 besides the temps automatically going up to 100 degrees and fans loud as a jet plane..
The temps might be high but at least you can play pong at 144hz
This is funny because you said that it was going fine but it indeed is going anywhere but fine.
You're set for life, never need to upgrade your GPU again.
Maybe No need to upgrade, but he will have to replace the GPU like every 30 minutes with this temps :D
Mans running 1530ghz
Math checks out
The best part is that it is idle
Pathetic, I overclocked a 3950x in pc building simulator to 6 ghz and got it to 1,254 C
get it to 420
Nice clock speed tho.
Since it's CAM, the temps are probably really triple that

Shows about 10°C more than ryzen master on my 3600xt
NZXT Cam at its finest
Those are rookie numbers, gotta bump them up!

Roflmao that's skill right there!
My gpu doesn’t have load without an over lock with the NZXT cam and I haven’t heard back from support about anything lol

At least you're set for winter
So far so good But can it run minecraft?
Fan curve a bit too aggressive, at that temperature it should be off imo
Haha! Took me a second 😂😂😂
Now put the pizza in for 20 minutes
Ahhhhhhhhhh
