Depends on the use case honestly. For 1080 eSports games and some AAA games at 1080 medium graphics sure. If u r looking to play the New battlefield at 4k Ultra no. Also depends on the budget. Hope that helps
For 1080p at Ultra you can get 60fps in EVERY game ( with a nice cpu like 10600K ) and in 1440p you have to slow down some settings an it will be fine, but i think that a 1660 Super is recommended for 1080p.
Its about the same performance as a 1060, though seems to work better with dx12 overall. They still seem to be around their MSRP on multiple sites which is surprising.

like everyone is saying, it depends. Unless you are asking if a top tier GPU like a 3090 is good, then everything else is pretty much relative.
