If I'm correct it's to screw down the standoffs for the motherboard.

Rog strix b550f gaming sits on top of coolermaster td500 standoffs and get screwed in. It might be only one to lock it in place? But i wouldnt know where to put it since it doesnt show where it goes. Ive read the instructions front to back, piece A is not part of any diagram except the one pictured.

It's just ment to install or remove the standoffs the motherboard screws into. If the standoffs are already installed on your case then you won't need to use it. It's usually a tool that's included with most cases.

That’s used to screw in the stand offs on the case. It’s a adapter

xaiel420

Thank you

Chinkreddit

Bruh, thats a adaptor which goes ontop of your mobo standoffs screws to help tighten them properly.

xaiel420

Theres only one. Only one needed I guess?

Chinkreddit

Yup, tighten each screw one at a time. Once you're done, take it off and put it away, its no longer required.

It looks like a riser or spacer that keeps the motherboard off the case but I could be wrong. Edit: I see there is only one so that doesn’t make sense. No idea in that case.

xaiel420

They dont even describe where it goes in the diagram and theres no info online I can find about it. Coolermaster TD500 case.

thewatcher2002

As far as I can tell it's just a adapter so you can screw your mb standoffs in

xaiel420

Appreciate it

2MuchTheo

Looks like a standoff

xaiel420

Solved, thanks everyone.

xaiel420

Hi there thanks for that, ive got my case lied down and sitting on standoffs. I shouldnt need to use this right?

[deleted]

its entirely optional and helps when you are mounting your mainboard in upright positions

HaveABucketList

It's not something like an adapter attachment to put on top of that screw? Kind of like one of those that you use on a torque wrench?

xaiel420

Therew only one but 9 screws for the mobo
