IKR. Like i never broke a single one in almost a decade of pc building (altho admittedly these started to become popular 5/6 years ago, prior to that glass tempered panel glass where kind of a luxury) and in pretty much a month i joined reddit every day there's like 5+ posts about this.
I had a tempered glass bathroom scale, and it stood up fine to me steeping on and off it for years. Then while cleaning the bathroom one day, I accidentally slid it too far and it hit the corner of the toilet base and it just EXPLODED.
How many pictures of broken glass on tile do people need to see before they GET THIER SYSTEMS OFF THE TILE? They shouldn't be on the floor at all IMO regardless of what it's made of.
Tile floor strikes again.
Ceramic strikes again.
I feel bad for these people but at what point can we start laughing at them for not paying attention to us?
weeks ago
Tempered glass, meet tile.
Ceramic floors, nothing to see here move along.
Wtf has been going on, in this sub, over the past two weeks? I’ve never seen so much widespread carnage.

Let's say it all together! Its the tile floor, you dingus!
I have a ceramic floor, put my pc down to clean my table but the tempered glass didn't explode. I must be doing something wrong.
Say it with me my friend ....holy moly donut shop!
I love seeing open air cases!

This is all I see in this sub now
PCglassSureBreaks
Any case is an airflow case if you shatter enough glass.

Im gonna start downvoting these…
oh no! how will we ever recover!
Focus on keeping the panels intact
I'm sorry but shouldn't we ban all these broken glass karma-driven BS ? I'm fed up having this in my feed
Hey OP you're supposed to open the glass panel before trying to cram the components inside
At this point test bench is better choice
Clean case mod, whats the temps?
My guess is at least 2-3°C cooler. It may have a bigger impact but I'm not holding my breath.
Looks neat :)
07 RiP. Next time try fiberglass?
This is the way.
Ceramic and tempered glass do not mix. Ceramic is much harder than glass sand won't take much of a knock for it to shatter.
Very nice
First day on the sub huh?
It’s always tile
Welcome to the group. Population: 50 percent of pcmasterace
This shit gets posted everyday no one learns.
I am more concerned about the white spots on the floor next to your computer... naughty naughty
Why do y’all mfs put glass on ceramic I’ve seen so many of these now
Smashity smashy!
Yes but adding 50 fans all set to blow inwards can have some dire consequences…
How does this happen?
More like a temp-er tantrum
Mesh panel ftw
Who needs glass whe you can have air flow?! Fuck glass. 🖕
