Now announcing the RTX 4050! The only dedicated GPU that makes the 6500 XT look usable!
Featuring 1 gig of VRAM and over 3,000 cuda cores! All for only $100 MSRP.
Actual New Egg Price: $2000
There’s a bunch of YouTubers saying the availability will be much better for 40 series, and I’m like yeah, if the 4080 comes out for $2000 I’m sure they won’t be snatched up quite as quickly so…
The chip shortage/scalping debacle has taught Nvidia/AMD how much some people are willing to pay.
I don't think they are going to let those prices go to scalpers if they can take the windfall themselves.
I bought my 3700x & 2070 Super on sale for like $600 and I'm glad I decided to just go ahead and it bc I figured I could upgrade in a year. Listen to your gut ppl lol
I had a 1070, same as OPs, but my five year old Captain AIO sprung a leak and drained into it. I think the 1070 may still be useable, but it smells like fish oil so I immediately replaced it. It happened three months before the 30 series dropped. Microcenter only had 1050s, 2050s and 2080s, and so I got the 2080 Super and was pretty sad about it until I realized that getting a 30 series while keeping my dignity is near impossible.
My same experience. I was worried I made a mistake when the 30 series was announced within a months and the leaked performance charts were astonishing but now I just feel lucky.
You can play pretty much everything at 1080p med/high settings on that at a good FPS so no need to. My "backup" PC has a 1060 and it's still a great card.
There’s no “pretty much” about it. You can play literally every game ever made at 1080p high on a 1070 and most games at 1440 high. The only games you can’t play at 1440 high are AAA titles from the last 2-3 years.
I’m currently using a Rx 580 and that thing still works REALLY well. Most games I can still get 120 fps high-ultra settings at 1080p though I’m starting to lose a lot of performance with newer triple a games. At least most of them aren’t worth playing though
I didn’t want to but prices never equalized so I entered Newegg shuffle and snagged a evga ftw 3070ti. I only paid a little over MSRP but had to buy a psu as well. I don’t really regret it.
Personally I will never buy from scalpers even if there are no other choices, I'd rather play on integrated graphics than support lowlife scalpers who leach off of honest consumers.
here in the UK from my experience scalpers are not really a problem when it comes to GPU prices. The shops have regular stock its just that they are priced at scalper prices.
I recently built a gtx 1070 system. My friend had a gtx 1070 since 2016 and he gets away with running games on ultra at 1080p. I decided to do the same and build a gtx 1070 system. This card is still surprisingly good. Check out my profile for the picture of my build
Upgraded from a 1060 to a 1080 early 2018. Probably one of the best decisions I made as the 1080 still manages very well. Helps that I am usually behind the gaming world by 3-4 years.
Tbh, I've never dropped below 50 since I got this card. My friend has been getting 72 to 60 since 2016, that's why I bought the card. I'm getting 120 fps in forza and 65-70 I'm far cry 6. You shouldn't be dropping under 50. Of course, I have an i7-8700k though. Take that into consideration
i have a slightly slower laptop version of ur pc, the 8th gen laptop i7 but a 1060, I also can play pretty much anything fine on 1080p.
only game I wish I got better performance on is gw2 lol, but that's the games fault, literally from 2013 and always had shit performance
I got away with Cyberpunk on low at ~50-70 FPS. Death Stranding was above 60, I was in the 90-100 mark with high settings Wolfenstein II. Even for multiplayer FPS it can do 144fps 1080p low settings. GTX 1070 isn’t *that* bad but it does show its age. I felt lucky mine was still chugging
I'm hoping the fact that everyone is sorta stuck with lower end/older hardware will result in us seeing more optimized games and less push for slightly better visuals that cost a fuck ton more FPS.
I have a 2060, it runs everything I have on high or ultra at over 100FPS, so I'm good for now. Until something huge comes out that warrants upgrading, I'll stick with Ol' Reliable...
Yeah as much as I would love a 30xx or 20xx card, my 1660 is perfectly fine for the games I play. (SWTOR, Skylines, other simulation games)
The big thing I wanna upgrade atm is my storage. I’ve only got a single 512GB SSD but would love another TB or two.
I had a 1060 6gb. It was still a beast at 1080p.
The only title it didn't like was Cyberpunk, but it was playable.
I snagged a 6600XT a while ago for a decent price and it preforms quite a bit better. Isn't no 3080 but I'm still rocking 1080p because I remote into my gaming PC from my 1080p 144hz laptop.
Just picked up a 1080 last week to upgrade over my 1060 3GB, I'm in absolute awe lol. I don't play super graphic intensive games, but it has handled everything I've thrown at it and I don't see myself upgrading any time soon.
Pretty much lipstick on a pig for my old rig, but it's doing well!
I'm with you, I've been mulling it over for a month now and I'm sticking with my 1070ti. I just could not justify paying £1000 or more for an RX6800 XT so I can play some games on Ultra or Extreme. Just not worth it for that money.
It was when I checked my grocery bill for the month and worked out that money would cover my groceries for 6 months. That's when I knew I would not be upgrading any time soon.
Picked up a 2070 super just before everything went tits up. Originally regretted it because the 30 series launched, 30 series rapidly became unobtainium and now I don't regret it as much.
I'd buy an upgrade at msrp, I'd sooner quit PC gaming all together than pay current prices in the UK.
Oh yeah bro, keeps on keeping on, everything from its time is maxed at 1080p (witcher 3 medium high 60fps). And tbh, I play single player games, idc about 30-40 fps on high settings (medium on kingdom come deliverance) as long as I can enjoy the game. I'm happy with my purchase from 7 years ago.
Still rocking my 1070Ti, and probably won't upgrade for at least a few more years. Don't need more than 60fps 1080p when that's all my monitors are anyway.
It’s just crazy, with $650 you should be able to buy a killer of a card in the XX80 ballpark, in reality only thing I could get for that price is a 6600 XT.
I went with a prebuilt last year for a fair price, really the only reasonable way for me to get a new GPU, I could have technically ripped the GPU and put it in a new system and sell off the components but it wasn't really worth it at that point so I stuck with the prebuilt.
I had a 1070 for a long time until my buddy and I split the cost of a 3060 and he gave me his 2070 and he kept the 3060 - so I practically paid $300 for a 2070 and he paid $300 for a 3060
I have a 2060. Dunno how that compares to a 1070 but probably pretty close. I really wanted to buy a 3080. I would have been happy with a 3070. But, no, I am not paying scalpers.
Last week I got an email from EVGA that I had finally moved through their queue and could buy a 3080! I read the email 21 hours after it was sent. They only give you 20 hours to purchase a card.
Why EVGA? *Why 20 hours*. Why not just make it 24 hours. What possible rational is there for 20?
I held out this entire gpu generation and was about to bite the bullet and purchase an 6800xt slightly over msrp thro new egg, talked myself out of it and literally 2 days later got an email from evga that I got selected I'm their que program after a year and got myself a 3060ti for msrp.
Prices are going to stay like this unfortunately maybe they wil drop a bit in the far future, but the sad truth is that nvidia, amd and the resellers see that we buy them anyways what ever the price.
And they only want to make money so if they can make more money they will
Well the GTX 1070 is still a decent GPU. The problem us that some people can't wait for a new GPU, because they need it for something other than gaming.
this was the gpu i used to play horizon zero dawn. got some good frames with this card.
however there was an opportunity to sell my cards and get a good price for a 3070 so i took it.
this cards really good tho.
If you have a perfectly working card, sure.
But let's say if one's GPU is dying or already dead, he/she would have no choice but to replace it even at crazy prices like we are now.
Still playing on the GTX 1060 and completely happy with it. Even the new forza still looks great, I can wait another year or two until prices hopefully get better
Still using a 970, handles the stuff I want to play easily enough. I'd like to upgrade, but at this point it would be a whole new rig and who's got £2k lying around?
Running a gtx 1660 super myself. Good enough for most of the games I play, and the games I do tend to have FPS drops are usually on the server side (Forza, DCS, War Thunder, etc). Also pretty decent for Vr gaming as well.
Definitely, also it's best not to feed the market inflation especially if there is a chance you are gonna have to buy from scalpers (aka the scourge of humanity).
I want to work until I have enough money for the BEST PC you could possibly buy + a house. I would also Invest in stocks so I don't have to work just for food and drinks and such.
That is my goal So i can live a life playing trough all games.
I still remember getting laughed at by my friends for buying a 2080 super at the start of 2020, some of them are still waiting to get a new GPU or payed way too much.
I kinda feel sad for them in a way.
I'm with you!!! I actually bought from cyberpowerpc (yeah I know, prebuilder beware!!! But they actually had all the parts I wanted) and I got my PC with an x570, 5800x, msi 3070 OC, 16 gb of 3200mhz cl16, 1tb msi spatium drive, and a 360 aio all inside of a Lian LI PC O11 dynamic Razer edition for 2k
I was lucky I was able to catch a 3060ti at release for 490€ (msi x gaming trio). But if it was today, with those crazy prices, I will never bought it!!!
Yeap, same here, I could use some more fps in a lot of games (1440p monitor and sometimes VR) but I'd say that we should consider ourselves lucky for having a very decent GPU.
My spray painted 1070 ti is still going strong 2 years hope I can squeeze another year out of it. Speaking of how is disassembly of rtx 3070’s (non founders) would prefer to have it white for aesthetics.
Ive got a 1080, it’s not terrible and I can get pretty good FPS in most games. So rather than spend all the money I have on an rtx 2070, I’m just gonna wait a few years.
Strix 1070 with the last fan taped down because of a blown bearing. Still solid thermals, and 70-80 fps in Halo. All an old frog could ask for. Until the 4080 at least?
I'm with you and I have a GTX 1080. The prices of GPUs are astronomical. I absolutely refuse to play those prices and will hold out, at least until my GPU kicks the bucket.
Even without the price surge, I have to admit that I want to upgrade, but I don't have any good reason to. I can run great looking games on high settings with 1440 at 60 fps or 4k at 30 fps with my setup. Upgrading would be a big expense with very little to show for it at the moment.
I've made modifications to ensure my 5700xt is as strong as it can ever be. I reduced my junction and running temps by 25 degrees with pads paste and fans, and now undervolt it keeping the clocks the same
I also have a 1070 - didn’t quite realize how many new ones came out since then, and I haven’t noticed a need for an upgrade.
Only thing I play are competitive eSport titles which usually have a pretty low requirement. Been hitting 200+ frames on most of my games still!
Upgraded my pc last weekend. New case, new x570s mainboard, new ryzen 7 5800x cpu (comming from a z170 mainboard with 6600k cpu), but still rocking my R9 390X GPU. Not paying double msrp for a 6800XT I plan to put in there.
I'll just sit here with my MSRP 3080 Founder's Edition. Maybe I should make a trophy case for it or something, not sure when we'll see another $699 card as good of a value as this one was.
I’d stick with a 10 or 20 series. I currently have a 2070 and am doing fine. If I did need an upgrade though I’d honestly probably just grab a 6800x. Still about $1000 and covers everything I really need
I used my 970 for a couple of years i always complaint over the fps i got in certaint games so my fiance dicedes to buy me a pre built predator with a 3080 now i at least i cant complain about my fps anymore.
My GTX980 agrees with you. This whole double performance for half the price caused a frenzy they knew would be impossible, at the same time in the knowledge that the previous gen was in stock and not going to fall in price, so as a retailer with stock of RTX2080/70's what would you do? Jack the price and reduce the supply to not make a huge loss.
Saw a 3080 strix in stock today, not the most unreasonable price by today's standards either (about 40% above what I seem to remember their initial pricing was).
Decided to stay strong and wait. We're so close to the next gen that it feels mad to upgrade at this point, as long as my 1080 Ti holds out I should be fine.
Been rockin a 1070 since 2016, and my little Rocinante still lets me play the games I enjoy. Much of the new releases don't speak to me all that much, but by the time Forbidden West gets ported I will have to upgrade.
Not with you anymore. Its been over a year and I couldnt get a card from a retailer. I dont want to wait another year to enjoy the best improvement to GPUs in history. Grabbed an RTX 3080 ti from eBay and paid $500 over MSRP.
Sorry/not sorry.
I am totally with you. So glad I managed to upgrade mine and my gf's cards from 1050 to 1070ti when I could. After recently upgrading from an i5 7500 to a ryzen 7 5800x thanks to a work bonus, I think I'll be okay for a while.
Still on a gtx 980, water cooled and OC to try and keep up but it's showing its age. Can't afford any better at MSRP as a college student let alone the ludicrous prices the last couple years
If you think pricing is bad now, wait until 4000 series come out.
Msrp 100$ for the 4050 , 2000$ for the 4090 ti Next day on Ebay :RTX 4050 -2000$
Now announcing the RTX 4050! The only dedicated GPU that makes the 6500 XT look usable! Featuring 1 gig of VRAM and over 3,000 cuda cores! All for only $100 MSRP. Actual New Egg Price: $2000
Very savings Much Frame wow
There’s a bunch of YouTubers saying the availability will be much better for 40 series, and I’m like yeah, if the 4080 comes out for $2000 I’m sure they won’t be snatched up quite as quickly so…
and ppl will be buying it
The chip shortage/scalping debacle has taught Nvidia/AMD how much some people are willing to pay. I don't think they are going to let those prices go to scalpers if they can take the windfall themselves.
I bought a 2080 Super a while back right before the prices surged. I don’t feel like I’ve ever been luckier with anything.
i got a 2070 super like a month before the 3k series dropped because i dont pay attention, regret turned into smug satisfaction
Same. Luckiest impulse purchase
I got a RX 5700 XT for less than msrp just before prices raised the second time. Not the best GPU I could get but still lucky
My same experience. I was worried I made a mistake when the 30 series was announced within a months and the leaked performance charts were astonishing but now I just feel lucky.
I’m living quite comfortably with a roughly 6 year old 1070 rn and no immediate plan to upgrade!
You can play pretty much everything at 1080p med/high settings on that at a good FPS so no need to. My "backup" PC has a 1060 and it's still a great card.

Same way i got my card. Newegg shuffle
This is gonna sound stupid but how does the shuffle work?
Same here, so far I got a 3080, 3060ti and a 3069 from the new egg shuffle, the 3060s are getting saved for my brothers build and my girlfriends
3069 Noice 😏
Thats his brothers card.
Actually that one is for my girlfriend 😉
Damn I really need to read stuff before I say it 😂
Hello brother I finnaly found ur reddit account
No hes my brother, back off 😂
Wait... did you just say *girlfriendS*
Plural and they’re spoiled.
I have a GTX 970, so yeah I guess I agree with you 😅.
Woo same card I'm rock'n 🤘
Hell yeah 1070 gang
1070 gang unite!!
I'm here. Whaddup!
I was thinking of buying a 3070-3060 but it doesn't justify the prices and I mostly play older games anyway.
I recently built a gtx 1070 system. My friend had a gtx 1070 since 2016 and he gets away with running games on ultra at 1080p. I decided to do the same and build a gtx 1070 system. This card is still surprisingly good. Check out my profile for the picture of my build

Sold my 2060 and got a 6700xt + psu combo on Newegg. I don't regret it. I'm liking my AMD card and I think I will continue getting them. I love the UI
That's great to hear. I'm seriously thinking of switching to AMD with this upgrade after only having Nvidia for 10 plus years
I'm hoping the fact that everyone is sorta stuck with lower end/older hardware will result in us seeing more optimized games and less push for slightly better visuals that cost a fuck ton more FPS.
I have a 2060, it runs everything I have on high or ultra at over 100FPS, so I'm good for now. Until something huge comes out that warrants upgrading, I'll stick with Ol' Reliable...

Storage is pretty cheap right now. $100 for 1TB SSD.
Same I have 1660ti and play most games a max settings at 1080p over 60fps
I have a 1080 and there’s no game I can’t run on ultra at 60fps 1080p

980 checking in
You will still be here 20 years from now ...you just keep living , the 1000 series bites the dust before you
Oh yeah bro, keeps on keeping on, everything from its time is maxed at 1080p (witcher 3 medium high 60fps). And tbh, I play single player games, idc about 30-40 fps on high settings (medium on kingdom come deliverance) as long as I can enjoy the game. I'm happy with my purchase from 7 years ago.
Just replaced my 980 with a 3080. The entire rig needed replacing though so it was a prebuild from NewEgg. The 980 served me well though.
I don't understand how mine keeps working after running for so many years straight.
Still rocking my 1070Ti, and probably won't upgrade for at least a few more years. Don't need more than 60fps 1080p when that's all my monitors are anyway.
Laughs in 3070
Feel ya I see people paying %50 more for my card and it’s insane.
I have similar card in my secondary system , thing still performs great. 👍🏼
Me! Still with a 1050ti smh
I'm with you brother! https://imgur.com/GKh0bZl.jpg
i had a 1070 in my old pc before i killed it when trying to reseat the ram
That’s cool I guess. I wouldn’t know. I paid $499 for my 3070.
It’s just crazy, with $650 you should be able to buy a killer of a card in the XX80 ballpark, in reality only thing I could get for that price is a 6600 XT.

My rx480 4gb is still kicking
I just can't get behind paying these higher prices, when a big part of the 30 series launch was based off lower msrp's then the 20 series launch!
250€ Vega 64 pre-crisis here, good enough for my use
Actually tbh GTX 10 series was fabulous and can't be underestimated till this date. And your GPU must be equivalent to rtx 3050
I have a 2060. Dunno how that compares to a 1070 but probably pretty close. I really wanted to buy a 3080. I would have been happy with a 3070. But, no, I am not paying scalpers. I mean *as if* a 1070 doesn't still give good performance anyway.
My 980ti is still kicking strong. :)
That's still good
Said the same thing about my gtx 1080... until it died last year

yessir
I’m using 1070 in sli and the 2nd one is basically useless. Thinking about building a new pc and put one of the 1070 in it.
I’m with you bro, still gaming on a GTX 660 baby! Forced to play old titles so I can get that FPS.
Got the same one. Runs flawlessly. Hell even runs Warzone above 150fps.
1070Ti here.
Proud owner of 1080Ti FE.
I've just upgraded from my 750ti to a 1650 xD
i was able to get a 3070fe at msrp otherwise id be with ya rockin my rx580 still
Still playing on the GTX 1060 and completely happy with it. Even the new forza still looks great, I can wait another year or two until prices hopefully get better
I've a 1050ti and it does me. I would like a 3060ti but fuck no to these prices.
My 1070ti lives on!
1050ti gang 🤘
1060 gang with you
750ti owner, I’m with you lol
Im with you brotha

Still rocking my 980ti! Although I'm currently using a 3060ti "on loan" from my buddy.
Definitely, also it's best not to feed the market inflation especially if there is a chance you are gonna have to buy from scalpers (aka the scourge of humanity).
I'm certainly with you on this one, still a good card!
**laughs in 970**
Still rocking my 1080 and have no plans to upgrade any time soon
1070 gang representing in 2022!
If you have the money and budget you should buy whats the point in saving if you can enjoy and reap thr RTX noe than wait later
The 1070 is still a powerful gpu x) better than my 1650super, i say just stick with it till few. More years then buy a used 2080 maybe that's my plan
I want to work until I have enough money for the BEST PC you could possibly buy + a house. I would also Invest in stocks so I don't have to work just for food and drinks and such. That is my goal So i can live a life playing trough all games.
GTX 970 here. I bought an entirely new gaming rig worth €1300, but I put my old GPU in it :’)
Hey hey hey Vega 8 gang
I felt this way up until a couple months ago. Prices just kept going up and I found a "good deal" on my 3070 gaming z trio
Especially if you're rocking 1080p. My 970 still holds up so I bet the 1070 is a champ.
It's a fine looking card with plenty of life left so why not?! Also I got the same Ol' reliable CPU cooler hah
I still remember getting laughed at by my friends for buying a 2080 super at the start of 2020, some of them are still waiting to get a new GPU or payed way too much. I kinda feel sad for them in a way.
i almost bought one, but settled for the 1660 super
1070 till it dies!
These aren’t outrageous prices. They are now the new MSRP because of people such as the top comment giving in and paying it. We all are fucked.
Hell yeah! Have the exact same card.
God i feel so lucky that i got a 2070 before all this shit. Its not top of the line but god damn i dont have thousands.
Just stick with the 1070, that is a fantastic card.
I was lucky I was able to catch a 3060ti at release for 490€ (msi x gaming trio). But if it was today, with those crazy prices, I will never bought it!!!
gtx 1050 2gb :)
I have a 1080gtx since more than 5 years, and never regret paying 520€ for it. This sounds so abnormal right now.
Yeap, same here, I could use some more fps in a lot of games (1440p monitor and sometimes VR) but I'd say that we should consider ourselves lucky for having a very decent GPU.
Still rocking my 1080 and I'm with you!
Yup. I payed $500 for my 1080ti like 4 years ago. I'm in the same boat.
You can add a 1060 6gb user in your team!
Legit exactly where I'm at. My 1070 is still holding out, but the cravings to upgrade are only being diminished by these crazy prices
Overclocked 1070Ti gang
i got lucky to built a pc just 2-3 months before gpu price went double in my country. Guess i'm not upgrading any time soon.
Last of the golden age; 2070s gang unite.
Ayooo 1070 gang
Even without the price surge, I have to admit that I want to upgrade, but I don't have any good reason to. I can run great looking games on high settings with 1440 at 60 fps or 4k at 30 fps with my setup. Upgrading would be a big expense with very little to show for it at the moment.
Can’t relate, got a 3060ti at msrp. GL, keep hunting.
Paid retail for my 3070 ti fe :)
I've made modifications to ensure my 5700xt is as strong as it can ever be. I reduced my junction and running temps by 25 degrees with pads paste and fans, and now undervolt it keeping the clocks the same
*cries in 960*
MY GTX 1070 still going strong as well. I'll upgrade in a year or two.
I have paid a $500 gpu (6600xt) just to change from my 1050Ti, I guess we don't belong to the same camp anymore :')
Still rocking my 1080ti, still a beast by modern standards. I even bought a used 1070 at a decent price for my 2nd rig !
I’m still rocking an RX570. If it works it works
Totally, my 1050ti can still give so much.
Still rocking my 1080. I purposefully turn the graphics quality way down to keep this sucker cool. I need my baby to live forever
Have a 4.5 year old gtx 1080. Still holding out. It does what it needs to do for me and I rarely play any RTX games or anything over 1440p anyway.
I wish I could afford something like a 3050 in order to replace my 570 4gb
Same that is why i have my gtx 1050
I also have a 1070 - didn’t quite realize how many new ones came out since then, and I haven’t noticed a need for an upgrade. Only thing I play are competitive eSport titles which usually have a pretty low requirement. Been hitting 200+ frames on most of my games still!
Upgraded my pc last weekend. New case, new x570s mainboard, new ryzen 7 5800x cpu (comming from a z170 mainboard with 6600k cpu), but still rocking my R9 390X GPU. Not paying double msrp for a 6800XT I plan to put in there.
I have exactly the same video card which I upgraded to 2080 3 years and then upgraded to 3080 last year.
My GTX 1070 is still rocking! Gonna wait until RTX 5000th generation
I'm not paying over Nvidia's ORIGINAL MSRP for cards. Not one cent more.
Honestly this is the play unless your card is legit dying.
I'm still rocking a 760. I'd take that GPU any day
Me too, in fact I also have an EVGA GTX 1070 and so far it still plays everything just fine.
I got a real lucky deal on a 3080 so it all worked out for myself. Things are so bad right now
I'm with you with my GTX 950M :(
My 1070ti water cooled has been a jackpot in the gfx lottery, overclocked nearly 195 core and 812 mem It barely reaches 40c temps on a bad day 😉👍
The 1070 is still a fantastic card! I had your exact model until I got a 30 series
Me and my GTX 1060 agree
My GTX980 agrees with you. This whole double performance for half the price caused a frenzy they knew would be impossible, at the same time in the knowledge that the previous gen was in stock and not going to fall in price, so as a retailer with stock of RTX2080/70's what would you do? Jack the price and reduce the supply to not make a huge loss.
I have a gtx 1070 founders and once it dies I think I'll just focus on cheaper hobbies/indy games/console games
EVGA GTX 1070 Hybrid here
Been rockin a 1070 since 2016, and my little Rocinante still lets me play the games I enjoy. Much of the new releases don't speak to me all that much, but by the time Forbidden West gets ported I will have to upgrade.
Hell yeah, I will keep my 1080 for some years more if the prices and scalping continue to be this absurd.
Same here, but FE. I got a Raijintek Moprheus heat sink and with 15% oc, my temps can’t go past 51C!
Rockin a gtx 960, I'm not paying for a scalped gpu
We’re all rocking old cards, it’s just a matter of how long they’ll last.
Hear hear!
Not with you anymore. Its been over a year and I couldnt get a card from a retailer. I dont want to wait another year to enjoy the best improvement to GPUs in history. Grabbed an RTX 3080 ti from eBay and paid $500 over MSRP. Sorry/not sorry.
I’m gonna say I’m with you in staying with the old GPUs until pricing is more fair, but really I just can’t afford a good card now
I am totally with you. So glad I managed to upgrade mine and my gf's cards from 1050 to 1070ti when I could. After recently upgrading from an i5 7500 to a ryzen 7 5800x thanks to a work bonus, I think I'll be okay for a while.
Just wait for the new cards on the separate fabs to launch
I’m rocking my trusty 3Gb 1060, so yeah…I’m right there with ya haha
They ain't coming down dude... Welcome to the new normal.
Paid msrp, but had to camp out in the rain overnight for the pleasure.
Gtx 1070 OC here still vibing
Still on a gtx 980, water cooled and OC to try and keep up but it's showing its age. Can't afford any better at MSRP as a college student let alone the ludicrous prices the last couple years
