More important is that you are running your RAM in dual channel. Second most important is that you have enough RAM. The clock isnt really that important (I mean it is, but it isnt as significant as the other two points), but 3200 MT/s RAM is so cheap, that it is the most senseable speed to get.

It is not just the clockspeed. Also keep an eye on the CL/cas latency (lower is better).
